McCain gets confused (again) on world geography, stating in an interview on ABC, "I think it's serious. . . . It's a serious situation, but there's a lot of things we need to do. We have a lot of work to do and I'm afraid it's a very hard struggle, particularly given the situation on the Iraq-Pakistan border."
McCain was responding to Diane Sawyer's question as to whether or not he agreed with Obama's comment that the situation in Afghanistan is "percarious and urgent."

If Obama is inexperienced, at least he has shown that he has ample capacity to learn, and quickly. McCain never knew that much at his highest point, and it's clear that his best days are behind him in terms of mental acuity. Not to be unkind, but at his age the loss of faculties will worsen dramatically in the next four, or heaven forbid!, eight years. Such a president would be easy prey for those he depends on to prop him up, as we have seen with other presidents in the past. The POTUS must be the sharpest tack in a drawer of sharp tacks, and McCain just doesn't measure up.
