its too bad our elected representatives don't seem to remember their oath of office...when they come up for reelection, we must see they are removed.

THE QUESTION

Every citizen must demand - from every candidate for office, from every Congressional Representative and Senator now in office an answer to the question:

What have you done to fulfill your Oath of Office, to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States of America, in the face of the many credible allegations of impeachable offence leveled against George W. Bush and Richard Cheney?

How can you, standing for office, ask anyone to vote for you in the face of your failure to demand hearings and investigations? How can you ask us to believe, that once elected, you will honor the oath you have, so far, failed to honor?

And, from every journalist, newscaster, interviewer and media pundit –

How, as journalists, can you justify your failure to demand an answer to this question?

It all boils down to what Reagan did in 1988, bowing to pressure from the right, by abolishing the “Fairness Doctrine". The fairness doctrine was the law of the land since 1932. This allowed channels like Fox News and Rush Limbaugh to come to existence. Ninety two percent (92%) of radio talk show hosts now are of the right wing persuasion. Public airwaves belong to the public and the fairness doctrine must be restored. Insist that the presidential candidates promise to restore the fairness doctrine and to bust the 5 media monopolies which control our thought process.

he torture, detentions, Katrina, the revocation of abortion rights, the lying, the spying, the rampant corruption, the attacks on science, the breaching of the Church-State divide and the moves towards a theocracy, the decline in social services and governmental protections, the revocations of civil liberties, the know-nothingism, intolerance, and bigotry..

Umm...can someone please give me an intelligent and viable reason how Bush (greatest president since Reagan) can be impeached? He did not commit a single impeachable offense. Unlike Slick Willy who lied under oath to Congress.

Congress can't do it. Congress won't do it. (Shame on them!) We have to force congress to do it. "It" is to push, cajole, beg, threaten, scream, demonstrate until articles of impeachment are passed by the House and the crimes and lies become fodder for THE trial. Then and only then can we hope to stop the war.
We must remove the "decider" and the other controlers who are the only impediments to bringing this folly to an end. The Constitution is clear and, under the present circumstances, provides us with the ONLY logical and effective remedy for saving our country, our constitution and for stopping the senseless slaughter.
IMPEACH AND DO IT NOW, then the war WILL stop. We all need to support every effort to impeach these criminals and to do it today!

Every day I wonder why more is not being done to get our current leaders out of office. Enough people know the truth to take steps to stop them. Truly our "president" and "vice president" are two of the most dangerous men in the world. What more can we, as citizens, do? It is apparent that most Senators and Congressmen are not listening to the voice of the people. I am becoming more and more frustrated that no real action is being taken to stop these men. God help us!

I saw the photographs and wish that they would put them on TV. I think that no one would want their son or daughter to go through this. I support our troops--but they are being put in harms way for no reason and the Iraqui civilians who don't think with hatred. I go to all kinds of peoples homes for my work. I have found that all people are the same: rich nice people, poor nice people, jerk rich and poor, mean people come in all colors and cultures and sweet wonderful human beings come in all colors and cultures all over the world. These people did not ask to be put under a dictator, they are poor. It is hard to rise when you are poor, but we have so many examples of those who have--Abe Lincoln for one. Education of the masses and courage to touch move and inspire is key. When people don't have access to education--the ones who do take over. I think those of us with education who see the bigger picture for the greater good have to take a stand for the ones who need guidance (and it does not always come in the form of college, it may be self taught, there are some very smart people with diplomas from eighth grade who keep educating themselves in life). Lets Vote for a Good President and Vice President this next time!

I no how they won the election. By treachery. And most of all by Money. They have so much ultra rich people who want more, so they backed him because of his tax cuts for the wealthy.
The first win, (Al Gore was voted in by more people) by the Supreme Court (Republicans with life long jobs) and the second time by the dirty money in advertisments that lied about Kerry.
This man is the biggest hypocrite we have ever put in power.
