How have we got from the likes of Franklin Rossevelt and JFK to the Kings of the Bufoons and evil, G.W. Bush and Mr Greed, Cheney. And how has the American people got so gulible and ignorant. Are Mr. J. Stewart, Mr Rafferty, and the best of them all Mr K Olberman the only people on the news to see the disastrous reality of this presidency. It all boils down to what Reagan did in 1988, bowing to pressure from the right, by abolishing the “Fairness Doctrine". The fairness doctrine was the law of the land since 1932. This allowed channels like Fox News and Rush Limbaugh to come to existence. Ninety two percent (92%) of radio talk show hosts now are of the right wing persuasion. Public airwaves belong to the public and the fairness doctrine must be restored. Insist that the presidential candidates promise to restore the fairness doctrine and to bust the 5 media monopolies which control our thought process.

Thank God for people like Keith Olbermann. I vote for him for President. There should be more like him. Thank you for saying what millions of Americans would like to say but have no podium to do so.
