Joe Biden's first appearance as Barack Obama's running mate in Springfield, Illinois brought up not only the baggage of some previous Biden comments that don't fit the message of the Obama campaign, but also raised worries that, being the fourth most senior member of the US Senate, Biden doesn't quite fit with Obama's message of change. Still, I believe Obama's selection of this senior, experienced US Senator who will give him candid advice to help him govern is a positive choice outweighing any baggage Biden might bring as I show with the clips and analysis in this video.
