A searing look at the realities of the war in Iraq by Kelly Gallaher. With photos ranging from personal blogs to Pulitizer Prize winners, all the photos are real and heartbreaking. The use of the music "Comfortably Numb" performed by Dar Williams was inspired by the absence of visual representation of the Iraq war from newscasts and newspapers, leaving mainstream America both comfortable and numb to the grim horror of war taking place while we go about our lives. Ironically, while this film was being edited for use on YouTube and MySpace, the military restricted access to these websites for soldiers stationed in Iraq.
