The home invasion in Charleston, Il. by two blacks that led to the paralysis of a white police officer, and the deaths of two of his family members? Where were they for the horrible home invasion, rapes, torture, and murders now known as the "Wichita massacre"? There are literally thousands more crimes like these that go unreported by the "Big 3". Don't believe me? Look them up. Ninety-nine percent of the time they only report crimes committed by whites. Wake up, people! The "whole story" is NOT being told to you.

Let it be known that I'm a diehard liberal, pretty much hate everything about Fox Noise, despise conservative mouthpieces like Sean Hannity and Bill O'Liely, and thoroughly enjoy Keith Olbermann's almost nightly ripping of them; however, the criticisms of Roger Ailes' speech, especially his jokes at the beginning, are totally unfounded.

In fact, not only are they unfounded, but they do damage to the other legitimate concerns about Fox expressed elsewhere on this website. As several posters before me have noted, the Obama quip was actually poking fun at Bush's feeble grasp of foreign affairs, and the Clinton and France jokes were standard fare that have been fair game for people on both sides of the political fence for a long time.

There are many reasons to be concerned about the shoddy reporting and shameless spinning put on the news by an organization that purports to be "fair and balanced," but attacking Ailes' speech only hurts our/your credibility and thereby diminishes what is an otherwise noble cause to expose Fox for the fraud that it truly is.

Not that I especially care what the right wing noise machine thinks, but there's no need to give them any red meat with this Ailes' speech nonstarter. That's why I'm imploring someone here to drop this part of the case against Fox and stick to exposing the real failings of this so-called news network.

oh c'mon -- i'm not a fan of FOX at all. but the "joke" about obama was a poke at bush more than than the senator (i.e., bush can't tell the difference between "osama" and "obama"). if dems are going to lose their sense of humor, it's going to be a damn long campaign. the late night guys have made the same joke for months. like all the network news channels, FOX bears careful scrutiny -- but i'm thoroughly sick of the "us" vs "them" attitude spouted by most here and around the country. last i checked, the folks who can vote here are all americans. mocking dems or republicans simply because they're on the "other" team is a fallacy as old as time, i suppose. one would think we would have more sense in the 21st century. perhaps it's time we all grew up already...

The people who complain about Fox News probably also believe that ABC, CBS and NBC are unbiased. It's interesting that so many on the left believe that anyone who doesn't agree with them is incredibly ignorant ("rich ignorant morons and toothless idiots", as a previous poster said). I hope you were similarly concerned when, during the 2004 campaign, fawning tributes to John Kerry were presented as news each night. Did you call for a boycott of CBS News when Mary Mapes and Dan Rather presented falsified documents as being real? I doubt it, because these stories served your purpose. As far as this being a Democratic debate and Fox is hostile to Democrats, I guess by that reasoning, Republican candidates should refuse to participate in any debates which involved the "Big Three" (which aren't nearly as important as they once were).

You're right to call this mockumentary hit-job for what it is but, there are no other factual or credible ways to prove what they're claiming as it is false...For Hannity's mistake as you rightly called it, I saw it myself, however, Hannity is not a reporter. Many of the other networks actual 'reporters' make this mistake and far, far worse. I've seen those also. Law enforcement and medical first responders see this all too often. After awhile of knowing what you saw and then what they reported you'ld swear they'ld lie if the truth sounded better.

AND there are no "important democrats" as their total history is comprised of nothing but ridicule and obstructionism without a single offer to remedy a cause of anything. Knee-jerk reactions without a single rational thought as to the long term ramifications of that action. Then, not a word of responsibility.

Coming from Germany, where news are still presented as facts, not "infotainment", I would have preferred a presentation ("Outfoxed") that's more based on facts. The style of the movie too much reminded me of Fox News itself.

Yes, FoxNews is mouthpiece for the Republican party. But your edited clip is not the best way to show this. You don't need MTV-style editing to make your point. Make it in a clearer, slower way so that it doesn't look like you're taking quotes out of context. Simply point out that Fox's idea of 'breaking news' is to generate ridiculous stories allegedly undermining the character of Democrats. The "Muslim" Obama thing is a good example, but in the future with this sort of thing, just present the case, with title cards and an explanation of what they are doing, and slightly longer clips so it doesn't look like a fuzzy propaganda piece. The reality is clear enough; you don't need to juice it up.

By the way, not that I'm a huge fan of Hillary these days but you could also produce a piece on the Fox's coverage of Hillary speaking in a southern accent at a black church. They took a clip of her speaking in an accent WHILE QUOTING SOMEONE and presented it as if she PRETENDED that was her actual voice. A basic, essential distinction that they ignored while blowing up this ridiculous "story" last week.

I do appreciate your work, and you could start a file on Fox's treatment of all the important democrats. But just present each case in a more factual, straightforward way and it will be more credible, I think.

I think that Fox News is a microcosm of the Republican party: Fox shouts that it is "fair and balanced," but is just the opposite. Isn't that what George W. Bush has done during his entire presidency? We've had:

---"Healthy Forests"
---"Clear Skies"
---the "death tax"
---"We can fight them there or we can fight them here."
---Democrats don't "support the troops" (because they want to bring them home).
---We need to "Win the peace."

It's about time for people to get independent groups like the League of Women Voters to once again run and set guidelines for presidential debates. As of now the debates are just press junkets which exclude independent candidates and even serious questions.

I'm all for outfoxing Fox, but when political speech is diminished, I get worried.

What's interesting is how the free market is punishing FOX. If candidates don't want to go on FOX it's a free market choice. A business decision. The truth is all major media slants politically to the right of the average American - but FOX is off the map. I'd like all candidates to expose FOX by boycotting them. FOX simply doesn't reach enough Americans to matter as much as they used to. They reach an elderly demographic that isn't going to change their opinion about anything.

A boycott of FOX brings the discussion of WHY up. The answer is because they don't present news. They present a pile of crap and most folks now know it. Anyone who doesn't know it will know it after 2 years of political candidate boycotts.

I just watched the FoxAttacks video and did not see anything wrong. As a matter of fact, I saw the Al Sharpton interview in its entirety. Al could not cite one instance of Obama assisting black people. It was a fair question based on what Obama professes and I just don't understand why that clip, in particular, made the video montage. Please try to do a better job of showing video clips that would describe what you call "attacks".

Here is an excellent reason why FOX should be boycotted: currently fraud and disinformation is being perpetrated in Nevada. On the Nevada State Democratic Party website, party chairman Tom Collins refers to the collective agreement of all Western states to allow the FOX organization to host the debate. He referred to www.westerndemocrat.com. On that site, Emmett O’Connell claims that a person named “Dullard Marsh” is “doing a good job of explaining” the debate controversy. PROBLEM: Dullard Marsh is really a biased and blatant smear-blog called “Dullard Mush” www.dullardmush.com - to the unsuspecting, one would think that a Mr. Marsh makes a reasonable point. In fact, upon visiting the Dullard MUSH site, it is obviously distorting information and smearing candidates. This is why citizens in favor of government for the people and by the people are sick of entities such as FOX who manipulate people and distort the truth. No one is afraid of Journalists, and reasonable people are able to tell whether a journalist is fair. But even incredibly smart people can be conned by distortion and brain washing which is blatantly practiced by the FOX organization; That even smart people can be conned is clearly demonstrated by former FBI agent Robert Hannsen currently in prison for betraying our country by selling secrets to the Russians.
