Realize that the military is a bunch of boot lickers that will do whatever it takes to get a promotion. "Thin Red Line" portrays this well. Of course the military is SNAFU. For the most part it is a bunch of under-opportunitied young people with a very low average level of formal and informal education or experience with anything.

The wine and cheese clubber officers in command are a bunch of boot licking, college educated not at the top of their class, weasals trying desperately to be in the right place to get promoted. Long hours of dreaming up nothing worth doing to do. Fraternal and maternal buffoons, with a hierarchy so deeply engrained in them that it is similar to the Catholic church.

For the most part these people are a bungling bunch of idiots within a bubble of an accident waiting to happen. Be careful of the enquisitions.

Most of the contractors are only slightly better, but that is evidently enough to find better results and people than any military can achieve.

We will be in Iraq for at least another five years, and the news will only report the troops coming home, not the fresh contractors going over there.

This is to say,"Get used to this contractor business turning into the new NAFTA and GHAT Police." And if they ever run out of work to do in Iraq, then the British will find work for them in any one of their other colonies. Maybe the U.S. Colony.

Dutch and British Troops were stationed on board U.S. Navy ships outside of New Orleans, during Catrina, to protect Dutch Shell and British Petroleum assets against American citizens attacking those assets. That or they thought our governemnt may not be trusted. Either way, the U.S. Navy helps Britain and the Netherlands, and is willing to kill or help to kill any Americans who don't agree with this.

The NSA is a private organization owned by foriegn investers. It is allowed to dictate to our Navy and Air Force already, and they have had special plans for governing the U.S. during crisis.

As you imply, we are not allowed to talk about that either. If you refer to the CIA Factbook, and look at any Western Nation's debt, you will see that many are pegged right at 65% of their GDP. This includes Switzerland, who has been in seeming competition with the Rothchild empire. To the extent that the Rothchild family forced them to allow them to buy land in Switzerland, and in the tax free zones.

My point is that, as long as we behave as Americans that have our own American interests in mind, I can accept the banks running the financial markets and forcing labor out of us. In the case of the United States, the politicians actually have no concern for nationality. They want the labor and to have us left with no sovereign rights to any of it.

That is a significant difference when compared to European countries and their ability to take care of their citizens, and furthermore take care of their rights as fellow countrymen. Our politicians are selling us out, spying on us, and trying to take every right of the average citizen away, and they seem like they are in quite a hurry to put us up for sale.

Even with similar and higher debt to GDP ratios, the Europeans have maintained integrity among their homeland and their fellow citizen's civil rights. Although they do try to steal from them, and the citizens do push back.

That is the major difference between freedom loving people, and dullards that are afraid of their own government, and sit waiting for the British press to tell them something is wrong.

Vote them out, and run the British run media home, along with their companies before they buy all of the last three hold-out politicians in this country. The politicians either sell-out and become traitors, or the Brits make up stories about them in the press that morons will believe.

How do you think Vietnam Vets that did not become lifers felt during and after that waste of resources. This has all been done before, and the corrupt government and the media run by the scoundrels helped make that rediculous war happen by scaring otherwise witty people out of their wits.

Nobody in their right mind would have thought going to Iraq or Afghanistan would have been protecting us here or amywhere. The real crime of Sept. 11, was the corrupt exclusive contracts given to Globe Security and others. If they were serious about accountability for Sept. 11, they would have arrested and jailed the people at the top that had inadequate security. Four attempts Four successes is 100% failure.

Instead they just grabbed our rights and waved the flags. Crazy Nazi stuff to me, but I know working class Americans can be pretty dumb and easily misled by the media.

I was in the military, and there are no honorable men there. Period. They lie, cheat, falsify records, worse than the average Catholic priest, so don't expect much from these guys. They also signed up because the law, courts, and their own families suggested it. This means that there is a systemic flaw that avoids drafting better people for the job. Yes, drafting is better than that lousey bunch of liars and dullards I saw in the ranks of the lifer time wasters. They do little but waste time in all peacetime Armies.

Every soldier signed a waiver that states clearly that they will do any MOS necassary to the military goal, so they can go to the front lines, but there is none. It is all an occupation and CIVPOL deal, which is just a simple coloialization to steal Iraqi resources. We are just waiting for the Iraqis to build their Police force to a level of corruption and brutality so that we can leave. There is nobody historically better at that than the British, and we are just about as good at building repressive colonies run by sell-outs installed by us.

This was only about money from the beginning. Let the guys that take big risks get the bigger pay. Also, the Army is too untrained and stupid to do the tough stuff. Even the best of the bunch is pretty much bungling idiots. They are all lucky we have such good technology to overcome this lack of good personnel.

All branches of the military, and all personnel do not need a large pay raise to keep the skilled soldiers in place. The Army should have made warrant officers out of the special forces guys a long time ago, so they did not have to answer to dumb lifer NCO's. And in serious units that needed the jobs done correctly that is what they finally did. The pecking order was extremely counterproductive and harmful. Literally, harmful. A dumb lifer has not business being in charge of much, especially if it is because he is devious. Making them warrant officers increased their pay, and kept them from falling under the idiot lifers.

Quickly, I will give you what else I learned. The military personel are lazy, poorly trained, and are generally not very well educated. If you were the average electrician on a ship, when you becaame a civilian, they knew you were not going to be a good worker.

They would be there on time, but they were used to a job with fake artificial deadlines, cronyism, and rank classes. They had long do nothing days in the military being jerked around by idiots, but they do not work very hard, and are barely productive. This does exist in civilian production work as well, but gets weeded out. The military jobs in aviation were not certified accept for maybe one piece of the helicoptor or one small area, not even recognized or able to cross over to an Airframe and Powerplant Certificate.

We surely cannot expect them to be an expert on aircraft repair, because they strapped a bomb on the bottom of planes, and swept and mopped floors until midnight. Sorry, civilians are needed for technical work, because most of these guys can't do it very well, except for those jobs that are not very necassary. Very few Airforce panseys are qualified and certified to repair aircraft. Civilians do that and have to. Same with vehicle engine and transmission repair. Overhalls of either are done by civilians. Billy buck borely can keep the General running, but not a complex wave supercharged track vehicle.

We just don't need to waste any money stealing oil rights for British Petroleum and Dutch Shell, just so they can give some money to our politicians to repress us into being stupid for them. The rest is nitpicking. Soldiers are generally dumb and lazy, so try not to employ them at all. Let the Brits send their people in to steal. We do it for them and pay for it. That is the problem with this country, not who gets paid enough to be retained. Few need to be retained in my mind. The high ranking idiots are all retained.

Military jobs like radio repairmen are enlisted status. I agree, the officer pay scale is fine, but retention for the worker bees (enlisted) in high demand areas is definitely dropping in the past few years.
Look at IT jobs, IS, avionics, nuclear, or any technician job in general. These guys hit their end of service contract date after getting minimal pay for their trades and are given a much greater opportunity for personal growth on the outside. Here's a current pay chart:

When it comes down to getting replaced on the field, it wont be the officers giving up their jobs, they've had enough schooling/brainwashing, it will be the expendable enlisted guys. Companies mentioned, like Raytheon, KBR etc. selectively target and recruit out of the military's own infrastructure and then bill us while using some of our best assets. These assets are our enlisted personnel that we have neglected.

So the bigger question arises. Why do we let this happen? Why do we have military sitting on their thumbs out there under a guise of "serving our country" when their purpose is outsourced?
Obviously these contracts that are made delegate a bigger picture of what we are doing out there. Follow these trails and you'll find more answers, but I have a bad feeling it's going to be a bumpy road.

To me, it all reeks of greed. Nothing out there our country stands for now echoes what our history's premise was based upon. Our forefathers would be ashamed.

Yup, yes, yah, and wee! Not that everything framed within contractor waste is the only thing worth addressing. The military is extremely wasteful all by itself. I don't agree that military officer pay is in question as compared to some contractor jobs. Soldiers are allowed to fight, where some civilians are not, and I suspect some of these radio repair men were slotted to move up to an infantry position, while civilians did the soldier's job. They must avoid the draft, so they will any way they can. In general nothing is happening there anyway.

It is a military. Contractors that carry weapons and use them are worth quite a bit to me, and some are hard to find, so comparing their job to an Army clerk or accounting officer is not worth the effort to complain about or differentiate. It seems petty, and an intentional distraction to me.

For me the real question is why are we paying so much to the British contractors, and letting them disinform us and help their paid for politicians in this country make both of them rich? There is a serious problem with this that dwarfs the pay differential complained about by Greenwald. They helped lie to get us into this war, they fill our tv screens with BS icons, they corrupt our soveriegn rights, and they need to go back to England.

That being said, I like them as individuals, and would serve with them, but the politics of it all is outright rediculous and costing me my rights, and all of us our money, not the British any money. that is outright foolishness.

It was interesting watching Mr. Kingston squirm and evade facts into off topic rhetoric. At the end of the hearing he says he's "with them" in their pursuit to uncover these profiteering issues, but it comes off so half-hearted. It's very typical behavior that I would expect from high status positions in our society. Talk is cheap however, and I would be interested in what the follow up was from this on his end.

Unfortunately, I believe that "winning" something like this would be a very difficult battle. It would require the complete reconstruction of society since so many ties at the top are corrupted. Even our president and secretary of defense claim plausible deniability. The president dodges the topic with jokes and the SoD responds with "some ongoing investigation is happening..." and that's all we're left with. It's outright insulting.

At least weasal Kingston admits that the troops are underpaid and that they lack the intellect to discern patriotism from economic servitude. Rep. Jack Kingston, should resign his post and work for FOX News. He's great at spinning debates around instead of staying on the topic at hand. You can almost hear his anti-semtic spin in his commenatry about democrats and Barbara Streisand. I'm sure this man will move up his party ladder rather quickly in the years to come, it's just to bad he blinds himself from the truth of war profitering that is happening around him. How much money is he putting in his pocket or the pockets of his "superiors"?
