It all boils down to what Reagan did in 1988 bowing to pressure from the right: "Abolishing the Fairness Doctrine". This allowed channels like Fox News and Rush Limbaugh to exist. Ninety two percent (92%) of radio talk show hosts are right wing persuasion. Public airwaves belong to the public and the fairness doctrine must be restored. Insist that the presidential candidates promise to restore the fairness doctrine and to bust the 5 media monopolies which control our thought process.

I believe it's actually the website of a group of spoiled emotional twelve year olds who may eventually grow up and become logical responsible adults. But I doubt it!

I'm neither a liberal nor a right-winger. What I am is an American with common sense. My common sense tells me that almost all of major media oulets line themsleves up with a certain political agenda/ideology. Unfortunately the most abhorent of these is Fox/Faux News. I find in the end that is is neither real news or all that entertaining. However there are those that do; it is these people who so venomently oppose any dissent of their news channel (faux news). Unfortunately it has been my experience that most of these folks are of a sheep mentality, they would follow these ultra right wing ideologs into the gates of hell if asked to. Oh!! Thats right they've already sentus down that path..The last eight years have been absolute hell for America in so many ways. We have had our rights infringed, we have made the world hate us more than at any other time in our history, we are in an a war that is killing our troops and innocent Iraqi civilians hundred or thousand fold of our own losses, We have an administration who so allies itself with energy companies that they have made greater progits than any time in their history, we have engaged in illegal and immoral activities that have left people scared for life and forced some individuals to engage in activities that they know are illegal and immoral but feel powerless to go against. The list goes on. The people who watch fox some how don't realize all these facts or do and attribute it to GWOT and the need to make America secure. Same was said by a person we all hate in Germany about 70 years ago as he rose to power and sent the world into a horrible period of war that consumed tens of millions of lives. Yes I have no problem with comparing GW as he is so nicely called by his fanatics to Adolf Hitler. I call it as I see it and both of these people are pure evil in disguise of nationalism. Interestingly Hitler controlled the media first Hmmmmm Faux News????maybe. Sorry I ranted for a while but it has to be said and it has to be said over and over again until the truth drowns out the lies that have been perpetrated onto the American public.

They have Michelle Malkin who uses words like "petard" without knowing the meaning. When she was asked what a petard was she said, "look it up".

That was hillarious! That was the entertainment value of FAUX News. I knew she did not know the word and it was funny. She is even funnier when you think that she came on the scene when FAUX was trying to appear more "diverse". Oh, so funny!!!

Boycotting a business or asking that it change its position is certainly a tool that the right wing, religious right, etc., have used. No one is trying (or is able) to require they not do it. People are simply expressing their personal opinion. This is not Nazi behavior. Nazi behavior would be things like torturing prisoners, slowly undermining and taking away personal rights, hatred of gays, minorities, other religions, etc.

Yeah those darn business putting up fox news! I guess they just decided to put up the MOST POPULAR news channel so most of the people would like to watch it.

televisions, I propose a concerted effort to contact these establishments and let them know of our concerns.
