All this fighting between the so-called Left and Right is really disturbing to me. I'm surprised we aren't having a civil war here in the U.S. If people from the Left all wore square hats, and the Right wore triangular hats, I think there would be car bombings on a regular basis. Issues have become so twisted and contorted that nobody seems to even know what they disagree about, it's just "Liberal Kool-Aid drinking" this and "goose stepping fascist" that. "What was the issue"? This country is falling apart faster than a house of cards because we can't stop fighting amongst ourselves. Stop, take a breath, and look at what's going on. It's really funny to see how two sides are fighting each other on this page. As a person from foreign country a just want to mention a few things.
1. Did you know that if you travell from Europe to the US you have fil in some kind of formula where there's personal information about you. Inculding your bank account!!! What the **** they think they are? I will never ever give a foreign government the exanct information about my bank account, because it's non of their business. So much for the erasing of human rights.
2. About the right wing republicans in the US. The worst thing they've done, is that they perverted left wing economic policy by founding a job creating program by giving people jobs in the army. Just to make their supporters in the arms industry happy.
3. Yes it's right faux news (Funny: did you know that faux means wrong in frensh?) is an intollerant "tv" broadcast. But in my opinion it's the right on of the political right to establish something like this (I wouldn't call it TV, because it's just propaganda). They have this right, because it's the freedom of speech, one of the most important civil rights. The reaction of the left should be in my opinion to answer this with a broadcast where just left-wing politicans are able to speak as long as they want to and right-wings are screamed at, when tey start to attack the left, no I'm just kidding please don't fall that deep. What I think is necessary in the US (and so did already write it on this page) is an indepedant state-run TV broadcast, with no private financial support behind it. With indepedant I mean that the government has give them the money they need (and this is exantly the money which is given the government by the population of the US through a divestiture) and they, the government don't have the right to influence what's being broadcasted in any way. As long as this braodcast brings up an politically well-balaced broadcast. And the only one who could stop this company from braodcasting something, is the supreme court. Maybe it would be a good thing to take a look over the great "Pond" (german saying for the atlantic ocean) and to start to learn.
