I just saw this on you tube about the motorola radio problem. Did any body think that the problem wasn't the radios, but with the repeater that the radios were using at the time of the attack of the twin towers. Does any body know were the communication repeater were kept in New York City, or were they in one of the towers, maybe in the one with the antenna on it. By those planes cashing into the tower, the repeater for the FDNY would lost power. That would cut communication between the fire fighters. That's why fire fighters didn't hear the command to get out. But seven years before the attack, the radios didn't work, but didn't motorola have close relationship with New York City? Why didn't New York City have a service contact with motorola? I hope New York City can solve this problem with motorola soon. His greatest stupidity was placing the Control Center in the WTC against expert advice to place it in a bunker in Brooklyn, where it is now. This blunder, made to bolster his own ego, contributed to the failure of fire department communications on 9/11.

In addition, he insisted on having the rubble from the WTC site removed even before all the lost firefighters (and other victims) from the WTC were found, so their bodies now reside in the dump to where the 9/11 rubble was taken and the possibility of recovery of the bodies forever made impossible.

Thank you for this latest investigative report. As "devil's advocate", a few questions spring immediately to mind after viewing this video:

1. Did personnel using the motorola radios conduct their own "unofficial" field testing of the radios (if so, inclusion of that fact may add to Giuliani's negligence, if not I'm left wondering "why not?")?

2. Why do reports like this, extremely powerful in content, never seem to be included in mainstream media reports (if they have, I haven't seen them - if they haven't, would you mind investigating ABC, CBS and NBC to help us understand why BNF's reports aren't headlined)?

3. Are petitions signed by non-NYC residents valid in NYC?

I am amazed at the the wealth of information and insight that comes from the viewers who take time to comment on the Real Rudy.To cover up criminal negligence is a serious crime itself.The faulty radios led to the death of many heroic firefighters.With proper communication they could have saved many of the people in the towers and themselves.Did controlled demolition play any part in the towers coming down?

I signed the petition. Though I do not live in NYC now, I worked in NYC from 1988-92 and lived in the Tri-State area (NY/NJ/CT) for much of the decade that followed. This candidate runs on 9/11 as if he were a savior. The truth needs to come out, because it involves the business of government and the preparedness of important first responders to any major crisis.

I agree with all the comments; but in addition to Giuliani administration, I want to know what the FDNY leadership was doing. I am a little familiar with how city contracting is done and I am pretty sure there was procurement committee with representatives all the affected departments in charge of writing the bid, overseeing and evaluating the responses, and awarding the contract. So was there such a committee? If so, what were the FDNY representatives doing?

Sure, Giuliani is uncaring and incompetent; he would never last in any respectable private sector outfit, assuming he would get hired at all. But in this respect, he is not really different from the average politician, who is much more capable of getting a job than of actually performing it.

Our fellow contributors who lambaste him, and rightly so, for his probable complicity in 9/11, ought to keep in mind that no presidential candidate has taken the stance of denouncing 9/11 as the bad-taste farce that any discerning high-school kid knows it to be. For some reason, they don’t want to denounce the deep corruption that directed 9/11’s execution and promise to clean up the Augean stables if elected.

Also, the fact that Giuliani is ultimately responsible for NYFD’s radio fiasco tells us less about him than about New York’s public services: how do hundreds of public servants put up with that crap? Why don’t they do what people would do in any well-managed corporation: stand up to useless managers and pressure them to either shape up or get out, even at the risk of losing their own jobs? Why do they go along with the corruption and keep their eyes on the prize of their cushy retirements instead?

Remember that La Guardia could not reengineer New York’s government alone; he had to start with massive firings, and a point could be made that he did not fire enough people associated with Tammany Hall. Giuliani’s role in 9/11 is only a symptom of a much bigger problem, whose resolution requires much more than a presidential change.
So, fine; together with Brave New Films, let’s get Giuliani off the short list of top presidential candidates. But there will still be a long way to go before the U.S. government starts to serve the public.

On a lighter note, do we want a president that likes to dress in women's clothing? There are some cute pictures of Rudy in a dress that are not at all super-imposed. The presidency is about honor, democrates and republicans can agree on that. Dressing in drag is not honorable.

If I were the decision maker at the DNC or eventual Democratic nominee's campaign . . . Guiliani was out on the street with his cameraman on 9/11. He's a publicity hound. He was supposed to be on the job in a crisis, not acting for the cameras while others are left in charge. I don't think he knew the towers would fall or he wouldn't have put himself in harm's way. Recall when Guiliani ordered the West Nile Virus spraying? New Yorkers, including children, were going to the ERs because they were ill from being sprayed on directly. Guiliani's answer was a boast that he had been sprayed on seven times. He did nothing to find out what was happening. It turned out that the helicopter pilot was spraying a concentrated poison that in ten to one diluted form was not to be used closer than one quarter mile from any human habitation. The man doesn't listen.

While we're at it, maybe we should ask him why he shipped all the evidence off to China as quickly as he did.

If this investigation into the radios gets started, it could very well lead to new revelations as to what exactly brought those buildings down...particularly WTC #7!

I heard Romney say (in answer to a college student's question about the collapses on 9-11) that it isn't surprising that if you take a plane load of jet fuel and put it in those buildings that the resulting fire would melt the steel and the buildings would come down...exactly as they did. Romney said, basically, that he believes the official story about their collapse...BUT he doesn't explain WTC #7...that building wasn't inundated with jet fuel yet it collapsed very neatly into it's own footprint. Why Romney? Explain that one for us, would you?

I do not believe that any of this was an accident and I have long suspected that rudy was in on it, as I know the W administration was. Rudy had an emergency command center set up at 7 world trade center (the 3rd building brought down that day), but never used it! Why? What did he know? Thank you, Brave New Films, for, once again, opening our eyes, our ears and our consciousness to the real Rudy Giuliani: a politician motivated by greed, hubris, and power. He's not "America's Mayor" as he and his followers like to portray him. He's a fraud!

He is running on his handling of 9/11. If we do not want another disastrous, grandstanding liar in the White House, we must act now. We can't afford another 4-8 years of one who makes up the truth as he goes along. Between 9/11 and the useless bloodshed since, we've already lost too many good souls on all sides. We don't need another Bush, and since we have a Congress which won't impeach, it is more important than ever that we know what we are getting.

We hear a firefigher's dad asking "why is there such a deep unwillingness to find out the truth?'' This applies to all of 9/11. It's the biggest cover-up in history. 9/11 was an inside job, and the media won't touch it with a ten foot pole.

Guiliani has selected his role in 9/11 as the defining point for his career. It is, therefore, fair for us to find out what he really, really did - and that's what this investigation is all about.

I think if Rudy becomes president, finally maybe the trains will run on time! As a choreographer, I'm excited by the prospect of perhaps designing a new form of salute and a new style of march. I also see this as a boon for traditional artists, what with the thousands of Rudy statues to be placed at major intersections and the many wall-sized paintings to be commissioned of Rudy standing reasurringly before blazing skyscrapers.
