FOX News Porn

"Can you quote us SO not giving a shit?"

That was FOX's classy response to the half a million viewers who saw our FOX Attacks: Decency video.

Looks like we got to FOX this time, and it wasn't a debate about policy in Iran that did it, or a video displaying their racism, or even our coverage of their abject hypocrisy on environmental issues.

No, what got the attack dogs at FOX hungry and looking for flesh was none other than an expose of their smut peddling!  It makes sense in a way, because advertisers tend not to like their products being promoted between segments of soft porn. And a large part of their conservative base hates this as well, which might be why one Christian organization compared the way women were dressed on FOX to the manner in which "hookers" are attired.

So what did we do?

With the News Hounds help, we found enough FOX lasciviousness for a whole porn site!!  FOXNEWSPORN.com

Really, we did.  And it wasn't that hard to do. In fact, if you thought FOX Attacks: Decency was a glimpse into the lustful thoughts of your favorite FOX anchor, you ain't seen nothing yet.

Satire and parody aside, we think this is extremely objectionable, misogynistic content.  We still don't understand how FOX is allowed to call this "news."  So let's make this campaign count, and hit FOX where it hurts — their Fair and Balance Sheet.

Thousands of volunteers have been helping create a massive database of local FOX advertisers.  Now it's time to start calling them.  Pick one or two to call and ask them to please not advertise on a channel that shows Girls Gone Wild during prime time, and exploits women 24/7.  Let them know in very personal terms why this matters to you.

Here's a list of FOX advertisers near you.

And please let us know how it goes!  When you click on the 'call' or 'email' advertiser link, you'll get an example script, and a form where you can describe what happened.  Fill it out so we can all share information on how advertisers are reacting to the campaign.  Plus, others will be inspired to act and we can keep the pressure on these merchants of immorality.  Be creative make it personal and express how you feel.

I wonder why I'm not hearing (or reading) the female criticisms of foxnoise.

    Odd.
  • Ok that was really weird, thats not typically something you will see on TV??? Porns really getting popular! :P
  • Adam
To much advertisment guys... don't you think? to much media...
  • Kevin B
I would laugh if it weren't for the fact that people still insist that Fox is in some way connected to actual journalism.
This little video is a great snippet of the "fair and balanced" network. They claim to report and let their viewers decide, but it is rather difficult for the average viewer to pay attention to what is being said while they are being bombarded by images of sexuality.
Perhaps this is why Bill OReilley maintains his viewership. After all, if you put him on mute, you get to stare at a boob for an hour.
  • LiberalLass
Geraldo even still has a '70s porn mustache! He & Billo must really get it on in their sex dungeon after watching some of that "B" roll...
Don't forget the safe word Geraldo..."Mizrahi!"
  • Tim Scanlon
Well done. Like my in-laws, while they deny sex they're preoccupied with it. o'lielly is a particular perve. Paid off any more staffers to shut up about phone sex these says, billy boy?
  • Kim K.
I wonder what Bill O'Reilly does while these videos play. He must get turned on somehow by these videos.
It would not surprise me if Bill-O is not the wholesome American 'family values' man he tries to pass himself off as!
  • Papamaxmacq
We as a family do not allow FOX TV to be viewed in our home. The unnecessary filth they publish in shows and on their news coverage during daytime and prime time hours is appalling and detrimental to family decency. It is a shame that our family does miss some of the good shows available on FOX TV but unlike FOX TV, we will not compromise our values and morals to please a few perverted people.
  • Doodie
No wonder why Fox casts such immoral programs. It's already immoral & so materialistic that wants to get money by any means, even by attacking & promoting porn!
  • jennifer liu
that's disgusting. gross. i've almost never noticed that though. omg! people r dying, n all they show is a stripper bar video. then think it's okay just because the stripper bar (or whatever) is in the same city or area. broadcasting porn really shouldn't be a way to get more people to watch their channel.

There is 'terrorism' right here in the States, and the Republifascists aren't doing a d*mn thing about it. Racism and bigotry are still here while Bush the Second is off playing 'let's have a war' in Iraq. Patriot groups, the Klan, and neo-Nazis commit acts of hate and terror against our own government and minorities, while fat cat Bushie on the Hill has a beer or two or three with Dicks**t Cheney..THE GOP IS WHO'S SENDING AMERICA TO HELL IN A HANDBASKET.

Raz you forgot the number one terrorist nation on earth the US. One million dead in Iraq solely due to our invasion; arms dealer to the world. You ask about 3 billion of the world's people what nation is a terrorist nation.

The war is lost. One does not measure success by the number of deaths; one measures success by whether a country uses peaceful and collaborative negotiations to solve disputes. We lost when we invaded based on lies and false pretenses solely to enrich the war profiteering friends of Bush and Cheney. We lost when we tortured, rendered and wiretapped. We lost, when we lost the respect and admiration of the world.
  • hooah
oh thanks for bringing this stuff up haha one JOHN KERRY NEVER CALLED OUR TROOPS TERRORIST NEVER! thats a flat out lie he said we should pull out so we dont have to start air raiding villages if your fucked up mind thinks thats calling our troops terrorist so be it your unfixable and you say we want to cut the funding for the troops we want them to get out of there thats what we want we want them to stop serving extra time under bush and being sent back 2 or 3 times under bush and the anti war movies are bombing not because they dont have a good message they just suck...your saying because we agree with what a movie says we should like it even though it was bad screen play and acting its fucking movie oh and that cant win crap to us getting the troops out safely without anymore casualties is winning
  • hooah
oh really probable cause here is probable cause for you one of my friends is a senior in HS and has his backpack and his phone searched without a warrant by a cop because a girl in his class was passing out alcohol and when she was busted they asked where she got it and she said " i dont remember, all i know is it was a black guy " and they pulled a random guy that was black out of the class searched though all his shit and his phone and didnt find shit there is ONE specific right violated and all the govt being able to read your email, books you checked out, and hold you in jail without a lawyer judge trial and for a uncertain amount of time because you might be linked to a terrorist organization
  • John Ehrenfeld
Why do you persist on personally insulting people? Don't change the subject. You said "if the government has reason to believe" . . . I addressed it specifically. Answer the question Raz. What does support terrorism mean? Who decides? Known war criminals and liars who torture and abuse the constitution?
  • John Ehrenfeld
What does support terrorism mean Raz? Does a reasoned belief that US policy contributed to us being attacked on 9-11 mean you support terrorism? Does intellectually supporting Hezbollah in their struggle for freedom from Israeli occupation and tyranny mean you support terrorism? Do Americans no longer have the right to "believe" whatever the hell we want.

And most importantly, who are we going to trust to make the call on what supporting terrorism means? Bush and Cheney? Two war criminals that have broken the law, defied the will of the American people? Tortured?

    Get real.
  • hooah
"ya school violence has dramatically decreased you just watch to much fox news...and no they don't need probable cause to search your car or your backpack or your phone or need a warrant and with the patriot act they can look at your email, books you check out, websites you look at and they can hold you FOR A UNCERTAIN AMOUNT OF TIME WITHOUT TELLING YOU WHAT YOU HAVE DONE, GIVING YOU A LAWYER OR EVEN TELLING ANYONE as long as they say he might have something to do with a terrorist theres your fucking government Raz" dont forget those rights Raz
  • TAH
There's a difference between disagreeing with someone and threatening to kill them for what they said.

You seriously cannot see that? I would like to see Billo strung up by his testicles on a meat hook for the crap he spews but I would never write him a letter threatening to do it to him. That, you see, would be a violation of the First Amendment.
  • gofox
    Thannk you fox
  • TAH
Yeah, sorry Raz they've got you there. It must be getting more and more difficult to defend the impossible to defend, but kudos to you for trying.

In response to your earlier question, "what freedom have we lost under Bush", let's start with the First Amendment and some well-known examples:
    1. A country band says they are ashamed Bush is from Texas, resulting in a public outcry, death threats etc.
    2. An 8(?) year old child asks Bush to allow a medical bill which helped him to recover from a critical car accident. His address is released by the White House resulting in death threats, etc.
    3. A 2 year old girl offers similar sentiments resulting in threats to her and her family.
    4. A democrat on the floor states his opinion that Bush kills Iraqies and American soldiers for his own amusement and is forced to apoligise.
    5. An international bridge champtionship team hold up a sign simply saying we didn't vote for Bush. They are forced to apologise and then later told that will not be enough.

In the meantime would you like me to list similar (and worse) comments made by those in support of Bush? And how many of those people have been forced to apoligise?
  • Lou Kaye
I too support the rights of adults to view and possess whatever reading and viewing material they wish...but Fox News promotes a self-righteous holier-than-thou characterization of themselves while casting the left or any opposition as heathenous libertines.

To practice what they preach is virtually impossible if you're human, but to pretend it is possible for others while you look the other way is not only disingenuous but evil. If you can't be fair and balanced - at least be true to yourself.....Fox News is none.

I think it would be even better if we can get real porn stars to picket Fox to draw attention to their hypocritical views, we need to keep their feet to the fire.
  • hooah

um, Raz, the crime rate has not gone up in schools. nice try, "hey, I'll just make stuff up as I go." Brilliant, just like Fox News. You're just as lost and brainwashed as the rest of the Neo-cons.

Here is why Outback Steakhouse will not pull it's ads. I found this quoted text on Wikipedia: The company and its founders are major contributors, via the Outback Steakhouse PAC, to the Republican Party, contributing $303,015 and $334,197 for the 2000 and 2004 election cycles, respectively.[4][5]. The Outback Steakhouse PAC itself is one of the largest donors in the food and beverage sector, second only to the National Restaurant Association, which itself represents 300,000 restaurants.[6]

OSI Restaurant Partners is a boycott target by Life Decisions International for funding associated with Planned Parenthood.

So forget trying to get Outback to do the right thing-- Local or National they support Fox.
  • John Ehrenfeld
Raz why do you support a pornographic organization that broadcasts smut into your home all day. Did you watch the video? Do you approve of the gratuitous, sexual footage that FOX shows? ABC was fined 7 million dollars for Janet Jackson's accidental 1/4 second Super Bowl faux pas. What FOX shows is much worse isn't it? I didn't realize you endorsed smut and pornography being seen by children. Shame on you Raz.
  • hooah
Raz your a idiot bottom line what freedoms? the patriot act????? ya there you go and now at schools they can go through your backpack go through your phone and your car without a warrant there you go maybe no YOU but people...now i know you dont care about other people but we do

    Patrick Brown notes thus:

I appreciate what you are doing with your videos - however you are using the same language the right uses.

They have mastered the vocabulary and structure and by using the same approach you are fighting a losing battle and playing their game.

I, for one, say "It's time."

Time to play the same games as the Far Right for once, and see what their reactions are.

Too, we need to remember that "eternal vigilance is the price of liberty"; I think you're doing The Right Thing to take issue with Fox and challenge them.
  • I appreciate your work in bringing out the truth regarding FOX's practices. I watched Outfoxed and was very impressed. However, keeping the false left-right paradigm is FOX's biggest sin and you are not helping lift the veil on that. Please analyze FOX's abominable censorship and negative spin on the only real patriot in this election race. Ron Paul has been insulted by all corporate media, due to his position on the Federal Reserve and the corporate welfare state (war machine, big pharma, etc.). His money and support is in line with all the candidates getting FOX's attention, but he is considered a "second tier" candidate.

Check the records, he's the only one of the frontrunners from either party that actually disagrees about anything!

Thanks again for your hard work.

    Marc

Nobody has more contempt for Fox News than I do. And I consider myself not just a progressive, but a proud LIBERAL.
However, I think this attack on Fox for "porn" is ill-advised at best. One of the reasons I supprt Democrats and loath the Bush Administration is my firm belief in the rights of adults to view and possess whatever reading and viewing material they wish...something the Bushies and their Christianist supporters want to take away from us.
You are just playing into the hands of the anti-sex, pro-censorship crowd and encouraging them to take away yet more of our freedoms...like we haven't lost enough already.
I have supported all your other initiatives against Fox, but this one is just stupid and counter-productive and I won't support it.
  • freespeeeech
Somehow some people have come to believe that protecting porn is protecting our civil liberties. Porn has nothing to do with political speech, the right to pander is what has eclipsed our right to protest. The fact that commercial broadcaster monopolize the broadcast spectrum is what prevent our right to speak out. Commercial broadcasters only solicit paid speech, not free speech. The right to broadcast, the right to airtime, the right to speak freely, not peddle porn is what the first amendment was written to protect.
  • roman jones
You might consider adding violence into the FOX profile. The only time I watch FOX is to watch sports but I cannot invite my sons to watch
baseball or football as when FOX cuts to commercial, it usually has something to do with guns, shootings, bombs, violence and on occasion, they will run
video game promos that might feature a pimp character pushing a prostitute out a window etc.

Perhaps they should be called the GUN network.

This seems even worse: last night I watched a teaser for Fox News at 10 in New York. They showed photos of cops in uniform hanging around with scantily dressed Hooters Girls. Here's the amazing voiceover, salaciously voiced:
"Cops in uniform hanging around with Hooters Girls? What did they do with their guns?? They didn't do THAT, did they?!? Watch Fox News at 10 for the whole story."

This is our local Channel 5 news station. I couldn't believe it. Imagine if some Hollywood joint did this?
  • Fox advertisers don't seem to give a shit either. I think we need to picket in front of their businesses.
  • Patrick Brown
    Hello,

I appreciate what you are doing with your videos - however you are using the same language the right uses.

They have mastered the vocabulary and structure and by using the same approach you are fighting a losing battle and playing their game.

If you really want to be radical then continue to be original in your words as well as your visual vocabulary.

Thanks for all you do and your fine intentions.

    Sincerely,
    Patrick V. Brown
