Send Bill O’Reilly Back to School

It's back-to-school time! Parents are starting to shop for their children's school supplies: notebooks, pencils, crayons, and of course, Bill O'Reilly's book, "The O'Reilly Factor for Kids." Talk about one of these things being NOT like the others!

O'Reilly thinks he can teach our children proper behavior, and we can't think of a worse father figure than an angry, hate-filled shock jock notorious for telling guests to "Shut up!" We wondered what would happen if kids read O'Reilly's book and then saw the real O'Reilly for themselves. So we put together a video to illustrate O'Reilly's duplicity.

O'Reilly's bullying antics show he never learned the lessons the rest of us were taught in school. Send this video to all the teachers, parents, parents-to-be, and anyone who has contact with kids, and don't forget to Digg it! Tell us what your teachers taught you that O'Reilly should have learned about how to be a responsible grown-up, or what your kids' teachers have taught them. We'll put all your suggestions together and send the list to O'Reilly at FOX News.

It's bad enough O'Reilly spews hate-filled lies on his shows to grown-up audiences, do we really want our children to be exposed to the same behavior? Do we really want this angry adult influencing our kids? While we only subjected the kids in our video to a few minutes of O'Reilly in order to prevent permanent damage, imagine the harm his children's book could do!

    oreilly: the hypocrisy factor...
  • John Truth
Bill' O The Clown and his twin brother Rushare old school hate mongers who don't have a place in a modern world. They are the very type who would wear a hood and white robe. The are racist and sexist with pervert thrown in to the mix. Boycot any sponser who supports these jerks. Fox news is a complete farce and should be avoided by any thinking person. If you want lies and spin they are your people to watch.
  • Jenifer
There is no right or wrong when it comes to opinions.
  • patricia
I would first like to state that I am liberal ( this should not be considered a dirty word). I believe that there is far too much hate in this world. I don't think someone that is a complete bully (such as O'Reilly) should be influencing our Children. We should all be teaching on a daily basis to accept others and that anger is never the answer. Being a bully only makes you less credible as far as I'm concerned. I wish for a better future, don't we all?
  • Ginger
Can you possibly believe that all the liberalism taught in the schools is helpful to children?
Do you condone teachers having sex with school children?
Do you think all the childish, rude, ignorant behavior exhibited by liberal congresspersons on the floor is a good example for children?
Do you think Al Gore telling kids they 'instinctively' know more than their parents is good?
Do you think tax evaders and other criminals running the Country is a good example for children?
Do you think this encourages children to cheat & lie?

Man, you are really off base!
  • mike
Thank goodness there is this website. Im really happy that people realize how bias fox news is. Bill oreally is nothing more than a @55 who has his own tv show. I just wanted to thank everyone for supporting this website. Its about time fox gets put up on front street.
  • Military Momma
    thanks again "Student"
your intelligent, thought provoking differences are refreshing and would be the first from the left on this blog.
  • Military Momma
    Dearest Student,
Thank you for your constructive arguement. But do you realize in your arguement you have proven my point? Most of the people writing on this blog are much, more hateful and bitter because people don't agree with them so much more than I have ever heard Bill O'Rielly. We all have our opinions but it is only wrong when the mud slinging starts and the real issues and dialog are negated.Lets try to stay on the issues people.
  • Military Momma
    Dearest Delirium Dylan,
I can't stand the Dixie chick(as can't most of us hillbillys in the south)after their malious comments they made about our President while over seas. SHAMEFUL. It funny how you find yourself so enlightened and totally missed my point by a "country mile." Did you get my point?
Wrong again on all the stats w/ the execption of the demographics. What's the matter does yourwife boss you around?you little weak yankee boy? Maybe you can meet your boyfriend ater work and he can make you feel like a real man again.
  • docwillis
"I can't stand the Dixie chick(as can't most of us hillbillys in the south)after their malious comments they made about our President while over seas. SHAMEFUL."

While the loony right-wing fruits and nuts at "teaparties" are comparing Obama to hitler...

    Hypocrites.
  • Military Momma
    Dearest Neive Nicholas,
So sorry that correcting grammatical errors is as deep as you go. Sounds like a typical Lib.
Gator Man keep up the good fight.
Right That..you rock too. Lets keep all these mindless, zombies on the run..this is fun ..don't forget your gun. hhhuuu-rrraaahhh
  • Geoff
Why don't we tell the kids that Uncle Bill paid hundreds of thousands $ to a female director of his TV program who unjustly accused him of sexual harassment after Uncle Bill said he was going to fight it all the way ?
  • BTW if you prefer lies and propaganda go watch
MSNBC or NBC. Their blatant fabrication of the
news is well documented. Perfect for the sheep
    of the left.
  • Right That
Right Nicholas, any view point different than yours
is hateful. You are a pathetic display of humanity. Try and use your brain for once instead
of acting like a five year old. I can't wait til
Obama is president and he runs the US right into
the ground, that'll finally put a stake thru the heart of disgusting liberalism once and for all.
  • Nicholas Carr
    Hey Gator Man,

Next time you have a point too make, try making it while spelling your own party affiliation correctly. It's conservative...not conservitive. I have a family of 5 and I work hard every day for the money to raise my kids. You are not the sole keeper of responsibility or love for your family simply because you are an ignorant republican. Though clearly you are in sole possession of your grammatical ignorance. Not surprising. Go spew hate on a site that fosters your fears.
  • Dylan Hughes
I really hope you aren't endorsing the dixie chicks! They are quite possibly the worst people ever. And republicans rock? I can almost bet you are a middle aged, upper middle to upper class women from the south.
  • Dylan Hughes
    Military Momma,
Your right, O'reilly's show is VERY highly rated. And so were Brittney Spears' cds, were they good. Hannah Montana was the highest grossing concert tour this past year, was that good? Not at all
  • Military Momma
    Dearest Gerpie,
You sound really nice however you are dead wrong. Again, I challenge you to point out specifics and not these VERY broad generalizations. Let me guess..Gore 2000 /Kerry 04 and Obama 08?
However you cut it his show is still #1 most watched program on Cable television. Capatalism at its best.
  • Jim
Oh the left is doing such a great job at not telling us what is realy going on Obama is an idiot
  • Jim
Oh the left is doing such a great job at not telling us what is realy going on Obama is an idiot
  • Lets see Liberal/Democrats want to divide, conservitives want to unite. Libs = Blame others, consevitives = take responsiblity. Libs give, give and give my hard earned taxes to people that have done NOTHING to earn it. Conservitives Work for your money. Conservitive = Self Responsibilty
That is all Bills book is about. TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF. Government was set up in the Constituion to PROTECT and LEAVE US ALONE!!! Liberals want all control...!!!! so they give entitlements to control votes...
  • Right That
Military momma is right. I guarantee you that in
the future the current "liberal movement" will
be viewed the same way the Nazis are viewed -
total astonishment that humanity could act in
such a dispicable manner all in the name of
    progressing humanity.
  • Military Momma
If you want someone who is hateful and a race bater how about Obama's Rev. Wright or Nancy Pelosi or how about "Jessie I want to cut his nads off Jackson" ...now that is hate. Could someone please have some content to there critizisms or are you just going to spew out the same old bile you here from all the people who think America is so darn aweful.
God Bless America, Bill O'Reilly and George Bush.
And if you don't like it ..well then that will give you something else to whine about:)
    Oh goodie!
  • Military Moma
Are you scared of the Bush words"Accountablity for your actions". John Adams I am certain would be proud of Bill and Bush.
You guys are a bunch of pit bulls attacking anybody that does not jive with your way of thinking. What.. and this from Peace Loving Libs..
    give me a break.
  • Military Momma
If you complainers would educate yourselves a little more and not just pat your little constituants on the back on these blogs and say how righteous you are in condeming a man you know little or in fact NOTHING about. Attack him on the issues if you can find them and not just these random rants about no paticular subject. Does it make you feel better about yourselfs to condem a man thats worse crime is holding his fellow Americans to a higher standard?
  • Military Momma
He is passionate about his work and if that scares you then I would hate for you to have been around when Steve Spurrier was coaching the Gators and brought them Victory.. ooooh scary. But I digress, I challenge anyone of you to find something that Fox New or Bill Oreilly has done to Attack Kids..you ding dongs. These little 2sec tidbits are just pain laughable. Just a bunch of puppets the hole bunch of you. Please think for yourself.
  • Military Momma
This entire article is a joke...excuse me while I laugh uncontrolalby.(hah, hah, hee, hee hoo, hoo) Advise..Dont be a hater. I watch Bill every chance I get. Love the show love Fox news.
  • reasonable in middle
Who cares what the bible says?
The Right is a slave to religion and
the Left is a slave to ego.
    Whatever happenned to common sense?
  • DM
echoing "All egotrips end a horrible death.." the Bible sums up the proud, and Mr O'Reilly:
Proverbs 16:18 Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.
  • Deb
Granted, Bill O’Reilly's ego is enormous. But, what Bill doesn't seem to know is that "ego is inversely proportional to self esteem". He fails to realize that he is trumpeting his lack of self esteem. If he had a modicum of self-respect or self-awareness, he would curb his rage and behave like a gentleman instead of a petulant child. Most enlightened people understand that this guy is just a buffoon on a bully pulpit.
  • reasonable in middle
If you want to be better person, try humbling
yourself and base your thoughts, feelings and
actions on truth not ego, bias or propaganda.
YOU are responsible for YOUR life. It's easy to
be a slave to one's ego. it takes true strength,
goodness and intelligence to seek the truth
    however.
  • James McLeod
Reasonable in middle, aren't you being negative by making people feel bad about themselves for even saying how they feel about something they believe in. We ARE better people for stating these opinions, because that's what will keep us from being shallow robots.
  • James McLeod
Please, people are only venting their frustration with the close minded one sided person O'Reilly is. They are not exuding hate, they are just trying to remove negativity from a hypocritical moron, who believes that what he says can change the world. Noone wants to literally kill or harm this man I'm sure, but noone wants to be brainwashed by his stupid remarks either.
  • Connie Snyder
Give Bill a break...he's only doing what his MASTER tells him to do. HA-ha. His ratings keep sliding, thank goodness. Even the dumbest of the dumb are beginning to tire of his sideshow.
  • Alexandra
Bill O'reily I will never read your book. Please go to anger mangement.
  • Robb Tucker
The truth is the best antiseptic against a virus like O'Reilly. Spreading the true nature of this person should be done, so that others may learn what he's like. And a boycott of sponsors is a heck of a good idea, too - for O'Reilly and any of the other hate-filled shock jocks that infest our airwaves.
  • TheCityOnFilm
Most kids already know to not judge based on color, how can this grown man be so ignorant. Why do people give him the time of day
  • Suzanne
Well I can't afford to trade in my Toyota, but we will not be eating Subway, Yoplait or buying BP gas. And I will write to them and FOX telling them so.
  • James
All egotrips end a horrible death..

    I agree.
  • Beatrice DuPont
I watched Fox news a few weeks ago and wrote down some of their advertisers below. There needs to be a consensus of which one is boycotted first. Should we do this alphabetically or by category, like food, cars, electronics or entertainment?

    Budweiser
    Cheerios
    Disney Works
    Dodge
    Empire City-Yonkers Raceway
    Hyundai
    Jeep Vehicles
    Mazda
    PC Richard & Son
    Shop Rite
    Subway Sandwiches
    T-Mobile
    Toyota
    Yoplait
  • Julianne Gustafson-Lira
The only message that our capitalist-money-hungry-elite understand is when their moneys are messed with. YES. LET US BOYCOTT. Choose one and lets go after them. Let us know. Let me know.
  • GENE
Does anybody have a list of sponsers to boycott? I can't stand to watch faux news to see who sponsers them.
  • Henry Ickes
Isn't it obvious? Let's agree on which of his sponsors we can boycott, and get him where it really hurts. The only thing he understands besides bullying is money, and we can be non-violent and deny him that.
  • Todd McKeone
It's sad that we allow men like O'Reilly to be relevant at all. He embodies so many of the traits that are dragging this country's reputation down throughout the world.
  • Joan Hildal
O'Reilly really doesn't deserve the time it takes to fill in this form. Remember in grade school that the best thing to do with bullies was to ignore them. You give them no attention and they just fade into oblivion. Well, the case is true whether they are 6 or 60. Just ignore him, and all the other talk show idiots on FOX but make absolutely sure you BOYCOTT their sponsors.
  • James Hand
the true identifying factor to define an idiot is that the idiot must be totally unaware that he/she IS an idiot. and not only is O'Reilly a bully, he is a first degree idiot.
  • Sally
As a teacher, I find Mr. O'Reilly, especially as portrayed in your video, to be the perfect example of hypocrisy. Maybe I will get the book and conduct a lesson of my own with my 8th graders this fall. 13-years-olds tend to call 'em as they see 'em and I'm sure they will have some advice of their own for him about how to teach proper behavior!
  • Mark
Remember, all television and radio programs are ENTERTAINMENT. There no need for facts or righteousness. If you agree with Mr. O'reilly's positions you'll cheer and praise him. If you disagree with with the people he has on his show you'll be aggravated. If you pay attention, he gets his guests to a point of controversy and then feeds on it. Bottom line, you are being entertained, fed controversy and distorted truths that excites you, and so you watch or listen.
You are simply (very simply ) being entertained not educated.
  • Patty
We find Mr. O'Reilly's lies, spite, arrogance, and manipulation of the media so offensive to our intelligence and that of others that we have decided to boycott his advertisers and NEVER, for any reason watch fox. It is sad to know that many people are still following this stupid, ignorant, angry, negative, sloppily edited show.
  • Anne Kennedy Rackham
My parents taught me to listen, and then respond to what has been said. Mr. O'Reilly does neither. His questions are phrased such that, usually, there is no rational response. He can only be controlled by pandering to his base nature or stroking his overblown ego (I just threw up a little - an involuntary reaction).
  • reece Howey
if your grammar is any indication of your intelligence, i think you should leave the thinking to the educated
  • Judy Frank
Bill O'Reilly is the only commentator to tell it like it really is. Thank god we finally got someone from the news media to stand up to the far left loons that pretend to do the news without prejudice.
  • Bluesplayer
I'd rather buy Michael Jackson's book on child-rearing.
  • John
It seems that we as well as these kids are being fed a carefully edited outtake. I wonder who among us could survive this kind of editing without being painted as ANYTHING the editor wished to paint us as. Anyone who does not recognize this should "go back to school". Your being deceived
  • Mary
Another thought: his parents never taught him manners or he seems to have forgotten them as an adult. Shame on you B. O'R. (B.O'Re) Yes that is a good use of his initials.
  • Diane Wormood
You kiss you family with that mouth?
  • Mary
Yes Bill O'Reilly is definitely a bully, he must have such low self-esteem to constant do battle with everyone he has on his show. He is so too-faced, it is sickening. His manners are "off the wall". He is one mean, stupid person, who only wants to hear himself. His lack of manners is appalling. That book he is about to publish is such a farce - he doesn't live by his own rhetoric. He is absolutely intolerable and I don't watch him at all. Just if I happen to be "surfing past when commercials are on."
  • Maggie
It seems to me that Stephen Colbert is taking care of O'Liely. Maybe the rest of us can focus on Hannity. He's just as stupid and despicable.
  • Maggie
It seems to me that Stephen Colbert is taking care of O'Liely. Maybe the rest of us can focus o Hannity. He's just as stupid and despicable.
  • Boppy
I have only watched or listened to O'Reilly a few times (too polite to tell companions to turn him off). The best thing anyone can do about this man is nothing. He is not even worth mentioning anymore.
  • Jeff Kishman
O'Reilly is a very dangerous hypocrite....
  • John
Bill O'Reilly and his kind of television are major components of what's wrong with our darling U.S. of A. Much too shallow, far too narrow, totally irresponsible.
  • We Need To Win
Billo The Clown #2 - you are far worse than Bill OReilly for saying what you just did. Moron.
  • billo the clown #2
i hate O'reilly i am dreaming of the day fox news reportes bill o'reilly was shot between the eyes today death was slow an verry painfull no one will miss this ass hole an are glad to see him off the air an off the earth thank god
  • D. Floyd Swanson
Bill O'Reilly,Do you use X-LAX for mouth wash? You should, it would help your I.Q,you don't seem to know which end to speak with.
    HAVE A NICE DAY,
  • Terrance Moore
To Bill O'Reilly, You need profesional help, because you are a sick disturbed little man. Good luck to you, your gona need it. Karma... oh boy...
  • Joe Coppoletta
Hopefully the FASCIST PIG, BILL O'REILLY will face his maker soon... then he can try to explain his non-stop spread of hate. Thew man is a very sick fuck.
  • harris Gaznavi
i want to feed your children to wild dogs and laugh at them while they die FUCK YOU BILL!
  • David Stetler
Asking guests to boycott "The O'Reilly Factor" won't work. They will then only have guests who agree with them. What WORKS is boycotting their ADVERTISERS!! Write them, call them , get in their faces!! Let them know that you will not tolerate such right wing propogandist TRASH!!!
  • Steven Stewart
I think Abby is really on to something here. If we petition potential guests to join us in a boycott of Fox News, we could have an impact.
  • Abby Ingraham
It's a wonder this country is still in one piece with people like O'Reilly having the megaphone. But ask yourselves this: What if no one went on his show? Believe me, that would shake up both O'Reilly AND Murdock. But no, people keep going on to rebute his stupidity and crassness so he keeps getting his paycheck. There needs to be a boycott of his show on the GUEST side of the equation, folks - no guests, no show. No show, no paycheck. No paycheck , No O'reilly. It really IS that simple...
  • Howard
The best thing Bill O'Reilly could do is to resign from Fox and seek mental health treatment. O'Reilly is an overbearing, overly self-important, pompous, loud-mouth BULLY. Get lost permnanently, Bill! FOX NEWS is the lowest of the low -- a bunch of slick-talking, deceitful, manipulative bastards!
  • Roger Hannah
FOX is a disgrace and should not be allowed to spread their propaganda under the guise of news coverage. They are the media branch of the right wing republican party and that's how their broadcasts should be labeled. What they present is not news, they are talking points for the republican party. This network should be ashamed of themselves and the lies and bigotry that they help to spread and incourage. FOX is Wrong!
  • Steve
Bill O'lielly needs to go back to entertainment tonight! He's a blowhard that I will not watch!
  • Clair Touby
Mr. O'Reilly, Please, wear the Fox hat.
(this is not a suggestion; it describes you ability to reason)
  • Michael Lyga
As a public high school science teacher (that in itself should make conservatives reading this squirm!), I had many 15-year-olds in class who acted with more maturity and common sense that O'Reilly has ever exhibited, and I was always very proud of them. But Bill needs to be enrolled in a remedial manners course!
  • truehunt
if i want to hear anymore of this kind self important loud talk, all i have to do is step into most bars and find someone with a few drinks in them spouting off half baked opinions as though they were an oracle to mankind. This is Bill O'Reilly: a legend in his own mind and obsessed with his self-perceived brilliance! No different that a person with opinions with a loud mouth in a bar. No need for accuracy, facts, truth, intelligence… just conjecture, allusion, personal musings, prejudice, a huge ego, belligerence, and insecurity one can see a mile away.
  • truehunt
Hypocrisy and outright inaccuracy are very evident in mr. o'reilly's statements and behavior...The snippets are indeed condemning since they are very representative of the context in which they are delivered - and, yes, I believe in context so I read transcripts, use YouTube and or "watch the tape". You actually might do it yourself some time so you might have better understanding of someone who you apparently blindly listen to. his arrogance, self-absorption, obvious inability of self examination make him nothing more than someone with loud opinions and a big mouth.
  • truehunt
vicki and b billow (and others with an obviously terrific ability for denial and self-delusion - two ingredients to listen to Bill O'Reilly as though he were credible): i have watched O'Reilly off and on for many years... not in the past few, however, since there is only so much time one can waste – especially once someone as shallow, weak and venomous as mr. o'reilly exhausts his repertoire.
  • Dustin
    Bill Oreily is an idiot.
  • Dustin
this is too vicki's post about electorial college: if this worked the way the constitution set up too, the popular vote would be the electorial college vote, seeing how they are reps for the states.
  • Mary
I simply can't bear to watch Bill O'Reilly....his rudeness and stupid comments are unbearable. I for the life of me cannot understand how anyone can watch him and take it seriously!
  • Joey
"Shut up!" That one is for Vicki...it is just my passion showing.
  • Carlos J. Echevarria
Billo the Clown is the dark side to Walter Cronkite in the journalism profession.....what a damn shame, God help him!
  • Katie
We must remember there are many confused adults that is unable to lead by example. Mr. O'Reilly need some time out of the picture.
  • gloria pfeifer
Bill O'Reilly is the last person who should have any influence on kids....he is a bully, and practices shoddy and disreputable journalism...also he was mixed up in a sex scandal which he got out of by paying off the complainant...parents should steer their kids away from him..post haste !!
  • VICKI
    CORRECTION TO THE PREVIOUS POST.
    "2000 RECOUNT"
  • VICKI
THE POPULAR VOTE DOES NOT MATTER. PLEASE BE INFORMED THAT IT IS THE ELECTORAL COLLEGE THAT IS OUR SYSTEM OF ELECTING PRESIDENTS IN THE USA AND ITS WAS CREATED BY THE FOUNDERS OF OUR CONSTITUTION...STUDY MORE AND GET OVER IT.

The only language that slimebucket understands is a punch in the mouth!
    Anything else is a waste!

After his BS and sexual advances to a colleague at work he is the epitome of hypocrisy
How does such a dumbass keep a job in Television when the world is full of bright smart trained people raring to go to make a useful contribution?
    Sick
  • Michael Biel
Gore won the nationwide popular vote in 2000, and also won the Florida popular vote when all of the statewide votes were finally recounted in the summer of 2001. Several election officials in Ohio went to jail for manipulating the vote in the 2004 Presidential election. If we had an honest Justice Department there would have been more investigations of the vote counting irregularities. We will need more than luck in this election. We will need honest election officials and honest vote counting.
  • Vicki Davis
Oh and Linda let me guess. Gore 2000/Kerry 2004 and Barack 2008. Hope your luck gets better
this year. Whimps need not apply.
  • VICKI DAVIS
Linda, try listening to the show and maybe even you can gain some insight. Just because people get a little excited does not make them mean, bad, evil, wicked people. They are just passionate about an issue and for the most part what gets Bill riled is when people pick on kids or are liars. Stop listening to sound bites off this ridiculous site and gain some insight of your own. I am defending a man who has been unjustly accused and all you can do is muck around in the swill with the rest of them.
  • JENNY
    SHUT UP ORIELLY!
  • emintey
The only morals O'reilly has is personal ambition. He's a loud mouth baby. Ever hear the term "anal"?
  • PH
Maybe he really is the worst person in the world.
  • Cathy
its sad to me that you are so full of pain that you try and hurt other people all the time. O reilly in and out of context is out of touch with the basics of the golden rule...do unto others
  • M. Hill
Bill-o is a sick loser and should be taken off the air...even the unfair, unbalanced fox noise. Lets have a big old bon fire and rid this Country of his worthless rag of a "book"...
  • lumen
How discouraging this all is - and what a great lesson in adult human relations for the children this piece is supposedly about.
Each gang of grown-ups hurling increasingly bitter accusations, insults and threats at the other. And both armies blissfully unaware that their disagreement doesn't have a thing to do with Bill O'Reilly.... it's all about them.
Haven't the citizens of this country had their belly full of this stuff yet?
  • Linda
Regarding comments by VICKI DAVIS - Why does someone saying that their professor taught them something make you jump to the conclusion that they are a "hardcore liberal"? Interesting. Perhaps your own experience reflects a shortage of educated conservatives? Just want you to know that I personally know some people who are educated and still somewhat conservative. It's just that none of them would stoop so low as to listen to Bill O'Reilly! Maybe your comment should have said "hardcore intelligent"!
  • Shag
As a former school principal, I don't want to your perverted ass anywhere near a school. There are enough anger issues, with numerous young people, without having you there to set a terrible example.
  • Raoul Duke
I like how many (not all) of Mr. O'Reilly's defenders on this site exemplify the bullying and insulting antics this video exposes. A short catalog of their very mature comments I see here:
    "Liberal secular socialist piggy's"
    "you socialist secular wonder"
    "Koolaide drinking liberals"

Nothing like intelligent discourse in discussing the issue at hand. Thanks for proving the point folks.
  • VICKI DAVIS
    B. BILLOW YOU ARE RIGHT ON THE MONEY AND YOU SIR ARE A GREAT AMERICAN! GOD BLESS THE US.
  • VICKI DAVIS
My professor taught me....sounds like a hardcore liberal..nice .... What did you mama teach you? or NOT. You extreme left wing libs are so full of enlightenment...I wonder how can you stand yourself. narcissistic ...get over yourself.
    Don't be a hater.
  • Sandra Zylberman
My professors taught me that it was wise to be silent on subjects I knew nothing about, as I might be thought a fool, rather than to open my mouth and remove all doubt. Mr. O'Reilly's bilge speaks to his level of ignorance. In order to carry on intelligent, enlightened discourse, it is necessary to LISTEN to the other person. Actually, it is a necessary component to an "interview", otherwise, it's just a rant.
  • Student Gregg
Where the hell is O'Reilly rated #1. Among the hateful, hipocratic, hellmongering, selfish, ignorant, and evil people that mistakenly call themselves "Americans". I will say this for him. He has done the United States a great service in filling the shoes of "ARCHIE BUNKER."
  • Vicki Davis
Mr. O'Reilly is a great American. Maybe you should listen to his program and figure out for yourself why his show is #1 in ratings more viewers that any other cable news show.
Liberal secular socialist piggy's just hate to admitt when they are out "FOX"ED!
    Republican Women Rock...
  • Vicki Stevens Davis
Maybe you Koolaide drinking liberals could teach you children something and let them read this book.
Yes J Traas, you socialist secular wonder.. there is a Heaven and a Hell and I suspect one day you will find out for sure.
    You go Queen Bee..I agree.

Did it ever occur to any of you that YOU DO NOT HAVE TO LISTEN TO O'Reilly? You can change the channel so your child or yourself don't have to put up with him. And in America we have a right to say what we want, even when we don't agree with what they are saying. If you don't like him or the books he writes don't watch or buy his stuff. Simple as that!
  • Jeannette
Did it occur to O'Reilly that there is a REASON God gave humans TWO ears and ONE mouth? That seems to suggest that it is twice as important to listen to different points of view and half as important to talk about your own. Is there a lesson for him here?
  • Denise Lytle
Hmmm...whatever happened to the Golden Rule? "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you". Aparently, he only wants to be heard & anyone disagreeing with him he doesn't want to hear. Well, Mr. O'Reilly, I don't want to hear the trash that spews out of YOUR mouth (& I know I'm not alone)!
  • etta
The Julius Streicher comparison is incredibly apt. And sounds like Mr. Buytard is a good German. They are both part of the problem, not part of the solution. Passion I understand; extra-loud stupidity is NOT passion.
  • J. Traas
Hmm... I learned in school that all people are equal. Also, I learned from my mother that cursing to guests is not appropriate.
Other things I learned in kindergarten: how to share, listen, be polite, understand, talk quietly and still get my point across.

If there is a hell, Bill O' is swan-diving right into it.
  • Jo
Sick and tired of the BS. Do they think if they repeat the lies often enough they will finally be believed? And to try to use children is a disgrace. Hmm, this is disgusting.
  • Gerald W. Aho
I learned the the three R's in school which were certainly different than Mr. O'Reilly's.

Bill O'Reilly's New Three R's for the youth of America:

READING the RANTS of the RIGHT!
  • Helen A Spalding
    Mr. O'Reilly;

I am sure that your Catholic mother raised you, as mine did me, to be polite, not to be a bully, and to respect others, including those with whom you disagree. Please return to the lessons of your youth. As to those who threaten others with whom they disagree, or try to quiet them, I will tell you to also respect the lessons your mothers taught you. We can disagree, and I support your right to differ with me, and to state your opinion, and expect similar respect from you.
  • Bill O LIElly
Shut up, shut up, shut up!!!

I'm putting my hands over my ears so I don't have to listen to you left-wing rabble, SHUT UP!!

I know it all and you, you pissants aren't fit to wipe my boots or any other place I might miss.

    SHUT UP!!!

Keep it up and I have some of my gun-toting buds pay you a visit, you morons.

    SHUT UP
  • Brad
Just another classic example of hypocrisy from the people at Fox.
  • Maynard Johnson
I taught my children not to bully and shout at others, and my grandchildren are learning the same lessons. It is easily possible to stand up for your own rights and support your own opinions with shouting or being belligerent.
Mr. O'Reilly's actions are the exact opposite of appropriate behavior. I don't know if his book has a disclaimer reading "Do as I say, not as I do." Knowing how he behaves, I would certainly not buy his book, and would advise others to avoid it.
  • Don Buytard
Hitler silenced his opponents. We can, too. America needs one and only one strong voice on the airwaves - ours. If anyone has passion in his voice - take him off the air. That's the American way. That's the Greenwald way.
  • Dear Bill O'Reilly,

I learned plenty of things in kindergarten and elementary school. I learned the alphabet. I learned how to read and write. I learned to share and play fair. I learned not to be mean to others and not to attack them. I learned that it's not nice to be a bully and bully others. I learned that it's good to take a daily nap. I learned that it's good to have snacktime.

Please learn your lesson. Be nicer to others. Let them speak their minds. Don't blow your lid, Bill-o.

    Sincerely,

    Jason Stack

There's a lot that I can learn from people who embrace a different set of values, opinions, world views, etc. I think this is pretty universal, you know? I mean, everyone has the choice of learning from and living with, or not.
There's a term set aside for people who refuse to learn from the world around themselves, and that term is "arrogant". I suppose you could say Mr. O'Reilly has earned himself that title...

One of the most basic lessons in life, and one of the hardest for many people to always follow is this : take responsibility for your own actions. don't pass the buck, don't blame someone else, just take the responsibility.

We now have a nation of notable personalitlies and leaders that seem to have never learned this concept. Bill is right along with them, giving them a hand.
  • mary twombly
Just say no to Fox and BO. He's getting way to much attention for his bad behavior. Let's just ignore him. He acts like he's a controlling 4 year old so let's give him a time out...
  • MC
How this man still has a job is beyond me. It's STUNNING.
  • Marina Garcia Gelpe
For a really good contemporary brilliant song about Bill's Shut Up Problem, go to CD baby and sample Joel Gelpe's CD "Civility in America", the cut called "Shut Up". Bill if obviously a schizophenic egomaniac who has no self awareness but is totally self absorbed. What a sick man. He has about as much right telling kids how to behave as Jeffrey Dahmer did writing a cook book.

It's interesting to note that O'Reilly is a catholic and attended parochial school. I wonder if any of his teachers are still alive and know what he has become. When I went to Catholic school we were taught to treat others with kindness and respect like Jesus did. He must have missed those lessons.
  • Witchking
Who cares the man is an idiot. I don't watch the idiot or FOX or TV for that matter as a matter of fact I want as little to do with this society as possible if you all boycotted FOX & their products it would help.
  • george LaMarsh
O'Reilly writing a book like that, is like Attila the Hun rewriting the Bible
  • Jack Hamilton
Mr. O'Reilly was never taught to respect evidence. He was never taught to examine a claim before accepting it as fact. As a result, Mr. O'Reilly is forever repeating gossip and baseless rumor on his program as if it were somehow even second cousin to the truth of the matter. Please Mr. O'Reilly, learn to support the claims that you make. Supply your viewers/listeners with evidence that can be cross referenced and has at least a semblance of impartiality. Try not to rely so much on simply telling your guests to "SHUT UP!"
  • Mark N
A small historic observation: Bill O’Reilly seems like an American version of Julius Streicher, a Nazi hate monger who was editor of a party newspaper, Der Stumer. He too slandered people and distorted facts in much the same way O’Reilly does today. Incidentally, Streicher was hanged at Nuremberg…
  • Paul Becker
Bill O'Reilly is the epitome of bullying tactics. It's too bad that he wrote a book teaching other kids to *not* be bullies. After several years of teaching, kids know when they are being rooked and know the difference between right and wrong. Clearly, they know that Bill is rooking them.
It's time for Mr. O'Reilly to look in the mirror and discover the bully in himself and grow up.
  • jim damiano
Aside from the obvious lessons in manners - it's impolite to shout at others while they're talking, telling people repeatedly to shut up is ignorant and childish, Bill could have learned the fundamental differences between right and wrong. It is immoral to use your talent as an orator to lie to good people who trust what you say in order to serve the interests of those who pay you. Perhaps if you weren't spoiled growing up...
  • Patricia Abbott
The best way to teach is by example - practice what you preach

Let me tell you how Bill O'Riley is smart: ... ummm...ohh...wait...let me google it...0 results WTF!...lets ASK it!... still no results...let me yahoo it... ummm... theres nothing...ok... theres NOTHING...goodbye!
  • Michael
The problem with the O'Reilly world view is the misconception that all moral issues can be judged "good" or "bad," "right" or "wrong" as simply as the difference between the left hand and the right. Nothing in ths world is, or ever has been that simple. In fact, such a simplistic view. usually founded upon ignorance, too often has the been the cause of all manner of intolerance and prejudice, the bane and misfortune of human kind since the very beginning.
  • Cynthia Jordan
I believe that O'Reilly is mentally ill and is in dire need of a psychiatric evaluation. Anybody who perseverates on "Shut Up" as much as he does needs treatment. He is incapabble of having a conversation that exhanges ideas. All he does is yell at his guests, "Shut Up, Shut Up, Shut Up"! I do not think any child should be exposed to his tirades. He is one of the worst examples for any child.
  • Jeanie Cottingham
Grandma's are always one of our best teachers. Mine said, "You catch more flies with honey than with vinegar." She was right! A little "sweetness" goes a long way. Maybe even a bully like O'Reilly could learn this, no matter how late the lesson might come.
  • Jim Klubertanz
Oh Really O'Reilly? Once a (insert appropriate term - bully, jerk, hypocrite, moron, or your favorite), always a (insert appropriate term - bully, jerk, hypocrite, moron, or your favorite). You are walking, talking proof. It's about time you grew up...
  • Dayle
The problem with O'Reilly is he makes us comfortable with our prejudices. He teaches us anger, and intolerance. That is a very bad legacy to leave the world. Ny suggestion is to stop! Consider the other side for a change. Learn from others, find compassion.
  • Maha
This is basically teaching doublethink to kids who have been taught to accept what they're told in school but never to question, reflect or think for themselves. So they will accept that you say all the right things but always act the opposite as O'Reilly is doing. It's a strategy of the NWO, not something confined to Fox.
  • Crystal Andrade
Have you ever heard the expresion "Practice what you preach (or write in this case)?" Listen up you are not a person that should be giving anyone advice, especially children. They will read your book then see you on TV, and wonder which Bill they should listen to. Do everyone a favor and take your own advice. Then maybe just maybe someone will respect you.
  • Bernadette Marleau
Billy, you are a bully!!! there is no getting around it!! Didn't your mother ever tell you not to say "Shut Up" or call people names or belittle people??? H-M-M-M That soulds like a bully to me!!!
  • Mehdi Aghababadastjerdi
Those who say or think that Bill O'Reilly is not a bully and is simply a "passionate" man, I do believe they have been terribly used and abused physically and emotionally during their life time that they have been truly desensitized to the horrors of this man and his clear opposition to our democratic values and free society.
  • cwm
this guy ranting about the "secular progression" (is that anything like a harmonic convergence?)--who can't tell the difference between "pity" and "piety"--do you suppose it's a subtle form of parody? either way, keep up the good work.
  • sillywhispers
I watch Bill while caring for my elderly mother who just loves him. There's just enough truthiness in what he says to convince his audience that he's "fair and balanced". You know how a statistician can make the numbers say whatever he wants them to say? Well, that's Bill. He is a liar and he is down right mean.
  • matthew
why am i not surprised to see that the secular progression is more out of control than o'reilly says it is. there is so deep a loss for morals and real american tradition that my i have a hard time looking into the eyes of a liberal without the want to vomit. bill stands up for the good guys and be advised, those who disagree will probably have their riches stored on this earth. i piety you.
  • CAROL GIANFRANCISCO
I have currently received a large grant from the State of Colorado to implement the Olweus Bullying Prevention Program at our facility. I would be glad to allow Bill O'Reilly to participate, as well as anyone who agrees with his approach. I'm sure they will find the strategies they'll learn most effective to compensate for what they have previously missed in their process of maturation thus far.
  • Peggy Miller
Apparently you people don't watch Bill (these are ALL out of context statements... duh)... nor do you know the definition of "BULLY"... Bill is NOT being a Bully... he is a passionate man... and he sometimes gets ANGRY when idiots are on his program - but I have NEVER seen him "bully" anybody!! You guys are REALLY gullible!!!!! Kool Aid, anyone???
  • elisa
Take O'Reilly, Limbaugh and all the rest of the
right wing hate mongers put them on a boat to an
unihabited island with all their followers and
take a deep breath and good ridance.
  • helen fristrom
How can anyone...ANYONE! with an intelligent mind, moral values, and "manners" even take one thing this guy says seriously......boggles my mind.
    He is a menace......
Actually when I have watched his show...to see what he is trying to influence currently....it is like a snakeoil salesman....he's hawking his own products on prime time more than paying attention to the news....but, then, he doesn't give viewers the news ....he just gives them his opinion...
I can't beieve that jerk is actually paid to be on the air........
  • The most rudimentary lesson of kindergarten--public, private or parochial: THE GOLDEN RULE!!! It seems O'Reilly cannot treat others as he wishes to be treated.
  • Dave
O Reilly is just a talking head for the Fox multimillion dollar propaganda machine.
  • Kels R.
I think that Bill o'Reilly should really just be quite! He is a major hippocrate. I don't really understand like jerks like him can have tv shows
  • I have only 4 words to describe O'Reilly=Racist, Pig, Hippocrit & Bully. They all equal jerk in my book.
  • Kurt M.
Mr.O'Reilly is mentally blind, from the mentally blind, come ideas that are poison, take away the power,a shallow person you will find...that is from a song,I did not think of that statement myself, but I believe it because it reflects true to how much of a bully Bill O'Reilly really is...
  • gracieliz
First off, let's not allow our frustrations to build to where we start bullying as Mr. O'Reilly does.
A mean person who's given power and recognition will never see reason to change. We need to take away his power, don't buy his book(s), keep conversations going with others and behave as we should.
In school Mr. O'Reilly should have been taught to:
"Do unto others as you would have them do unto
    you."
I imagine his parents could have done a better job as well as the teachers.
  • Terri
I believe that these clips were taken out of context. I listen to him all the time and I don't believe a word of this propaganda. Just another attempt by the liberals to quiet the conservatives. We are not going to be quiet anymore. So we are going to "DO SOMETHING"
  • Matt
I laughed my ass off XD
  • Doug
Not to give Billy O. a pass. But is it something new that an adult, takes a do as I say, not as I do attitude towards the children? Problem is that the kids that recognize the hypocrisy now, often be come the hypocrites, when they reach adulthood. How long will it be before one generation breaks the cycle?
  • leslie
O'Reilly is an idiot!! Fox news is no better than the trash magazines you see in the check out at the grocery store. Their idea of journalism is lying or embellishing the truth to try to keep the ratings up. It's a joke for any of us that take politics seriously, weather republican or democrat.
  • J Phillipe
JP. No name as the writer..Are you ashamed??????????? Bill O'Reilly is by far the best on Fox News. You must be a lowly democrat. The dems think O'Reilly is a Republican - He is not. You need to get your facts in order and truthful before you write your opinion. No one cares what a person thinks who doesn't sign their name to what they write.
  • Kit
O'Reilly.....repeat after me - gentle thoughts, nice and gentle thoughts....
  • JOSEPH A. SHERIDAN
Bill O'Reilly is a marginal personality with a lack of self esteem who feels he can mistreat people to make himself feel powerful to replace the sense of powerlessness he feels deep inside his soul.
  • Priscilla
    Don't be a hypocrite.
    Don't be a bully.
    Don't interrupt.
    Listen.
    Be fair.
Know the facts before you blurt out an opinion.
  • Nancy Gonzales
O'Reilly is toxic. He only spews hate, bigotry, sexism, and aggression. Humans like that should not be allowed to breed.
  • Dane Hartman
While we're surely all disgusted by Bill O'Reilly, let's not forget that ultimately he is an angry, lost, confused individual whose judgement has overrun all sense of humanism or compassion. Regardless of what we say or do, he already lives in hell. What we really need to do here is bigger than strike back - what needs to happen (indeed, for the survival of our nation and perhaps our species) is a global shift in human consciousness. Let's step up and see this from a larger scale instead of stepping down to his level.
  • james grogan
Are you kidding? Do you think O'Reilly or anyone at the Fox network gives a shit what anyone not a member of the conservative right-wingers - the group to which he is devoted and idolized - thinks of him? He loves being loathed by those that loath him. It gives him added amunition to spew his nastiness that the Fox audience loves to hear. The angrier we become the more he knows he's being effective. And the more popular he becomes the more money he makes. He wants to be as rich as Rush Limbaugh, another big bag of wind.
  • G Mitchell
I suggest O'Reilly read Everything I Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten. When it comes to bullying, bragadaccio, being bigoted, opinionated and loud-mouthed, O'Reilly gets high marks. His grade for being civil, polite, caring, compassionate, accepting of varying viewpoints, and a good listener: a "D". Bill O'Reilly is among the least qualified American pundits to offer advice to children. I wish he'd just follow his own advice and "shut up!" Or better yet, disappear from TV.
  • Lynn Marcellino
I suggest we just stop responding to his bull. don't give him the audience he so obviously needs to perpetuate his rabid scum. - Ignore him until he goes away!
  • We Need To Win
More important than stcking pins in an O'Reilly doll; (I mean he isn't really important; he just preches to his lunatic audience) . . . is being really fair and honest and discussing why this blog hasn't written one word about the hypocrisy and dishonesty of John Edwards.

What does this have to do with O'Reilly? Two things. To accuse someone of not being fair and balanced you have to walk that walk yourself. Ang secondly, there is no where else to post this.

Not on word about the biggest political story in the country.
  • santiago romero
Just don´t watch! I live in Europe, O´Reilly-free.You don´t have to live here, however, to just not watch. Best antidote. Pass it on.
  • I boycott everything owned by the sociopath Australian Nazi Rupert Murdoch. I won't even pick up the free Village Voice for fear that he has subliminal messages in it. There is a well organized and astronomically funded right wing conspiracy to bring about a dictatorship in the USA. If they can brainwash the youth then they will have no resistance to its implementation.
  • John
I am a white person who was raised in the south. I never use the words "Shut up" to anyone.

If I go to a restaurant such as Sylvia's, I am looking for the quality in the food, not the color of the owner, nor their patrons. Why does Bill O think that it should be so different?

Even though he is paid 8 million a year by FOX, he wants to sell his books to peddle his influence and make even more money.
  • Kristin Parker
From elementary school to high school, my teachers always emphasized the importance of learning about other cultures, valuing diversity and difference, and having meaningful, open-minded discussions with others. On all of those counts, your show fails and substantially contributes to the tension and divisiveness that characterize American society and politics.
  • Heather Graham
O'Reilly, you are a disgrace. How you ever got on tv at all is a mystery to me. These kids are so far ahead of you - you should be taking advice from them, not the other way round.
  • Leigh Brumberg
The "No Spin Zone": What a great place to dream about. I got your "No Spin Zone" right here: See that positive role model, Bill O.? It ain't you babe.
  • Lenore
O'Reilly is a disturbed 10 yr. old in a man's body. Mama should have got him help a long time ago. He didn't just learn to be rude and obnoxious, I think he's been allowed to get away with it all his life and he certainly fits in with the rest of FOX NEWS!
  • margaret
What a jerk! Bill O'Reilly is the ultimate in ignorant idiocy. I have never watched more than 2 seconds of his show while surfing past it. Never will either, just as I don't watch horror films - I do not want nightmares.
  • Glenn
    Dear Billy-O:
In your own words: "Shut-up! And do it live!" Learn something.
  • My grandmother taught me to ask myself 3 questions before I speak: 1. Is it kind? 2.Is it necessary? and 3. Is it true? In order for a word to be spoken, it must pass that test--in that order.
  • Roberta Richardson
Some lessons Bill O'Reilly didn't learn:

Trustworthy people have words and deeds
    that match.

    They treat others with respect.

They are not afraid to admit mistakes.

Does he really think he can clean up his
image by exploiting children in this way?
    Sad.

i think bill o`reilly is like george bush i believe that there form of government is the most corrupt since boss tweed and tammany hall . i believe he and his cronies have done more damage to this country in our history since boss tweed i believe the things he has done he and his cronies should go to jail for war crimes and all the spying on americans in my opinion

The Howie posted that he loves reading "angry liberals" and is "amazed" at how uniformed we are. But have you read the book in question Howie? Please inform us, if you can, because I won't pay money for O'Reilly and apparently my local library hasn't wasted their money on this book either. Who exactly is uninformed?

Is Bill O'Reilly ignorant, or merely rude? Or perhaps the rare 1-2 combo platter...
  • A Hansen
I won't tell you to grow up Bill O'Reilly but these kids are telling you just that! They definitely are wiser and more evolved that you will ever be and you could learn alot from them! They don't need your book but you do!

    Bill O'Reilly is a self-centered egotistical ignoramus!

I wonder what kind of people have made his show a success and helped feed his overgrown ego.
  • JOhn Torres
O'Reilly is the worst kind of talk show host. The ones that try to pass for rational and just and factual when they are just the voice of the worst types of fear mongering, hate, racism and small mindedness that is crippling
America. He terrifies me. We should be on code orange because of his big mouth.

Colbert has annihilated any credibility OReilly was ever percieved to have had. He (Colbert) has done us all a great favor. Now, let us all use the channel changer to finish the job.
  • Sharon
I always knew Bill O'Reilly was a loud-mouthed, bigoted, egotistical, narrow-minded ass, but his thinking he is someone who should be teaching anyone's children anything, [let alone how to behave] is proof positive that the moron is completely delusional and disturbed. God help our children if Billo is the new Mr. Rogers. (there goes the neighborhood)!!!!!!!!!!

I always find it amusing to see posts from conversatives blasting angry liberals. I find myself saying why are the conservatives angry. So one day just for the heck of I googled "Angry Conservative" = 5,140,000 hits hmmm so I tried "Angry Liberal" = 500,000 hits maybe its not scientific but interesting results
  • Georgan
bill should have learned from kindergarten how to play nice. Shame on him...

Billo the clown quotes a letter from a viewer named Jeff at the start of this clip. How much do you want to bet there is no viewer named Jeff who wrote that letter?
  • caroline
bill o'reilly may be putting on a show and getting out of hand but i am more upset about those who waste their precious time watching his show. if people weren't watching him, then i doubt he would be aired. let's get him off the air. if we don't like someone, let's not give him the attention b/c apparently positive and/or negative attention is still GOOD attention for those in media. i wish i didn't even know that name bill o'reilly. he is not worth the breath i use in spouting his name from my lips.

I love coming here to read all these angry posts from all you liberals. I love it. I am amazed how uninformed you people are. I love it. This is so much fun reading all this anger. I love it.

    As suggested by Martina:

Delete Fox News from your remote control channel selector. Today.

Better yet, ask your cable company to put a channel block on Fox News, which they'll do free of charge. (Never mind that the option is intended primarily for channels containing adult content.)

    =======================

Readers (and online shoppers) always welcome @ The Exaggerator
  • Stephen Ostrander
    Bill,
Learn from your own book how to treat people. I cannot watch your program for all the mis-interpretations and mis-quotes. I have removed Fox from all the remotes in my house so I won't accidently run into you or the other water carriers on Fox.
  • Robert Page
Everything about O'Reilly & Fox has the underlying agenda to manipulate public perception away from questioning government policy. Kids will not learn about human rights, civil liberties, and social justice from reading "O'Lielly". This is simply an attempt to nip future dissent in the bud through the cynical manipulation of our young peoples' perceptions. Shameful indeed!
  • Draw
Bill could learn a lot from any one of those kids. His show has always been off limits in our household, even for the adults.
  • Pattie Beck
Wow! The kids in the video are more intelligent and articulate than Mr. O'Reilly. The quotes that were read from his book are valuable and worthwhile; unfortunately, this man does not practice what he preaches. I do not watch FOX - the channel is nonexistent on my remote control. Any teacher who would allow this book in their classroom should have their credential to teach revoked.
  • Martina
Delete Fox News from your remote control channel selector. Today.
  • Philip Ratcliff
Don't watch FOX; it only encourages them. This video is the only time I've seen O'Reilly in action. What an a***ole.
  • Mary Barrett
I don't know who it was, but someone said (I must paraphrase) that etiquette is being considerate of other people. I'll never watch O'Reilly's show or read any of his books. But I've heard enough to know that Bill O'Reilly is a boor.
  • Judith Nappe
Bill O'Rielly is poison to America and democracy, one of the worst who is spreading hate and fear propaganda to control the people. He is allowed to spew this on radio and television. Who taught him this? He may be self-taught. He's a scoff-law, immoral fool. Fox in the henhouse.

O'Reilly is exactly like the bullies I saw in grade and high school except with more expensive clothing and too large an audience.
We can only hope he and his ilk are banished from touting hate, racism, and ignorance on a daily basis.
Read your own book, Mr. O'Reilly. Perhaps you can learn how to be a decent human being.
  • I would never want my kids anywhere near Bill O'Riledup. He's frightening.
  • TJ
This is just one small reason why I NEVER tune to FOX. These GOP / racist / ultra-conservative / right-wing / ultra capitalist / religious fanatics are just plain NUTS! Steer clear! Steer your children clear!
  • lynnappel
clearly his guilt about his mean spirited, bigoted, and pathetic self drove him to write a book so that he can try and remind himself of how he should be behaving.
though we all know it's too late and he will never
follow his own advice. a sad case he is.
  • Mike
The fact that Bill O'Reilly has in Fox News a forum to spew his garbage is scary. Joseph Goebbels, Pravda, Fox News all go hand in hand. Any book written by anybody associated with this propaganda machine should be avoided like the plague.
  • Rick
I think the most important thing I remember was the old adage - 'IF YOU CAN'T SAY SOMETHING NICE ABOUT SOMEBODY, SAY NOTHING' ....In this case it would creat a vacancy on Fox for a better show, like showing LIVE funerals of American Troops, or news stories about the real 'ruined' lives of those coming home from that illegal immoral 'attack on Iraq'. Personally I never watch FOX ! and I sure wouldn't let me kids see his book! ! ! I keep wondering if his copy of the bible has been 'redacted'???????????
  • Jax
Bill, have you ever heard this one? "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." How about "People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones?" Just remember, if it looks like a bullying, racist coward, if it sounds like a bullying, racist coward, if it walks like a bullying, racist coward...it must be a bullying, racist coward!
  • Roger MacDonald-Evoy
Oh Bill. It Just goes to show that old saying has changed with the times. The fox is now in the, uh, FOX den and trying to play with the kit foxes.
  • Mike W
How about respecting others? O'Reilly is like Bush and Cheney, playground bullies gone big time. Liars. Tough guys. Self-centered true believers who have little respect for knowledge, truth, or science, and especially not other human beings.
  • normapond
my comment: BILL O'REILLY'S "IGNORAMUS" COMMENTS SHOULD NOT BE AIRED. HOW CAN FOX KEEP HIM ON THE AIR. HE IS AN EGOTIST, AND SO FULL OF HIMSELF. I PITY HIS WIFE AND KIDS. NAP
  • Frank Papia
Who better to give first hand knowledge of how to be a bully or a racist than a bully and a racist. Actions Billy speak louder that words now go sit in the corner.
  • ajp
Mr. O'Reilly is a disgrace to TV personalities. FOX ought to fire him immediately for his degrading comments and despicable behavior. He needs therapy badly.
  • Risha Mateos
    Dear Mr. O'Reilly,
Why are you so hostile? There are many ways of making a statement without name calling and bullying. Stirring up hate and negative emotions is not going to solve the problems we are facing.
  • James Parker
who is this guy ? Ithink he needs some theapy
  • Tim
How can anyone question this Disciple of Truth?? After all, isn't he, Hannity, Limbaugh, Savage, et al., the only TRUE voices out there? Thank goodness for their messages and showing us how to be REAL Americans. Unfortunately, I don't have cable so I can't get Heaven's Truth Network, FOX. I'm stuck with pinko liberal sources like NPR, PBS, and BBC. Help me!! I'm lost without Bill. I'm doomed to make up my own mind about truth.
  • Medel Flores
It's very sad that FOX continue to allow racist remarks like this and broadcast it in public, but if everyone can remember this is the same network news group that gave us "bush" and conspired with the conservative lynchers that cheated former Vice President Al Gore in Election 2000. So I'm calling on to the true American Patriots that "NOW IS THE TIME".
  • Leona Pitej
O'Reilly and his production staff should be required to read *Letters to a Bullied Girl: Messages of Healing and Hope* to see the effects of bullying on people of all ages and walks of life. In contrast, O'Reilly's writing is pedestrian and cliche-ish. He spends his foreward in part justifying his behavior on screen. I hope *The O'Reilly Factor for Kids* doesn't earn out its advance.
  • Brandon Johnson
O'Reilly needs to take a look in the mirror and realize all the negative racist stereotypes he spews about minorities are reflected in himself and the white trash he hangs out with.
  • Dan Kanoza
O'rielly mau not be the most hatefilled person alive today, but he sure does come close. It's unbelieva ble that Fox News, true a far right point of view station, would allow him and his vitriolic tongue, to continue on the station, let alone, allow him to push a book about and to kids.

    His behavior is abominable.

  • Ed Pazicky
O'Reilly is a bigot, a racist and a liar. He should read a book by Robert Fulghum entitled "All I Ever Needed to Know, I Learned in Kindergarten." Although published about 35+ years ago, it still applies today.
  • Margaret
How many times have you watched the O'Reilly Factor? I have watched it for years and though O'Reilly does have a bit of a temper sometimes in my opinion he is not a bully and he really is a good guy. MOST of the time, he is not behaving as this video portrays. He's a character, he's real, he's interested in FACTS. As a matter of fact, I love O'Reilly! (I'm a really nice person, by the way.)
  • J Kibler
What did you expect from someone who is so obviously sick and playing to others who share his illness?
  • Dr. Herb Moselle
Bill O"Reilly is teaching children proper behavior?!
One first things that we teach is not to lie. Bill has taken lying with a straight face to new level.
  • Mike Angstreich
I was taught to be polite so I'll be as polite as I can: Bill O is an anal sphincter.
  • Harold Taggart
A person resorts to bullying when he or she lacks the intellect to discuss a subject logically. Who can be bullied more easily than children? It's not surprising he has turned to this new easier target audience. When will "O'Reilly debates babies" be published? His bullying of adult audiences is becoming more and more discredited. O'Reilly was duped by a retarded Texan into supporting a criminal war of aggression in Iraq. He's functioning at an infant level, so he can write at that level.
  • Jassmine
Mr. O'Reilly really needs to learn to be polite, period. He is rude, obnoxious, and just plain hateful. Maybe, washing his mouth out with soap on a regular basis would help.
  • Beth Tennyson
I, in no way, support censorship. No matter how ridiculous Billo is, he's exercising his right as an American. Daily he exhibits "what NOT to be" and it is the parent or guardians responsibility to teach differently.
  • James
what saddens me most is we are crippling our future by privatizing our "Village"/schools/children by people who have and love children. They buy into a doctrine that o'reilly espouses and yet his world is one of only the strong survive. I have met brave children but never a strong one. That's why we guide and teach them...to become strong.
  • LD Thompson
In polite society (when it existed) such people were shunned as were the Anne Coulters of the world. Shunning is a very effective tool for behavior modification. I suggest we bring it back.
  • Melvin Rosenblatt
Billo's egomaniacal ravings punctuated by his one-sided "shut ups"are deeply reflective of the essence of this hateful man.I dread any influence that he might have on our children!
  • humanist
Mr. O'Reilly should really learn to practice what he preaches.
  • Donna Wilson
Video tape of Bill O'Reilly should become textbook material for every mental health professional in this country. They should be shown to every grade school child as how NOT TO BEHAVE IN LIFE.
  • Kathy
I think we need to give kids more credit for "smelling a rat". I think this age group recognizes phony-baloney hypocracy when they see it. They certainly recognize an out-of-control, screaming, bigoted jerk when they see one! He's so pathetic, I almost pity him.
  • Judy Chapman
Orally is more than a bully. He's mentally ill. That, or he's putting us on even better than Stephen Colbert.
  • Diane
Billo should take lessons from Keith Olberman on speaking to guests with respect and taking time to listen to them without interruption
  • Manuel Reyna
Keith Oberlman, Keith Oberlman, Keith Oberlman. Hear that Bil Orally?, Countdown, the best show in town, after Joh Sewart of course.
  • Karen
This is an excellent example of a guy who wants to make money on a book. He is so hyocritical and egotistical, I don't know how he stands himself.
  • Great Job ! Please continue this work, Mr Greenwald, let the uninformed know that Fox, Hannity, Rush Dumbo (!) are mouthpieces for the Oil, military industrial complex and general war profiteers, and this dispicable Bush Administration. People still take these pundits seriously, which is why McCain is so close in the polls. Please let us know what we can do about it.
  • norman henry
MR. Reilly is an excellent choice to author a book on how to behave as a child, after all he so frequently does.
  • Charlie
I suppose that little Billy thinks he is a sage who's mad as hell and not going to take it any more, an intellectual who "doesn't suffer fools gladly," a feisty little David to the Big Liberal Establishment's Goliath. The only problem with that is he thinks he's David become Goliath but he's just a little fool.
  • David Havt
It is interesting that everytime I try to acccess your films at YouTube, I receive a note "We're sorry, this video in no longer available"..It happens most of the time with videos posted at Huffington Post. I accnoy understand because those videios they say id not longer available was posted the same day they alledge that they are not longer available. Please explain

    Thanks

America's Christian crazy (housed between the east coast and west coast)Put their Messiah/Bill O'reilly on there pathetic fox network and the last 7 years have been the worst on record for america both domestically and on the world stage. Now there messiah puts out a book to Kids.TIME TO SHUT UP THE MESSENGER.
  • Dee
    Bill who?
  • Rick
Fox news is in reality another tv show, it certainly is not the news. Its actually very hard to get just the news these days everyone thinks I want there opinion, guess what? I DON'T!
  • Chuck Smith
Don't forget we live in a free country, and this country LOVES this kind of crap. If there's a market, we are suppose to go after it and profit from it. The majority of christian America put this arrogance in power 7 years ago, kept it in power 3 years ago, and still wants more of it. It's not Fox that's to blame, this is half of America - or at least the christian radical part of it, and Fox is simply serving it's hungry, arrogant, bigoted market.
  • Bobo
Thank God for Kieth Olbermann to keep us up to date what a fool Bill'o is.
  • It's obvious that Mr. O'Reilly has a perception problem. His ego is so large that he is blind to his own shortcomings. The trouble is, he is no average joe. He pretends to know what others don't and comes off as an authority to some. The damage is with people who take him at face value and pass this ignorance on to their kids. Well not all of us are that gullible. Shame on the Fox network for having people on their network that are so blatantly and willfully manipulative.
  • mr greengenes
I would love to meet billo in a dark alley with a baseball bat!!!
  • Mike DellaPenna
The kids sound smarter and more grown up tha O'Reilly. He's like a spoiled, little brat preaching from where no one can touch him.
  • Deborah Armor
O'Reilly just sucks! He's rude, mean-spirited, biased and a bully. I really think he may be mentally ill. No one in their right mind acts as he does. Mostly as a result of his show, I refuse to watch any FOX network. The entire news programming is biased toward conservatism and against liberalism. News stations should just report news...no bias either way.
  • David Foresman
I wish that man would just die already.
  • Susan Hook
Whew! O'Reilly is one of the nastiest people on TV - that's probably why he works for Fox. (they encourage this kind of behavior)

If everyone acted like O'Reilly, this country would be at war all the time. Oh, wait.... hmmm..I'll bet he's been teaching manners to our current administration! Cheney, put that book down!!!!!
  • Rex Kesterson
As the recipient of a bullying, badgering parent who was as misguided as O'Reilly, we really do not need to see this harshness perpetuated. Teaching is a calling not unlike nursing where concern for the person being serviced is primary objective. Allowing O'Reilly to mentor any child would be like inviting Annie Wilkes from the film 'Misery' to minister to your health needs.
  • Joanne
Be it O'Reilly, Limbaugh or Glenn Beck - They are all nothings who wouldn't have a job if it wasn't for their negative, bombastic, verbal assaults that
brings out the worst of people's nature. They are a Pox on society and Oral Pornographers. It's sad that
so many fellow Citizens don't realize that they are so detrimental to our Moral growth and betterment!
  • Josh G.
very simple: LISTEN... even if you may not like what someone else has to say, LISTEN, because hearing the other sides to any issue is the only way to completely understand it... that & don't sexually harass the faculty...
  • D. H. Fabian
To Bill O'Reilly: You need to learn that bullying is not acceptable behavior. An important part of growing up is learning that we, as individuals, are not the center of the universe. I do understand that the reason you act up, misbehaving, is to be the center of attention. Such behavior defeats your purpose, however, as it causes people to dismiss you as a "crank".
  • anonymous
For starters, I refuse to tune into FOX anymore because of their biased reporting, flare for the dramatics and sappy exchanges. As far as Reilly goes, thanks for bringing this to my attention. My advice for Reilly is to teach through example. Kids learn daily lessons from how we behave and treat others! The book should be hidden in the back of the bookstore .. obscured from sight so as not to draw attention or offend!
  • Kurt Fisher
Bill O'Reilly should listen to what the children have to say about his actions.
  • Jerry Moorehead
Spewing hate is not proper behavior. Grow up, and shut up!
  • Tired 'ol Trooper
O'Reilly and Limbaugh tirades can be compared to the rants of Hitler and his propaganda chief during the thirties. When you don't have a reasonable point.... SCREAM! It worked for them (but not for long)!
  • Lloyd Bragoz
We have become a nation which has lost its character, and you are one of the reasons because you have no character. You reflect the characterless Fox News and all corporatists.
  • Shirley Torrey
The real culprit is Fox News--they employ O'Reilyl because he makes news. Big business is running America--and until we harness them, they will continue to send our country "downward"--all the way from what is left of ethical behavior to total collapse of all that once was held of value.
  • barb Phipps
I'm surprised Fox really lets this man continue his rants night after night. He is so wrong on so many levels that it would take to long to point them all out. I would not want my child learning a thing from people like him, let alone buy his book.
  • Bonita
I'm surprised by all the venom in these comments. Isn't that a big part of O'Reilly's problem? We can do better than that! How would you like your child to react to a young O'Reilly classmate? Surely not by engaging in his game of name-calling. Think of healthier reactions, and soon we'll be back on task: lessons learned on how to be a responsible grown-up.
  • Terry Campbell
You really have to consider the source. He has gone completley off the resevation and from what I've seen the last few years he will never return. He is a cruel. hateful person that I feel should never be allowed near children. He is worse than a pedifile. He is absolutley a person that is TAKING OXYGEN FROM PEOPLE THAT ACTUALLY NEED IT. The only thing people can do is NEVER turn on Fox noise. The only thing Billo ever taught anyone was HATE !!
  • Chris Weaver
A couple of thoughts come to mind, such as
    - practice what you preach
    - that do-as-I-say-not-as-I-do thing tends to wear a little thin.
  • 3rdbillygoat
    As I channel a little O'Riley:

O'Riley is a contorted, shriveled, putrid, pus n blood, make-you-gag-it-reeks-so-foul, piece of shit. I'd love to beat him into a bloody, crying pulp. He swears he's tough; what a joke. Man, he needs an asskicking!!! Come to Oakland O'Riley, pleeeeaaasse!

SHUT UP! SHUT UP! SHUT UP!

Ok - the evil spirit is gone...
  • Patricia Chang
Mr. O'Reilly panders to the extremist, fundamentalist Right. Isnt there something about "Thou shalt not commit false witness against they neighbor."? My mother always said:"If you cant say anything good about someone, dont say anything at all." If Mr. O'Reilly wants to teach children proper behavior, he might try to practice it himself.
  • Jerry A
O`Reilly will continue to do what he does because he has nothing to fear.
Americans, including Mothers, and,Fathers will do NOTHING but Talk.
Americans have been complaining about the "MSM" for decades, what have they, the Americans done about it....again....nothing but talk.
So! why should O`Reilly stop doing what he does, and making allot of Money doing it?
O`Reilly has nothing to fear because he knows that Americans will do nothing, nothing at all but TALK.
  • JohnGregory
Before you send this video anywhere, PLEASE reduce the background volume and increase the fidelity of the spoken messages (more high frequency volume).
    Thank you.
  • Drake Magnum
    Jen Allison, well said!

I don't think Fox News will care directly if this petition gets sent, but if a big enough stink raises from it, other people might notice.
The last petitions sent seemed to garner a decent amount of media coverage.
  • Bryan E. Snuggs
What is really discouraging is how many people actually worship this pathetic excuse for a human being. Further proof of the lack of intelligent life on planet Earth, I suppose.
  • Stefanie Sellars
So glad I don't watch TV. But honestly we all know that O'Reilly is a hypocrite. The best way to disarm a bully is to not pay attention, walk away and let the air out of their sails. So I ask you, please just don't watch FOX tv. The less people watching and FOX's advertisers just might get the point and stop paying to put this kind of hypocrite on the air.
  • E
O'Reilly, Limbaugh, Coulter and Savage don't believe in the shit they are saying any more than the televangelists of the 1980's were worried about your soul. Much like Jimmy Swaggart and Jim Bakker before them, they've just found themselves in the middle of a billion dollar industry. Right now hate is more profitable than God...and it gets better ratings.
  • Fred Hickey
Buying The O'Reilly Factor For Kids and/or allowing your children to read it would be like inviting a known pedophile into your home to babysit while you go away for a two week vacation. Both would have devastating effects that would last a lifetime.

What I don't understand is how this book managed to get published. I thought there were laws against endangering the welfare of a child.
  • marc Rogers
O'Reilly needs to be reported to CPS( Child Protective Services) for the emotional abuse he spews and the "collateral" damage that it does to our children and our country. Maybe one day he will engage in a dialogue -rather than the collective monologues that are his craven strengths!
  • Kevin
_Jesus told his followers: "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another" (John 13:34-35).

If I didn't think Jesus had some smart sh*t to say, Ol' Billy Boy, I would tell you to suck it.
  • Dominick J.
ahhhhhhhhhhhhhahahahahaha, you guys make me laugh!!
First, let be very clear, you do a great service, I'm not laughing about that. It's you sending anything to FOX expecting them to punish someone on their news network is what's laughable!!
HE'S JUST WHAT FOX (FAUX) NEWS WANTS!!
and that's one of the reasons I don't waste my time watching that net work or any of their so called Anchors!
I also don't read Enquirer or Gossip rags either!!
    Dominick J.
  • Druyan Byrne
Yes, we all agree that O'Reilly is a frightful hypocrite, but the most frightening thing is that he is so popular-- watched and adored by so many.
  • It would be wonderful if we could all learn to do to others what we would have them do to us if we were in the same situation.

See a plan at www.wwunited.org that will eliminate poverty and inequality virtually overnight and please feel free to leave your "signature" on a Declaration for the people if it's something you could support.
  • Henry North
I'm so glad I taught my kids to think for themselves.
I haven't watched FOX in years, don't have cable, and can't remember the last time I even watched any TV, and when I see things like this I realize I'm not missing a thing.
O'Reilly, Limbaugh, Coulter all need the same thing - INTENSE THERAPY - probably in-patient so they aren't running around loose while their demons are being exorcised.
It's so pathetic - they're all legends in their own minds. What's frightening is that so many people base their political and societal views and opinions on these Neanderthals. Unfortunately it's enough to keep the money flowing into Rupert's pockets and keep the clowns on the air.
  • Jen Allison
Bill O'Reilly is a very sick individual. Every time I hear him, I am propelled into his world of anger and left disgusted. It is a constant struggle to have compassion for such a hateful & ignorant person. Evil people love it when you are brought down to their level. Our only recourse is to fill our minds and the world with truth, goodness and love. But somesimes I just want to punch that freak in the face!!
  • Carole Tallerino
O'Reilly you are alot of negative things, a bully, a pompos individual that must be RIGHT, a mouth that is worse than the city sewer. A liar,
as you are should not be on t.v. for children to mirror your disgusting ways. Fox News has certainly shown how much character they lack by
showing you on their station. I wouldn't watch fox news if it were the last thing on television.
  • Steve West
It's a free country and that means everybody has a right to speak. We should encourage this guy to keep speaking out because he has foot in mouth disease and his words often expose the bankruptcy of his thoughts.
  • Alan
Bill O'Reilly is the master of non slander slander through insinuation. He has also mastered bullying to a fine art.
  • Joseph Dorcey
Bill O'Reilly is not a bully, he's a wimp. Only weak people act and speak as he does. He doesn't intimidate or scare me one bit. He's to be pitied.
And he should be banned from the airwaves.
  • Susanna Orr
What a piece of trash! The hate he spreads is disgusting.
  • Joseph Dorcey
Someone please tell O'Reilly to shut up!
  • Big Eddie
BillO-The-Clown and the others over at Faux noise Channel are like the COMMON HOUSE FLY,,,

THEY EAT POOP AND BOTHER PEOPLE.
  • steve wilken
if anyone has one good reason why/how this guy is still allowed to be on tv please let the rest of us know...
  • Charles Kuyper
Remember, Bill, if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all. Treat people the way you'd want to be treated. And, don't say things that you don't believe in. Lying is NEVER good.
  • Oreilly is a right wing nut. Maybe his worse, just a nut trying to keep making money. I have yet to hear a real solution for this Land's problems, of which there are many.
  • Phil Heyman
Why the FCC, let alone the American viewing public tolerate this self-rightous, pompus, arrogant, dogmatic, self-seeking demagog is beyond me!? But then again his audience voted for Govenor Bush twice, (sic)
  • Danielle Kalb
    1. Use your 'inside voice'.

    2. Clean up your potty mouth.

    3. Attacking people is unacceptable behavior. Being angry, scared & confused is no excuse.

    4. No means No.

    5. Lying is never okay!!! And it will get you deeper in trouble.

    6. If you can't say anything nice about someone, keep your pie-hole shut.
  • Dove
O'LIE-ly is symptomatic with what's wrong with Fox, and Rupert Murdoch. And yes, it IS the "White House Channel". Methinks it was Reagan that did away with the Fairness in Reporting Doctrine, and now we have these ridiculous Nazis running amok, brainwashing hapless rednecks, and other ignorant-types. KEEP THEM AWAY FROM YOUR CHILDREN, AT ALL COSTS!! Hatred is NOT a "family value"!! Yeah, Coulter and O'LIE-ly would make a GREAT pair! "Loofah, anyone???"
  • Chagrined
O'Reilly works for an insidious immigrant ingrate who does not have America's best interest at heart. They are HATE mongering, FEAR mongering, WAR mongering people from whom American children should be protected!

    Chagrined
  • William Lyons
Bill Moyer said it best: O'Reilly is a pugilist not a journalist. Anyone who can not speak the truth or convince others about the wisdom of their arguments must resort to aggression. O'Reilly - a disgusting picture of some part of American media.
  • Hal
I also have stopped watching FOX because of people like Bill'Oooo and numerous others on that station. I have e-mailed them and suggested they change their call letters to GOP, after all they are their moutpiece.
  • Amy
This should be a theraputic, self-help book for Mr. O'Reilly. He seems to have an intimate knowledge about bullies and he knows that racism is small minded. He should read this book and then practice what he preaches.
  • Mike Airoldi
O'Reilly for kids.... Now I know for sure that he is totally and completely insane! :)
  • Jim
    Laughing my ass off!

I stopped watching FOX years ago, I am surprised O'Reilly is still on...O'Reilly is just as ignorant as he has always been.

    What a joke!
  • steve babin
O'Reilly is usually wrong & talks without knowing
the facts, because he is so prejudiced. He has a
big mouth & owes an apology to a lot of people &
needs to learn some manners. It's no wonder he
is Keith's "worst person" so many days.
  • Mildred
O'Reilly is a frustrated Republican that apparently believe that scare tactics is the way to force people into something. He looks so mean when words come out of his mouth. Look at his eyes, he reminds me of a Mad Man. He apparently missed something growing up as a child.

    Mildred
  • Lisa Klingenberg
    Hey Bill, SHUT UP!!
  • Jim Cunningham
Poor, poor Bill O! So misunderstood! He's just got a lot to learn. Perhaps a time out would be in order every time he tells someone to shut up, every time he bullies yet another intelligent guest with a good point, and every time he gets too forward with a member of the opposite gender. Of course, that would leave him permanently in time out. Hmmm, that would no doubt make the world a better place.
  • Diane Williams
Clearly a book destined for the remainder table and ultimately the free book box.

China has to call itself the PEOPLES Republic of China, otherwise you would think it was a dictatorship. No Spin Zone, Fair and Balanced. Shouldn't we be able to see that for ourselves. Yeah if it was true. Look up hypocrite in the dictionary and O'liely's picture is there.
  • Reg
"You can never get in trouble for NOT saying something stupid."

Best advice I've ever gotten. Perhaps Bill-o could try it but Fox might object to hosting an hour long show with a mute host.
  • cam
Bill, from where does your idiocy come; hopefully not from your parents...if so, 'tis well that you have no children.
  • Erin
    My parents taught me:
    * If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all.
    * Don't tell people to "shut up."
    * Treat others as you wish to be treated.
    * We are all created equal.

Hitler never wrote a book about "How to run a democracy" or "How to make friends" This man is beyond absurd.

bill o'reilly's continued defense of karl rove sets the example that there are some above the law. but that's alright, rove is going in front of the house judiciary committee anyway...
  • ohgorsh
Bill is a nut case and I would never want my grandkids around him. Him and Ann Coulier should get married. they think alike. He gets paid to be a jerk and people keep watching the anal man
  • Rick
O'Reilly settling his sexual harassment suit out of court and then declaring that he will never speak of it again says it all.

O'Reilly is just a sad illustration of a disturbed man with a delusional self-image. His childish, bullying attacks on anyone with whom he disagrees is a poor example for our own children as is his playing fast and loose with the truth.

I don't think it is possible to rehabilitate the man and restore (if he ever had any) his integrity. Fox should just drop him show.
  • Paul Swift
I don't think we needed this video to know that O'Reilly is this childish and racist, but this video does seem to prove well that little children are much more intelligent than he is.
  • Debra Istvanik-Strotman
My parents taught me, my brother, sisters, to listen to others before we form an opinion. Telling someone to shut up and calling them names only shows your ignorance and unwillingness to listen to all sides before making an informed decision on a subject or debate.
This man should definately go back to school.
  • Judy Walsh
Children know hypocrites from fifty paces. What a shame so many adults don't.
  • Amy
As a former pre-school teacher, I remember being really bothered by some parents & how they enabled their kids to do whatever they wanted, even at the cost of other people's feelings. This relates quite well to FOX NEWS & how they are enablers to Bill O'Reilly & his behavior. He never stops to consider what he says or how it might make other people feel. EVER. He's also extemely selfish, a bully, & a lier. O'Reilly needs to have a time-out... a very long & lonely time-out.
  • Charles Harris
When I was a kid, I was taught that you can catch more flies with sugar than with salt. If I had ever spoken to others the way Mr. O'Reilly routinely speaks to his guests, I would have had my mouth washed out with soap. Mr. O'Reilly should go spend some quality time with kids. He might learn something about courtesy, tact and tolerance - or what we used to call courtesy, tact and tolerance until the "family values" crowd made "in your face" fashionable.
  • ccunningham
Wow, how elementary is THAT??!! It really does Take One to Know One, doesn't it!!?? I'm rubber & you're glue, O'Reilly: bounces offa me & sticks on YOU.
That makes you both a cliche & a childish joke, Billo.
  • Well Bill O' is hardly in a position to pretend teaching anything to kids. I wouldn't want my kids to be traumatized by this bully! How dare he even pretend to teach?
  • John
Mr. O'Reilly is a frustrated junior high school principal. He was probably not successful at bullying 12 year old boys and girls, so he has taken to Fox news to spew his ignorance and hatred to the right wing ignorants. If he was reasonable, he could see how hypocritical his actions and words have become.
  • Prescott H. Paine
Just because our government lies and is hypocritical does not mean that we should teach our children to be like that. Fox is basically the "whitehouse channel" and directly reflects the disturbing ironies and inconsistencies that the world is beginning to hate us for, NOT BECAUSE WE ARE FREE, BUT BECAUSE THE GOVERNMENT CAST ITS PSYCHOPATHIC DESIRES FOR CONSUMPTION AND CONTROL WHILLY NILLEY!
  • Donna
One of the most important things a parent, teacher or any adult can do to influence a child is to model good behavior. Mr. O'Reilly falls short to say the least.
  • Before consenting to a hysterectomy, view this educational video at: www.hersfoundation.org
  • Kevin Jones
There is something sexually perverse about O'Reilly's obsession with children. Being a sociopath he obviously doesn't realize he's a weirdo.
I remember he said when talking about writing his book, "We just pulled these kids and asked them some questions..."
I wrote him an email and asked if "we" had permission from their parents to "just pull these kids" and question them without supervision and then use them in money-making-book-crusade exploitation scheme.
Where were these kids when you pulled them?
Seems to me that O'Reilly should never have been allowed to do such a thing with minor children and he may have crossed some legal lines.
  • Clarke Pomeroy
Marketing hate seems to be a profitable business these days and O'Reilly is good at it. Trying to pass himself off as someone to teach kids almost sounds like a farce of himself. Rush, O'Reilly and all of the hate-filled propaganda mouthpieces are the lowest form of life on the planet.
  • Pamela
I think a lot of comments are missing the point. O'Reilly just is doing what he does for the MONEY! Bet the book was ghost-written. The thing to do is vote by clicking the remote when he comes on and that will put him off the air.
  • Nicholas Zizelis
Pity that we even give this jerk the attention required to point out that he is a jerk. A jerk is a jerk is a jerk.
  • Sandy
When I was in grade school, one of my teachers would always say "Actions speak louder than words". Obviously Bill O'Reilly was never taught that. But, of course he would do or say anything to sell a book.
  • Millisa
You want to help kids who may be bullied in school and you bully and treat others awful on your show... Way to go Bill!!!! That is like calling the kettel black to write a book to help kids survive Jr High and High School when you are the biggest bully of them all... LOL!!!!
  • vincent passiatore
What do you expect of a bunch of bush bashing republicans? REMEMBER REPUBLICANS AND THE FOX NEWS NETWORK all are lier's. The Grand Old screwed up party. O'Railey and Lemberger smell worst then Bush and company. all Republicans LIE, and then cover up. THE TYPICAL REPUBULICANS (1)No VALUES (2) NO MORALS (3) NO ETHICS JUST A BUNCH OF MORONS.
  • Tim Indermuehle
Kindnes and compassion are virtues. Bill, you could do yourself a favor by learning about compassion. Also, walk a mile in another man or woman's shoes before you pass judgement. You need to feel what it's like to be me.
  • Susan D. Ferrigno
Children will do as you do not what you say. Your actions have not provided a positive roll model. Children are very perceptive, clear thinking, focused, as evident in this video. They recognize a phony. Clean up your act, Bill, if you want them to follow. With insight, they'll see you for what you are - a charlatan.
  • david b
Hey guys, with this kind of logic don't tell your kids not to do drugs because you did them. I don't get this. If you use being a hypocrit as a barometer them i fail as well.
  • David
I preface my following statement by claiming that I - like so MANY here - am an evolved human being. Bill comes off like a child who might very well have been abused, bullied, ignored, etc. Unfortuantely for him, Billy didn't seem to EVER receive ENOUGH mental THERAPY! This is exactly why no human being with a conscience would EVER accept what he says with a grain of salt. I am glad to see the young people in the video ARE mentally stable persons! :)
  • mic gould
still waiting for my suggestions (2) to post or are you afraid of reality
  • Marjorie Dwyer
When we were young, tone of voice was everything.
No one was allowed to say anything mean, and certainly no one said, "Shut up."

If people were more polite to each other they wouldn't end up on Dr. Phil, wondering what has gone wrong. Bill O'Reilly hasn't been taught to censor himself, and I wonder why he doesn't see it. Rage brings in more$?
  • mic gould
yeah ... heres a suggestion mr.screener put it out there and have a debate or are you just one sided in your own world listening to only people that agree with you, what a joke ...look at yourselves, what a pathetic, sad web-site
  • Wm. A. / Janet M. Corkran
The Levittown Lip is too far ingrained with self importance, Bigotry, Racism, Arrogance, Stupidity, War Mongering, Bullying, and Hate to ever be rehabilitated. Someday, he will tell the wrong person to "shut up", and will get his ass rearranged in public. At which time, Limbaugh, the druggist, and Hannity, the construction worker, can get our attention for reform.
  • Glenn
A typical tactic of a liar or manipulator is to mix the truth with lies. He tells the truth about bullies, but at the same time he dictates to us the conditions of our citizenship - that we can't disagree with troop placement. That's a complete lie, since the founding documents of our country guarantee our right to disagree, question, and even peacefully overturn the government if enough of us feel it's not good.

Bill Reilly tells us to shut up when we should speak up. He needs to learn about controlling himself and stop insulting other people.
  • Boony
You cant teach what your not living and realisticly expect for kids to learn anything other than what your doing.
  • Fred Overeem
Children catch manners and respect for fellow humans from those they respect. These values cannot be taught in a book. Most kids will recognise the O'Reilly behavior for what it is, hypocrisy.
  • Danielle
It's been said:We teach best what we need to learn. Boy is that true with Bill O'Reilly's behaviour and what he's trying to share/teach children in his book. Hate begets hate.
  • K. Kinzer
O’Reilly is not only a hateful, bigot, racist and sexist, he is also a liar! He continues to work in concert with the likes of Rush Limbaugh and Ann Colter to discredit authentic journalism. He is extremely dangerous not only to students but to adults who haven’t figured out that Fox network is really Faux Network and NOT a news agency. He should be on “pay-for-view” so that the general public is not exposed to such idiocy!
  • Sue Hammond
As a second grade teacher, I teach kids to listen to each other and treat each other with respect. We practice working together, thinking of ways to take turns, share, and support each other. If O'Reilly were to watch my students working together, he could learn how to be a good citizen.
  • Andi
Bill has an anger management issue and only seems to invite people into his world that he can bully like he was on the play-ground. I don't wish to teach kids about his intimidating ways.
  • Neil Braun
What does anyone expect from this preacher of hate?
  • Art Hanson
In Kindergarten most of us learned not to be a bully and not to be a bigot.
  • Miriam
This man is an embarassment to what he is supposedly teaching, or trying to teach, our kids!
Maybe he should read his own book!
  • Uh oh, Billo's not sharing (the airwaves) nicely like he was supposed to have been taught. Back to kindergarten for you, Billo--you flunked!
  • Peggy Goss
Bill O'Reilly needs a heart and a brain. A lot of compassion and consideration would help too.
Where did he learn to hate so much?
  • Tom Emmott
Go back to kindergarten! Oh, wait--you already are in kindergarten.
  • O'Reilly is not as gracious or intelligent as any of my favorite teachers. In fact, the teachers that I did not care for are still better skilled than he is.

I am a teacher also. He is an example of the type of people that I do not want to seed out into the society. He really is not a role model that I would hold up to them. Being a rude liar is not something that I want them to aspire to be.
  • The problem isn't Bill O'Reilly - It's the fact that millions of Americans identify with him...Scary!
  • Linda
You have got to feel sorry for him. It is obvious he is the television version of that jerk Rush Limbaugh.
  • anonymous
    Listen.

Be quiet, so you can listen better.

Compassion - what would it be like for me if I were in the other person's shoes?

    Respect.
  • Julie
As we had to do in grade school when we misbehaved, he should sit in the corner and not be permitted to speak until he can say something nice.
  • Nancy
This is a pleasure to comment on the biggest "sicko"(close runners-up are Sean Hannity & Rush Limbaugh)on prime time tv. What's really scary is that he has a large audience--of course, Republican only. What decent human being with any sense of morality or outrage could take this loser seriously? His presence is a disgrace to any democracy, but then, do we still have one here in America? Please...keep him away from our precious children!!!
  • Syl
Mr. O'Reilly is a great example for teaching our kids that they don't really need to respect elders.
  • LoneWolf
    Dear little dissocialized Billy Boy!

Please be a goody contraceptive and filter your thoughts out!

You should have learned to listen, to be self reflective and at least sometimes aknowledge the fact of your own human err!

There's more out there in the world, than government tells you!

If you don't accept that fact, you're either stupid or ignorant!

Do your research about the "Bilderberger" already, you fool!!! Your dumb arrogance on this issue is pathetic!!
  • Michele
There are two things I learned in elementary school, from a wonderful teacher called Ms. Pedigo, that I don't believe Mr. O'Reilly has mastered yet:

    1) Sometimes you get to talk and, then, you have to be quiet so others can be heard as well.

    2) Don't yell mean things at people; it hurts their feelings and makes you look like a stupid-head.
  • John McBush
It's time someone feeds O'Reilly a cock meat sandwitch
  • Nette
Please don't insult Iran & Iranians. Of course, O'Reilly won't survive long in Iran - Iranians dislike hypocrites and bullies as much as any other intelligent person would.
  • theresa
Bill like most of the human race has a hard time practicing what he preaches in his book!
  • Manitru
Billo is one of the snakes that got away from St Patty, Let make him crawl back under the rock he came from. We don't want him in this beautiful country of ours.
  • Taylor58
Typical neocon BS. Catch them earlier and get them brainwashed. Why does this dick-head think he is qualified to write a book about anything? Who does he have pictures of that he uses as blackmail to stay on the air? Lets send hate mongers like him to Iran.
  • S. H. Harris
Neither school kids nor adults should ever, ever watch any programming on Fox Noise, nor should they purchase any products advertised on that network. Fair and balanced it is not.
  • Mart
Btw, some of the posts here are really just unbelievably idiotic, DJK, Gilespie.... I suppose DJK thinks Goebbels was a big success?
  • Consuelo
How about consideration for others, no matter what their age. Children should be treated with the respect their innocence demands.
  • Mart
O'Reilly should have learned to tell the truth...
And then he might realize he shouldn't work for corporate liars and propagandists like Faux News/Rupert Murdoch.
  • kevin
only one thing to say....FUCK OREILLY (: have a good day

I was once an O'reilly fan, long before the infamous "Sylvia's blacks surprised me" comment. Ifeel sorry for him, for all of Fox. They embarrass themselves daily in the name of ratings. Furthermore they embarrass this country.
  • William E. Wilson
O'Reilly must be getting desperate. Thinking adults are on to him, so now he wants to target innocent kids with his latest book. Surprise, Billo! Thinking kids as well as adults are smart enough to see through your phony crap. Let's just hope parents everywhere boycott O'Reilly's book, and DON'T buy it for your kids!

  • Lauren Devine
I find it quite ironic that this carnival barker has written a book for children -- Bill O'Reilly paid Andrea Mackris millions to avoid going to trial for sexually harassing Ms. Mackris, and he has the gall to preach about morals?
  • Winchelenator
Billo is actually helping our cause, just watch the video, all the kids seem to have a pretty good take on his character. I think the only reason folks watch this kind of drivel (O'Reilly), is because it empowers them, yup makes them feel smart, cause he such an obvious asshat
  • Edward Barrier
Bill, along with Clarence Thomas, George Bush, and the like are typical of role models suggested by neocons.
  • David McKeever
Bill O'Reilly should get off the air. Nothing good comes out of his mouth. Shut up!
  • Thomas McGonigle@ieee.org
Why don't we just send him a copy of "All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten" by Robert Fulghum? Dr. Flughum pretty much has it covered.
  • Marcus Hoover, Jr.
That wonderful human being Al Franken certainly put Mr. O'Rielly in his place. Take one of his books to school.
  • casey wollberg
Hahahaha! Great video. There are about zero kids on the planet earth who would fall for little Billy's hypocrisy. It's too bad so many adults (O'Reilly fans) are stupider than their kids.
  • Silvia Pan
Bill O'Reilly's tantrums put a teenager like me to shame. Also, just when we could escape all these lies that can be seen on T.V. by not watching Fox, O'Reilly decides to write a book. It would upsetting for people younger than I to grow up to be replicas of O'Reilly.

This video stole 3 min. of my life that I'll never get back! Thanks greenwald. You've given us NOTHING substantial or even factual about Bill. If you have any beef with the guy, maybe it's because he's far more successful than you are. In short, this blew FAR WORSE than you're blockbuster hit 'XANADU'. I didn't think that was possible.
  • BJ Campbell
Bill-o is the perfect object lesson I present to my two sons: He's exactly everything I don't want them to be. He's predictable, petculant, cocky, cranky, demanding, and demeaning. He's an educated Archie Bunker--my apologies to both higher learning and Archie Bunker. No wonder mostly old farts watch and listen to his silliness.
  • Steve Gustke
What a classic fascist move to try to get into the heads of the children. Maybe the bush-spit-licker 0'reilly thinks if this book sells his next move will be 'THE FACTOR Youth Corps'? ...The falafel meister with his little penis shaped vibrator buzzing in his ass should be kept far away from children.
  • Gilespie
You should know better. Trying to form an opinion of someone while only viewing outtakes that represent one characteristic is a waste of time and will not lead you to an informed decision. You have to watch it for a while (at least one week) and by then you will have enough information. Glen Beck on CNN is another one you should check out.
  • loretta
I don't think someone who has never raised children or has the kind of lifestyle that O'Reilly has should be giving any advice to parents or kids, period. It's tantamount to getting cooking classes from someone who has never owned a stove.

    Ridiculous.

Remember when Bill Bennet wrote his little book of virtues and then was discovered to be a gambling addict?

Billy needs to pull out the log from his eye.
  • Dennis
Hey when we hear kids yelling at each other and telling one another to shut up we say to them quit being a Billo and the realize what their doing and stop because they know that Billo does it and how mean it is when he does and that hes just a bully some parents didn't like it because their Billo fans but they've come around I sent them youtube vids to show what I mean and now their on point with it .
  • Patti Burke
I am amazed that any parent would buy this book for their child! Wow. The man is clearly unbalanced and out of control. He has bigger temper tantrums on air than my young children have in the privacy of our home when they are REALLY upset. He's rude and mean. He is a huge bully. I have no idea what he thinks he has to teach kids.
  • Kate
Actions speak louder than words. The example you set is the most powerful message you can send to children--and, frankly, to everyone. Have you considered the example you are setting with your actions? Is that really how you wish to be remembered?
  • Aloyisous Crump
Does all of Bill O'reilly's ranting and raving remind you of "KRAMER", when he had his moment?
  • O'Reilly is such an a__hole. My parents never sat me down to "teach" me to respect all people, or not to bully, and to get good grades. Just living with them, meeting their friends, listening to everyone talk about the world, our government,& civil rights & being part of my folks' eclectic, hilarious lives was a huge power of example for me. The best thing I can teach my son today is "never watch FOX news because they are racist as_holes" while we are watching Colbert or Stewart!
  • Don L.
O'Reilly isn't a bully. He wants to, but he doesn't have the backbone to carry out his threats. Hell, he couldn't even scare Al
Franken. Remember? And you have to be a pissant not to be able to do that. (Sorry, Al) O'Reilly is, however, a sexual pervert and predator who attempted to bully a FOX employee into having sex with him. She sued his sorry ass and he paid her a LOT of money. That's why I don't believe parents should allow their children to be subject to ANY influence from that perverted sex fiend.

It's obvious to me that O'Reilly suffered child abuse while growing up because he is so afraid of the world. It's his fear that makes him so obnoxious and such a bully. We should all pray for him and console him. Let's all tell him that we understand and "we feel his pain". (That should drive him nuts!)
  • Susan Escalante
Any adult who would expose their child or children to the angry words of Mr. O'Reilly needs to be investigated for child abuse. The man is filled with hate, racism and bigotry. Children learn from the examples they are exposed to. Shame on Fox News for allowing him to continue to rant, rave and bully people. The earlier post was correct, Olbermann is slowly driving O'Reilly over the edge.
  • Mark Schuknecht
Who greenlighted this trash? I hope I never see this book on the New York Times bestseller list. Everyone should BOYCOTT ANY bookstore that is selling this garbage...
  • BJHenton
Why don't we collectively ignore this guy. The more attention he gets, the more he acts like an idiot. I stopped watching Bill-O a long time ago. Fox News is racist, sexist and ignorant. They cheered W/Cheney on to war in Iraq. Boycott Fox News and they will go away like a bad habit.

    1. Don't interrupt people when they are talking.

While it is true that Bill O'Reilly gets ratings by being obnoxious, what's more worrisome to me is that a significant portion of people are attracted to his anger and abusiveness.
At the same time, I cannot help but note the verbal abuse that some commenters are heaping on him here. Remote communication makes many people feel free to be uncivil in ways they would not face to face. If we want to restore some civility to public debate, we do need to start with ourselves.

O'Reilly is the antithesis fair and unbiased, balanced journalism. He is a racist, a bully, and irresponsible. FOX should have dumped him, as he's also a moron. Even Limbaugh, though disgusting, has a sense of humor, which O'Reilly does not. I wouldn't let Bill teach my dog, let alone any child. His lies, and lack of ethics can only be superceded by Bu$h's.

I was taught at Home and by my Teachers to respect them. Is it too late for you to learn these principles? cathy guzior p.s. I was taught to never ever say Shut Up to anyone!!!!

Call, write & email O'Reilly telling him you watch Keith Olbermann on MSNBC. They share the same time slot & O'Reilly's goes bonkers at the very mention of Keith Olbermann's name. And, check out Olbermann's daily worst persons list which regularly includes O'Reilly...its a riot!
  • Peter Matuszewski
The real problem with Bill is that although someone like myself doesn't take what he has to say seriously, there are a number of people who do. Granted, most of them are in their 70's, but it's still frightening. People like Bill and networks like Fox News are what Paddy Chayefsky warned us about. It's creepy how far from far-fetched the film "Network" seems these days. Well, I for one am mad as hell and I'm not going to take this anymore!
  • William Hassig
Hey, Mr B.O., SHUT UP! You have an IQ somewhere below zero and are always ready to prove it.

Sadly, Mr. O'Reilly would be out of compliance with the rules in my seventh grade English class: 1)Treat others as you would like to be treated.
2)Conduct yourself with dignity at all times. Isn't the best lesson a good example Mr. O'Reilly?
  • Myriana Thelembuque
Ignorance is aggressive and Bill O' is very aggressive and stupid. I he had a bit of the common sense I learned from my parents and my teachers he will never talk the way he does. Those who listen and agree with him share his shabbiness an lack of wisdom. Go back to school and lear to be less of a white trash.

Bill O'Reilly is a puffed up purveyor of bloviating asininity wrapped up in a falafel obsessed cheesy body. His behavior defines him, his words condemn him. His piosity is deplorable. Other than that, he seems okay to me.

Billo, the next time you look in a mirror and realize one more time that you are a worthless bag of crap, this is what you do. Put a gun in your disgusting mouth and blow out the back of your head. I didn't mention brains because you don't have any that function properly. You are nothing but scum same as Limbaugh so take him with you. Thanks
  • karenriggs
while he's going back to school to learn manners, he ought to also take journalism 101 and maybe he'll learn the difference between a fact and an opinion.
  • sally strayer
I don't understand why Fox lets O'Reilly spew his "moral high ground" position when he was caught red handed in a sexual harassment case that he brazenly bought his way out of. O'Reilly is laughing all the way to the back and parents should veto his book for their kids.
  • LuckyLucy48
Bill O is just ignorant. He should be pitied. People like him just don't know any better and should be ignored. The only people who listen to them are people who are just as ignorant.
    T
  • Contact your cable/sat TV provider and tell them you don't want to pay for Fox News with your basic subscriptions, and ask them to move it to the extra-cost section. Tell them you want MSNBC and BBC on regular service level.
That will remove O'Reilly from a lot of homes, because we all know racists are too cheap to shell out the extra dough for news.
  • James Sparks
What a sad day that you have tried to tear down people like Bill O reilly and it is voices like his that protects your right to have this website. You people just don't get it.
  • maggymay
As BO says,"he's (Bill) proud to be ignorant!"
  • Lou R
On a human relations yardstick, Bill O'Reilly scores a Zero! Is this but another example of do as one says, not as one does? If there was an ounce of integrity withing the FOX Commentary organization, O'Reilly would be put out to pasture.
  • Kristofer Young
As Fox Attacks has done, O'Reilly's book should simply be paired with video of how he treats people on a daily basis. Kids aren't dumb; they will see the real O'Reilly.
  • vanessa mcknight
What will Fox put out next -- a Daumer cookbook?
  • Steve
Are people blind? Is the damage that has been done so invisible? Do they know that their dollars are worth less and less because of BillO and The Bloated One? How can you hold two contradictory ideas in your head? Doublethink.
  • snapdragon
Bill O really should be taken off the air. He never learned that telling others to "Shut up!" is rude, hurtful and infuriating; it also keeps him from learning anything from them. He never learned to tell the truth, to respect other people, and to accept his diminuitive standing in the course of ethics. I don't feel sorry for him: I feel sorry that his show plays on my tv and I can't block it and I feel really sorry for viewers who believe anything he says. They'll vote this country into oblivion.
  • Dan
Why is this video no longer available????
  • Lee
I don't understand how anyone could possibly be interested in anything that this man has to say. No parent should buy this book. Unfortunately I know several who think Bill-o the Clown and Rush (Give me some oxycontin) Limbaugh are the greatest and will rush out and buy his piece of crap.
  • Colin Archibald
I'm careful not to watch anything on FOX or FOX News, so that I don't accidently forget to change the channel and get exposed to O'Reilly. I like the "This man's stupidity is monumental" comment - there is nothing more that needs to be said.
  • E.P.
It's ironic that school children have more manners than this pompous ass that claims to be better than everyone else.
  • John
Yup thats Billo the Clown for u. THe biggest hippocrit that has ever existed let alone on televison.....I just wanna say thank god for Kieth Olberman and this website or he would be doing this stuff un-checked.
  • Sharon Moore
O'Reilly makes me laugh. I have never encountered an adult so childish, undisciplined or offensive. In fact, I never met anyone lilke him in my school days. I can't believe he really believes the things he says, and I can't believe that anyone watching him believes them either. I guess I've led a sheltered life. I don't know anyone who voted for Bush, either.
  • Jeannie Jackson
Watching O'Reilly on Oprah, he reminded me so much of a male version of Monica Lewinsky--he always had a hard look on his face, and he just couldn't wait to jump down someone's throat--what a pervert.
  • Betty Rodgers
O'Lielly's problem is his overly-inflated ego. He believes he's so much more than he is, which serves to only make him more disgusting. That pointy index finger that he's forever pointing at those that he tries to dictate to or those who disagree with him is the creepiest, most disgusting of all.
  • Wendy
Billo's a sad, sad little man, who probably learned his short-fuse and bullying ways from his father. And like so many people with problems, he's the last one to see the problem is there. He needs to take a long look in the mirror, and then learn some about anger management, before he tells my kids how to behave.
  • Aegina Barnes
The sad thing is that O'Reilly is too ignorant to see his own ignorance. Expecting the worst from people and then being surprised when they don't provide it is not a compliment.
  • Dorothy Blaustein
Mr O'Reilly should be put off the air. He is a spokesman for the Republican Party and acts like a fool. He disrespects the people of America and misinforms them.
  • Darla
There is absolutely nothing my granddaughter and future step-grandson could learn from this man. The best way to teach our children appropriate behaviour is through our actions and BO's actions leave much to be desired.
  • Donna
If what "the Howie" said that O'Reilly's ratings are growing and he (the Howie)reads the comments here to get a laugh why isn't there a campaign to get REAL good people to stop watching all the Fox hate shows? And put out lists of their sponsors e-mail addresses.
  • Tim Mullen
Mr O'Reilly should go back to school to learn manners, common decency and how to treat women without being a sexual predator that he claims to so despise.
  • Dr. Ray Peck
I am an 82 year old retired educator who believes
he is lower on the intelligence scale than you are
putting him. I am referring to "idiot", of course,
and it is time we ship him and Murdoch both back to where they originated. Yes, and throw Rush Limbaugh in with them. Not needed her3e.
  • rayman
Orwellian doublespeak -- say one thing mean something else.
  • IndecisiveJake
A wonderful vid. I am glad someone has decided to point out the problem with an O'reilly book for kids. Leave it to these youngens to underline and highlight his deeply depressed hyper-emotional nature. I almost feel sorry for him, he needs counseling.
  • Nancy
My suggestion is for Bill O'Reilly to go back to school. It's obvious that he was absent the day that kindness and decency were taught. As a matter of fact, he missed all the days when anything remotely nice was taught. I am so tired of Bush supporters thinking it's okay to talk to anyone who disagrees with them in the most horrible, belitting way. This country has gotten so rude under Bush's watch, and that's a huge reason why it will be a cold day on the Equator when I vote for a Republican ever again!!!!!
  • Art Glick
And it's your typical neocon ploy. Say one thing but do the opposite. "No Child Left Behind" leaves more children behind. Clean Air Act means dirtier air. Energy policy means more costly energy. Spreading democracy comes down to supporting theocracy, and on and on!
  • Cori
The TV was on the other night as I was doing the dinner dishes. My 10 and 13 year old were watching Bill. My 10 year old asked me why this man invited people on his show then screamed at them. He never lets them finish making a comment or answer a question, he is mean. They then changed the channel which is what I was just about to do. My 17 year old believes that we should block Fox from viewing. What a smart kid he is.
  • Dom
BO is the poster child for sociopaths. His advice to anyone does noyt count for anything as he embraces every posible negative behavior trait you can list. Least of all he has no place associating with kids even through a book. The further he is kept away from all of us (along with his sideshow of Fox Freaks) the better we all will be.
  • JohnZ
Bill O'Reilly actually wrote a book? Shutup. For all the whiners out there the best way to deal with any demagog be it Reilly or the ADL is refuse to patronize their show, publications or company. Money talks and makes bullshit walk.
  • Art Glick
There can be no doubt that this man is the spawn of the devil.
  • Bonnie
Bill, you apparently do not know the meaning of respect or you would respect your guests and those who do not agree with you. It's okay to disagree, but do you have to be so unpleasant?
  • RickE
O'Reilly, how much makeup does it take to cover the "BIG L" on your forehead?
  • SwampFox-82nd
Only problem with his hyninsy, he should have learned that long before he started school. The dude's a Yale spawned, bone-collecting, mental-mushroom. Sounds like he didn't have a daddy to teach his dumb-ass, to play like he is an adult. The real sadness, however, is knowing he will never, ever act like one.
  • Cheryl Kenter
O'Reiley seems to think that Hate IS a family value worth keeping and so is bullying. Hey, there Bill, keep your Nazi, right wing extremeist propagnda to yourself. The rest of us don't want to hear it and mostly we don't want our kid's to think that your behavior is accecptable in the real world... Your type behavior on a public street has been known to get people shot and killed... I don't want grandson to follow your example.. I want him to live to be a very old and happy man... Your way he would be lucky to live to adulthood. Your a BULLY plain and simple.
  • ramona
O"Reilly belongs in a classroom like a ABC gum under a desk.
  • ken
O'Reilly and his colleague Limbaugh are nothing but prejudiced, opportunist, fear-mongering, megalomaniac, blow-hards and a disgrace to America and to the media profession. The only difference between the two is that we have
to look at O'Reilly's face and he always looks like he's ready to bust out crying.
  • Paul Jerome
Practice what you preach, and then MAYBE people will attempt to take you seriously.
  • Diane Bee
Watching this comedy video starring Mr. Buffoon (who is a legend in his own mind) reminds me of a biblical verse: Pride goeth before the fall, baby! Billo's fall will be long, hard and painful. And yes, he is just another brick in the wall of shame that includes Limbaugh, Coulter, Hannity and the other raving wing-nuts who are incapable of understanding the concepts of compromise, moderation, and partisan cooperation for the good of all Americans. I suggest that the likes of this idiot stay away from attempting to warp the minds of our children!!
  • Zach
I was taught tolerance, respect, and temper. Bill was not.
  • Alex Andrzejewski
Bill, instead of just burying your head in the sand, why don't you bury your whole body and don't come out.
  • THEHOWIE
I love it. You liberals are so much fun to listen to Bill is a true American Hero and that makes you angry. I love it. His ratings get better every day and that just gets your panties in a uproar. I love it. Your site is so amusing. I love it.
  • Eugene DeForrest
Bill O'Reilly has nothing to teach anybody. He is disgusting as a pundit.
  • Theodore Kerhulas
Bill: You belligerent, bullying blowhard. Shut up. Shut up. Shut up. Shut up. Shut up. Shut up.
  • Hanne
The more ignorant -the more Violent.
We've had enough of your Extreme Propaganda!
  • As a teacher of 35 years I learned that one's example speaks louder than words. It is so condescending to children to think that they are inferior to adults and that they can't read a person's real motives through their actions and expressions. One reason I have taught teens so long is because I love their honesty, kindness to others and their excitement about life.
  • Suburban Philosopher
    O'Reilly = dumbass
    O'Reilly's fans = dumbasses
Any one who believes FOX is actually NEWS = dumbass
  • librophile
"cm" could not have said it any better. "cm" is 100% correct.

... "Bill O'Reilly, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Michael Savage, Boortz, Glenn Beck, Ann Coulter" ...

All screaming examples of why this country needs to "turn back the clock" and bring back the FCC FAIRNESS DOCTRINE.
  • Jim
The non-thinkers love O'Reilly...they crave someone that will tell them how to think about issues. It is pathetic that they have to turn to a bully like O'Reilly to satisfy themselves.
  • Minni
OReilly, please, please shut your trap. My grandchildren would no more watch your show or read your book than I would fly over Iraq and say we findly found WMD but not in Iraq. You are pathetic!
  • KJ Herson
Bill, don't go away mad . . . just go away!!!
  • Russell Buote
Just what this country needs. A Zionist teaching our children. o'reilly, crawl back under ruperts rock and the two of you live happily ever after.
  • Penelope
The really puzzleing thing is people listen to him as if he really knew it all. He tells people he is always right on with his answers and that he studies things so as to be correct. However he is wrong most of the time. He has set himself up as the end all be all with regard to politics, and how we should behave. Perhaps he should be a lot less narcissistic. He is but one of the right wing pundits who think they know it all!
  • Stevie
I was taught by my Great Grandparents when I was very young only rude people interupt others when they are speaking. Only liers cant handle other peoples comments. Get over yourself Bill - your just an as*hole.
  • Leith
It's entirely possible that his book might have legitimate value. That's the funny thing about hypocrites -- he may well be passing on valuable lessons that he just never internalized. Not that I have very high expectations, given the source, but it deserves a critical read before condemnation.
On the other hand, actually buying the book would be putting money into the wrong hands, so perhaps it's better ignored altogether.
  • Marcey
    Practice what you preach Bill
  • Steve Marino
Stop giving the guy a hard time. People who have limited intelligence tend to be more violent and use more violent language because of a limited ability to express themselves.

I am not saying that Bill O'Reilly is dumb he is quite probably very intelligent. I am just saying that that he makes quite a bit of money pandering to those with small minds.
  • Larry Lewin
I was a teacher for 24 years, both public and private schools. No student ever acted as badly and cruelly as O'Reilly.
  • susan
O'Reilly needs to actually READ his ghost written book on manners for kids. He might learn a thing or two.
  • Bob the builder
I think fox is stupid. we sould protest agaist them
  • Robert Morris
Years ago I watched this cretins show. As I watched, I found myself constantly saying, "That's not true". The man couldn't tell the truth if his life depended on it. He is merely a propagandist and water-carrier for the right wing, and a star to the uninformed.
  • Brenda Sens
Bill O'Reilly didn't need to write an entire book. All he had to say to children everywhere is, "You know the way I am on TV? Don't be that way."
  • Bob
He's even sicker than I thought! Why isn't O'Reilly in an institution??
  • mark johnson
Nice to the kid's are learning from his book,he should of called it his autobiography lol
  • LightShifter
There's some great advice in his book.... Now all he has to learn is how to take it to his own inner bully! I'm proud of ya Bill... Keep learnin!
  • Lon Hocker
Don't you think we are all really too hard on
Bill-O? Come on. When you think about it, there's really nothing wrong with Bill-O that could not be corrected with a kick, or punch, to the nuts.
  • lori Mele
parents.......please don't buy this book for your children. O'Reilly is a freak and needs to be fired from his position and then apply some crazy glue to his lips.
  • Karen
With all the bullies and blowhards dominating the airways (so much for that famous "liberal bias'), it's no wonder our political discourse has sunk to the level it has. If Abraham Lincoln were alive today, he would NOT be a Republican. We can, should, and must do better for the sake of the future of this country.
  • Liam
That O'Piley (my name for him) has a syndicated television program, feels that he's a best selling author (far from it), feels that his two semesters of teaching qualifies him to give advice, pretends to be some sort of authority on anything...at all only points out the very schizophrenic nature of Fox Propaganda Service.
  • cm
O'Reilly, Limbaugh, Hannity, Savage, Boortz, Glenn Beck, Coulter...

All screaming examples of why this country needs to "turn back the clock" and bring back the FCC Fairness Doctrine.
  • Don Morris
I don't think people like O'Reilly or Limbaugh really even believe the crap they spew themselves. I think they have found a part of themselves they can peddle for money and they are more than willing to feed the fears of hysterical, self-rightious, bible-pounding slow-boys as long as they can make a buck without doing anything that even looks like work. They are not journalists or commentators, they are whores, and to the Rupert Murdochs and others of his ilk that hire them, they aren't even expensive Ho's
  • diane
nicely done, robert! thank you - i'm passing this on....WAY on!!!
  • Robert
Bill: Tell the truth, for a change.
  • judith herman
O'Reilly's book is a classical example of the "pot calling the kettle black!" Bullies are all about power, out of control ego and intimidation. That sums up the essence of Bill O'Reilly. How dare he have the audacity to write a children's book about how to deal with bullies! Anything to make a buck and the sad thing is there are Americans who buy into his propaganda!
  • Jim
I stopped watching FOX News also, well before it was disclosed that they were mouth pieces for the Bush Administration.

Bill O'Reilly is an arrogant bully and it disgusts me to watch him ridicule people. I can't believe he has written a book advising children...I know I would not want my grandchildren to see him in action.

The clips in this video I believe show the REAL O'Reilly...who could respect him or that kind of behavior?

I turned Bill off a long time ago and I am surprised they is still on the air.
  • Delicious
O'Reilly should learn to tell the truth. He takes what a person of intelligence has said cuts it purees it and then spreads it like jam on bread. He does it on purpose as he knows there are people who are so insecure and ignorant that they will believe it...just like the hypocritical TV evanglists taking money for their own material needs and wants.
  • george rigby
Thlnking people would not let kids watch this rad example!!!
  • Brenda Reiss
Look in the mirror O'Reilly and you will see a huge hypocrite! There is nothing good that you can teach anyone. So, you shut up!!!
  • Nick
I suggest that O'Reilly should get AIDS!

P.S. Don't forget that he likes to drink the blood of Jewish infants because he thinks it gives him powers.
  • Judy
Sadly, Billo the Clown is a perfect symbol of the times.
  • Natalie Batovsky
O'Reilly needs to "SHUT UP!!!!" I state that using Billo's same hostile, ugly tone of voice.
  • Bill K.
Kim comments that she is "absolutely offended by the lies and distortions Olberman and Matthews utters (sic)." With all due respect Kim, could you cite a single lie uttered by Olbermann? I do not watch Mr. Matthews, so can't comment on his veracity of lack thereof. But I'd be most interested in learning of anything Keith Olbermann said that was a lie. Thank you.
  • Laughing out loud here. I think Bill should have read what the ghostwriter put to paper in his name.
  • mic gould
talk about hate spewing....at least o'reilly has legitimate anger towards people who filibuster and listen to pin-heads who take snippets from his brodcast and turn them into dishonest propaganda as this web site has done so well.most of you responding have obviously never spent any TIME listening or watching the o'reilly factor if your a traditionalist as most of the country is...there is no better analysis and no one more articulate, as for children he is doing more to protect children than any one... so get with it!
  • Linda
Having taught for 35 years, I have seen many bullies. Watching O'Reilly, it is very clear I have seen one of the worst ones. Bullies can't be taught a better way as long as they get the attention they crave from this behavior. The best way to silence a bully is to ignore him... O'Reilly is obviously a self-centered person who failed to learn any of the basic lessons of life: respect for others; honesty; and treating others the way you wish to be treated. It is time he was ignored (by ruining his ratings and not buying this book) and left to play alone.
  • Brian
He is just greedy. It is all about the money.
  • J. Ynclan
The greater tragedy is that this man is watched by other like-minded people, who revel in the ignorance and contempt that he preaches. My contempt for FOX is twice what they have for the American people, who they hurt by airing this vitriol as if it were worth something.
  • Susan
I think O'Reilly would learn something from the kids in the video, not the other way around.
  • Tont Kiernan
Aside from the fact that Bill O'Reilly is a bully,a racist, a liar and a blow-hard; underneath all of that you are probably a respectable mean spirited, self centered bigot. Kids will love your book.
  • Let's not forget that O'Reily is also a sexual harrasser and an adulterer! Some family values!
  • Leon
It would have been nice to watch the video, but unfortunately it could only be heard. A legend saying this video is no longer available on the screen screwed it all up.
  • Lynda Walker
Bill O'Liely and the rest of the Faux News Team are attempting to rewrite this time in our history. They speak to
SHEEP, who would follow anyone, anywhere.

We need to 'put it out there' to boycot all sponsors as well as all Faux channels.Maybe that will help.
  • Jeff Jansen
Fox News is for those people that cater to lowest common denominator material. People that don't know how to critically think are avid watchers of Fox News.
  • Charles Glandorf
When our daughter was 4 y/o she learned the words, "Shut up!" from some older kids and decided to use it regularly. When we heard her, we told her that these words were hateful, and if she chose to say them one more time we would wash her mouth out with soap. Within a minute she said it again and was promptly brought in the house and a swipe of soap rubbed over her tongue. She never uttered the phrase again. I will gladly offer the same threat and carry it out to Mr. O'Reilly when he spews that kind of hateful language again. Might it cure him?
  • Dana Ridgley
O'Reilly cannot discuss issues; his only recourses are invectives and scurrilous attacks on other's character. He has to scream "shut up" at others because he cannot allow truth and reason to be heard.
  • Barbara Schoeberl
Why is this guy on the air? Why does anyone give a hypocritical, right-wing, bigot, bullying, blowhard the time of day? Don't radio and tv stations have a moral responsibility to disseminate programing with greater integrity? Shouldn't we really be targeting the companies who give this guy air time? Shouldn't we be calling and emailing the sponsors of his shows and boycotting their products and the bookstores who carry his book?
  • brian a. hayes
bill, you can learn something from reading the works of Jean Jacques Rousseau. he stated "those who cling to power fear dialogue, because they posses neither the intellect nor the character to convince others of their cause. this is why you tell people to shut up or just cut them off. quit acting like you are a statesmen, you are nothing but a blow hard.
  • Kim
I don't watch O'Reilly, but I'm not offended by what he says. His show is an entertainment show about current events. They debate and he exposes people who lack ethics and morals. Of course the rhetoric gets heated. Too bad you had to go back at least 30 years so you could fill 2 minutes on the video. I am absolutely offended by the lies and distortions Olberman and Matthews utters.
  • Philip Barton
FOX caught me while I was young with shows like The Simpsons, but shows like The O'Reilly Factor have turned me away. At this point I haven't watched FOX in over five years and guess what? I'm not missing anything.
  • TACOM
O'Reilly is just your garden variety bully. He is a big guy (notice NOT man) and if there was ever someone his size on his show, he would be the one "shutting up". He's a coward like his heros IdiotBush and Rabid Richard.
Phil Donahue didn't take any guff from him when he was a guest on his show. Of course Donahue had intellect working for him against O'Reilly's idiotic bombast.
  • Cheryl
I think our "freedom of speech" goes a little too far in allowing someone like Bill O'Reilly to spread his hatred and bias over the radio waves, let alone write books for kids. He can't even act as a decent, humane person ... how on earth could someone trust him to give advice to children? That's about the equivalent of allowing George Bush to preach about "peace" and "truth".
  • Dave Lovelace
The more we pass this garbage around, the more we feed his ego and bank account. Do as suggested by Nancy Henry - avoid Fox. Money is the issue and no advertisers gets him off the air.
  • NANCY HENRY
I HAVE STOPPED WATCHING FOX AND USE TO WATCH IT EVERYDAY. MY FRIENDS HAVE ALSO STOPPED WATCHING IT. PERHAPS IF WE COULD PERSUADE INDIVIDUALS TO STOP WATCHING THE CHANNEL WE COULD ACCOMPLISH SOMETHING. BILL O'REILLY IS SO FULL OF HIMSELF IT IS UNREAL. HE IS A LOUD MOUTH IGNORANT LITTLE MAN AND IF I COULD I WOULD CRUSH HIM WITH MY FOOT.
  • Edmund Pawlowski
Not that Billo is a pinhead and a meathead he wiil be fired before the day is over. Thank yuou Robert Greenwald.
  • Jim Lang
this man has an IQ of a retarded chimpazee and should not be alowed to be on the air where children can hear his crazy rantings, and even adults should not have to listen to his crap.
  • Mary Devine
O'Reilly for kids is clearly an attempt to indocrinate children to become the sexist, racist, hateful adults the fuel FOX news...disguised as lessons about bullies. The same sort of hypocrisy as Bush and his "compassionate conservativism".
  • O'Reilly, like Fox are a disgrace to the media. I would suggest boycotting advertisers who support Fox and O'Reilly.

Alexey Braguine is the author of KINGMAKER, a tale of betrayal and injustice.
  • Lee Goodin, Major USAF (Retire
Bill O'Reilly should read Robrt Fulghum's "All I Really Need To Know I Learned In Kindergarten," where he would learn, among other things, to: Share everything, Play fair, Don't hit people, Clean up your own mess, Say you're sorry when you hurt somebody. Evidently O'Reilly was out in the schoolyard bullying little girls when these lessons were being taught.
  • Nana Price
WOW! We have reached a new low in America. Is this the American version of a madrassa? Let's raise our children to be hateful, bulling, bigots that scream "shut up" to anyone they disagree with? Bully O'Reilly was too busy screaming "shut up" in kindergarten to learn anything. Now, he's too full of himself to learn ANYTHING from anyone else. I sure don't want him to go back to school now, my grandchildren are there.
  • Ron Cohen
    Hey Bill,
I'm sure it wasn't just your teacher who taught you about telling the truth, being kind and being respectful to others, I'm sure your parents did that as well. Too bad that the above lessons never sunk in! But don't worry, you are never too old and it's never too late to learn. Remember it's truth, kindness and respect that you need to brush up on and re-learn.

Bill O'Reilly is a buffoon, along with Sean Hannity, Glen Beck, and others. What scares me is the number of ignorant, racist, fist-pounding, narrow-minded cave dwellers that feed off their one-dimensional propaganda. They originate from that same netherworld of politics, religion, and human nature that produces extremists/terrorists of all persuasions - and they will never understand that.
  • Only a network like FOX would even hire such an angry, dispicable, racist idiot to begin with. He couldn't get a job with a reputable network, that's why he's on FOX. What to do? Easy – boycott FOX network. That shouldn't be so hard, right? They'll get the message and he'll be out of a job. If enough people do this, believe me, they WILL get the message.
  • LL
My twelve year old son has a better sense of what you should be than Mr. O'Reilly. He knows not to tell people to shut up, respects others and their rights and is kind to everyone around him. Mr O'Reilly could learn a lesson from him.
  • James
The biggest bigot in the very long history of bigots wants to teach our children to be just like him?
Not in a MILLION lifetimes would I EVER even let that racist, overbearing, pompous, lazy-eyed hick anywhere near my children!!
I'm surprised that any of his listeners can even read to begin with.

O'Reilly makes me feel embarrassed to be of the same Irish ancestry as him. I consider him a "pussy-assed" Mick, who would run like a little girl if he encountered someone who didn't back down when he tried his bullying crap. But I guess that's what people who watch the (rabid) FOX network like.
  • barb taylor
I am a retired teacher and if I had used "shut up" like O'REILLY does, my students would have had no respect for me. Consequently, I have no respect for that man(?). I wonder if he uses that expression so much because he cannot give a logical response, or perhaps his limited learning/vocabulary only allows him to be rude.
  • Hyla
People like Bill O'Reilly need to just be ignored.
  • One of the best things I've seen all year.. There maybe hope for us after all.. Hehe
  • Paul_pa
Total abuse of Freedom of Speech.....dumb ass!
  • Sally Vitamvas
When I tried to play the video, at 2:00 pm, Central time, on 8/7/2008, the message "We're sorry, this video is no longer available" came up...even though there were comments posted within the past few minutes.
  • Dan Witt
O'Reilly is a sad, pathetic hypocrite and both he and his followers need a lot of therapy to get at the root issues that cause them to think they way they do.
  • betterdecisions
Mom always said, "Actions speak louder than words." Wonder what B's mom told him?
  • Joe Diana
Just a side not ...does is "Fox" an Acronym for fascist obnoxious xenophobes? I was just wondering. :)
  • Cindy Nicolaysen
    A Lesson for Bill O'Reilly:
Peace in our world, in our communities, and within our own spirits necessitates tolerance of others.
    Tolerance requires maturity.
When we do not teach and, especially, model tolerance, we stunt our children's personal growth and ultimately rob them of the peace they deserve.
  • bigcasino
If you have satellite, just cut his station off the stations that rotate thru your list. DirecTV and DIsh both allow you to set up a list of favorites which you can leave FOX out of. Oh, and you should be watching Countdown with Keith Olbermann anyway.
  • Joe Diana
Nice job guys but sending him back to school would be too good fro him. A prison cell for all the lies he told on our airways would be best. It is too bad that he actually has a following...the Nazi party of America perhaps?
  • michael
    Jane,
Unfortunately, yes. Not only are there people who take him seriously, there are morons who worship him.
  • Vanessa Picard
Bill O'Reilly has the right to say what he thinks -- as does every citizen. The problem is, he passes his vile hatred off as fact, not opinion. I, for one, will be teaching my son to respect all opinions and to form his own (something few followers of Mr. O'Reilly are capable of), and I hope that I never hear him spew such hatred.
  • Ralph Meyer
Unfortunately, this man's behavior and outlook, racist, bullying, and bigoted as it is, not to mention totally and unthinkingly self-righteous, is NOT the sort of person anyone who wants to see children taught good things would want anywhere near his or her children. In fact, it wouldn't hurt Fox's reputation were the man summarily taken off the air and sent packing. Let him spout his garbage in his own back yard, not over the air waves.
  • Carol Powers
Bull* O'Reilly must have written his book with (the smallest box of) crayon. You can tell because he can't color within the lines!

    *not a typo
  • Ron
It's too bad a decent human being like Tim Russert met such a tragic and untimely death and douchebags like O'Reilly get to keep spitting out their venomous lies. Do the world a favor and smoke up Bill and have a few more jelly donoughts too.
  • Pat Heller
Treat other people the same way you would like to be treated.
  • jane robinson
Does anyone take this guy seriously!
  • Joseph Walsh, Jr.
First of all, Bill should be re-taught that it is unacceptable to tell people to "shut up". Bill should be enought of a grownup to keep his ears, and more importantly, his mind open, because he just MIGHT learn something. Also, he needs to stop acting as if he thinks he's The Risen Lord. Jesus was wise enought to listen to other viewpoints, then share the wisom from The Father. Learn some tolerance, Billy!
  • William Sweetling
Per my mother's wisdom and advice during my formative years: "If you don't have anything nice to say about somebody then don't say anything at all".
  • Johnny
Get this racist idiot of the tv!
  • Josh
I guess Murdoch and the Bush administration needs somebody to spread their bigoted right wing agenda. They couldn't have found better fools than the likes of O'Reilly, Rush and the pinheads at Faux News who spin news to suit their Republican agenda. We as a whole need to boycott O'Reilly by doing simple things like not buying his books, asking cable providers to drop Fox News and Fox Business and most important of all, don't watch Fox News.
  • Rand
O'Reilly is obviously an idiot, and an angry, miserable, dispicable one at that. The more you play his rants, the more fuel his fire gets. Let it die along with him.
  • Michael P.Powers
He kind of reminds me of the pro athletes nowadays, like bratt farve...None of them are worth the time it took to create them!!!
  • Shanna
Clearly, the children are far too intelligent to fall for O'Reilly's "Do as I say, not as I do" message. If only their parents were smart enough not to buy them that book.
  • Sharon Ritchie
I really would prefer that someone with such low moral character not teach our children. What's wrong with parents who approve of this man giving advice to young, impressionable minds?
  • PADDY ROGERS
Bill your a shocker, a racist a bigot and a loud mouth.
  • PADDY ROGERS
Bill your a shocker, a racist a bigot and a loud mouth.
  • Uncle Bob
My late father, upon meeting the Rev. Jim Jones, said he felt immediately that there was something very wrong with this man, and that great evil could ensue. Upon first working with Bill O'Reilly on "Inside Edition", I got the same gut feeling.
  • Shirley
Kids are smarter than O'Reilly. They know the truth and who is genuine or not. They will keep that book shut.
  • Jodi Crivello
Annoy O'Reilly. Vote for Democrats, watch Kieth Olberman and fight for the restoration of the equal time laws in broadcasting and a new law that would require American citizenship to own and/or operate any form of media outlet in the United States. This would rid us of not only Billo the Clown, but Hannity, Limbaugh, Dr. Laura and all the rest of the rabid right wing. No more opinion masquerading as news. Then we could start work on stopping the Republicans from stealing elections.
  • Bob Pitch
I was schooled by nuns who did not allow any nonsense in class. In high school it was by priests who would crack you if you got out of line. O'Reilly seems to be hitting back at all authority on and taking revenge for a strict upbringing. His no spin zone has more spins than a yo-yo. He should get reacquaianted with truth and good manners.
  • O'Really and Rush Limburger make a perfect couple. Dumb and Dumber, but it's hard to tell which is which. But then again they may not get along I don't believe two perfect people can coexist.
  • Dr R G Betzer
O'Reilly reaches a new nadir of IGNORANCE and Bigotry...totally irrelevant and self serving
    IDIOT.
  • Gail Moore
Bill O'Reilly is an illiterate, vicious, psychopathic hatemonger, and the idea of him communicating with children is horrific. Adults can at least tune him out. I don't know who raised this man, or where, but the apple rarely falls far from the tree, and I can only surmise that he was raised more equally illiterate, vicious and hate-filled people who were isolated from the rest of humanity. He should be in treatment, not given a forum from which he can spew his venom to the world. Shame on Fox and shame on those who listen to this filth.
  • Henri Denis
Please somebody, tell O Reilly to take that hair out of his ass.
  • Barbara Bonner
Bill O'Reilly is a malignant narcisscist. You can look that up on Medline or better still read the book by Barbara Oakley entitled "Evil Genes: Why Rome Fell, Hitler Rose, Enron Failed, and my Sister Stole My Mothers Boyfriend." O'Reilly is pathologically certain of his beliefs and positions that leaves him unable to respect any positions or beliefs other than his own.
  • Jeff Walden
This dunderhead continues to bloviate with his cranium firmly in ensconced in his cloacal aperture. Maybe Fox News can pay for a surgical removal.
  • Nita
I think instead of the "Mister Rogers"-invoking photo on his book jacket...it should be a big juicy picture of a loofa.

Can you say racist, woman-hating, war-mongering, illiterate, bullying hypocrite? Huh, kids?
  • Bob K
In Palestine, kids are taught to hate Jews and basically raised to kill Jews. It looks as if this country is watching and believing in the crap that's on TV these days. Soon there will be children here with the same nonsense taught through the media and SOB's like Bill O'Reily putting out a book for kids! Teaching hate and influencing people through lies! This one sided view of the world is what will cause its demise.
  • Joe Baumann
The future of this country is in jeopardy if our children are influenced in the slightest by this crazed man. He must be stopped, it is the power he seeks!
  • David
I think O'Reilly should just "Shut the f**k up!". haha
  • Jeff Brown
O'Reilly quite obviously does not prcatice what he preaches!! The worst kind of example to set for young children!! What a joke!!
  • Jerome Cooper
how ludicrous, one of largest purveyors of one sided yellow journalism writing a book for children. What's next, a cookbook by Jeffrey Dahmer????
  • ACE
Mr. O'Reilly is absolutely irrelevant to me. This may be the first time I have seen him, but the language and abusive attitude he conveys certainly make it clear that I won't listen again.
What I do regret is that so many people find him entertaining or a source of real information. That is a very sad indictment of our national civilization.
  • dale
Bill O'Reilly, why don't "YOU" just SHUT UP!! Of course that is just my opinion along with MILLIONS of other REAL AMERICANS.So DO IT! SHUT UP!You're an embaressment to America
  • Andy
Of course O'Reilly knows he's a walking contradiction and a total bull-shitter, but he doesn't care - it's all about he money. He'd change his stripes in a heart-beat if he believed it would be more profitable. This kind of opportunism makes me sick - and not simply when its amongst "news" presenters, but also in the general public. So, even though Bill will continue to be Bill and makes oodles of money, the moral of the story is... DON'T BE LIKE BILL!!!
  • Anesa Miller
The only thing more offensive than O'Reilly's typical everyday antics is his claim to offer a role model for children.
  • Sharon
Why is this guy still on the air? Does a rich Austrailian (ruford murdock) really have to control what we watch? I love to see Keith Olbermann use him for a laugh, bill is almost always on Keith's 'Worst Person's' list!
  • LC
I swear this man has to be on mind altering drugs. That can be the only explanation for his behavior and extremist comments.
  • Probably what really gets me the most is the retarded way he and Bush and all the others talk about "getting the bad guys". It is typical of demagogues to talk in generalities, because if they ever were pinned down in an intelligent discourse that could be taken seriously, they would expose the sham that they are. Instead they say, "Were the good guys" and "theyre the bad guys". It can mean anything you want it to mean, and it means nothing.
  • Rr Cc
Everyone should Google "Propaganda Techniques" and "Logical Fallacies." Fox News and the Republican Party use them religiously. We need to educate ourselves to be able to identify these Hitleresque tactics and FIGHT BACK!
  • Christie
No wonder Fox news was the vice president's favorite news. Birds of a feather....
  • Sean Sardari, CPE
God help us if this moron teaches our kids. I mean this is a guy that’s full of hatred. Billy the clown is full of sh*t.
  • John Zeigler
May we all pray for Mr. O'Reilly, that he receives God's fullest blessings, so that he may be healed of his violent temperament and become more like Jesus. Wouln't that be as much fun as Liar! Liar! was?
  • DLOS
As a teacher, I submit that I have had many young adolescents who act more maturely under stress than this man. Neither rational children nor adults take him seriously. Sad, sad for him. He is probably fairly intelligent.
  • Mikey
I owuld have to quess that Bill O'Reilly needs to read HIS OWN BOOK. Amazing that he cannot see himself as the bully that he writes about.

Oh, I forgot he writes only for others never himself. Bill you need a mirror and some real soul searching.................
  • Ron Stephen
Everyone has the right to free speech, even Bill. After all, without free speech how would we know who the bigots, racists, bullies and morons are?
  • Ara Aroyan
Bill O'Reilly needs to be sedated.
  • Michelle M
Keep O'Reilly far away from our children. After the whole Andrea Mackris affair he shouldn't be near minors at all. Believe me I know him and I know the whole story.
  • Randy Stewart
As a number of others have pointed out, you play into O'Reilly's hands by paying attention to him. As long as he provides Fox Broadcasting with the material they want, they (Fox) will continue to employ him. So ignor him and suggest that everyone else do the same. Nobody watches, dislikes or cares about Mr. O'reilly, and he looses his job!
  • Sandra Cole
As a friend of Bill W, I can agree that Mr. O should be another friend, but I am afraid he would have to quit his job. The program requires "rigorous honesty", and this is one area where Mr. O and Fox are woefully deficient.

I am sure he would recognize himself in the Big Book, as one of those who still suffer from the inadequacies of certain character defects. That is why his obvious denial is sooooo huge.
  • riceroni
Mickey Mouse sound just like the kind of mindless lemming that be FOX News watchers. They are so "plugged in" that they don't even know that they're brain is nothing more than a chip getting it's daily firmware update everytime they watch the "right-wing propaganda network". Bill O'Reilly isn't fit to give advice on rearing rabid wolves nonetheless children. Mickey Mouse I sure hope your own kids (God forbid you actually have any) learn much better on their own once they're unplugged from the matrix of hate and fear mongering prejudicial enviroment that you'd raise them in.
  • Bob Mannio
    Hey Mikey Mouse.
You are a dumb ass just like Bill O!
Why don't you do your self a favor and start watching Kieth Oberman on MSNBC. At least you will learn something that is true instead of stupid.
You piss poor hateful neo CONS!
  • Danno
I was always taught the three C's growing up.
Cool, Calm, and Collected. I instill this in my children every chance I get. When you keep a level head, you have the advantage over your oponent, regardless of how intelligent they may be. When people become irate and upset during conversaiton, they become irrational and this can lead to the "bullying effect" but remeber it will get you no where.
  • bethann
Thank you, Curmudgeon7, you're right. I stand (sit) corrected!

Bill who? Never heard of him. Don't care to hear of him now. Sounds like a friend of Bill W's. If not, he should be.
  • Char
I was always taught as a child to keep your mouth shut and your ears open and you'll learn more. O'Reilly certainly has trouble following that simple rule and it astounds me because he seems so simple minded.
  • MARY OCONNOR
    Overpaid obnoxious phony
  • WWWexler
O'Reilly appeals to the brain-dead dittobot moron part of our society. Anyone who can reason, even little kids, can see through his BS. He spews a nightly screed of racism, sexism, jingoism, and hate that is Nazi-esque but very clumsy compared to Goebbels and his crew of propagandists. His book isn't worth the match. Just don't buy it. - Wexler
  • John Parker
Poor Bill. None of the major (legitimate) networks could see any value in him and ignored him. The tabloid shows realized he was a worthless, "egotestical" blowhard. He's proven to himself to be a sexual pervert and harrasser, which he and/or Faux News paid dearly. And this scumbag wants to teach children? Please. If I ever saw him anywhere close to my grandchildren, his ass would be grass and I would definitely be the lawnmower. Hell, I'd enjoy taking him down if I personally saw him. That's not a threat; that's a promise.
  • K.K.
Bill O'Reilly is kind of like Ann Coulter. His whole purpose in life is to provoke. The mere fact that we are letting ourselves be provoked by him shows that he's doing a pretty good job.
  • Mark Thompson
Keep your day job Bill. Polluting minds is what you're best at. You are a joke without a punchline.
  • Curmudgeon7
Bethann -- since you are validly concerned -- put the comma after "and"--NOT after "foolish." Otherwise, well done.
  • not as dumb as oreilly
The O'Reilly's of the worlds have been around since the beginning of time. Thers are the people who fulfill all the needs and tasks for the hatemongers to take over countries and create horror. We have seen them pop up in Uganda with Idi Amin, in the Balkan states with Molosevich. in Austria with Hitler and so on.

They serve no usefull purpose for humanity other than population control.

O'Reilly is really a poster boy for the contraceptive industry.
  • Teacher's Daughter
This loudmouth bully would have lasted about 2 minutes in my mother's classroom! She would silenced that mouth with just a few quiet words and he would be crawling out to hide behind his mama's skirts like the coward he is. I know some people who think his show is funny, but they are just as ignorant as he is.

The only way to get rid of people like O'Reilly is to quit watching him, reproducing his comments, and givind him the notoriety he craves. Yes, he is a racist, hateful bully... why are we watching him! By the way the term "redneck" refers to people who work outdoors, such as farmers. The back of their necks after years in the sun become a deep red color... like my grandfather. It is also a term used by people who don't know any better than to demean people in the south. Many of us can read, use a fork, etc.
  • Mike M.
At least one of your reader's comments suggested burning O'Reilly's book. Great idea! Censor what do do not agree with, as you have censored my previous post.

Congrats! You have now revealed yourselves to be no better than the Nazis!

Just a brief note to the people who post comments:
Please reread your letters before sending them. The misspellings and confused grammar hurt your valid arguments. I'd love to forward some of those good observations to conservative friends, but the poor writing makes the comments look foolish, and therefore, unconvincing. A word to the wise.

O'Reilly is a talking head. He performs day after day after day.
Any "talent," or professional talker, need to get their head in a place where they can perform their job.
"The No Spin Zone" O'Reilly refers to, is that personal place he needs to be in to do his job where his head does not spin off his body.
Being the emotional duplicitous person he is makes this difficult for him and the cracks often show.
His book is a useful tool for that most important of learned schooling skills, Critical Thinking.
  • Curmudgeon7
"George" suggests boycotting Orally's advertisers. Good idea . . . except: one would have to WATCH the show in order to find out who is advertising. Tell us George--then we can boycott.
  • Steve Bondy
Billy O'Reilly has the right to his 'freedom of speech' like us all but as a 'News Show Host' he has an obligation to be held to a higher standard of accountability where 'red' journalism or straight out lies are put forth to the public as fact. Only a station like "Fox" which markets ignorance and bigotry would televise this show.
  • griff
O'Reilly is a good example of the fact that media in American is a business without scruples. If he helps FOX appeal to a certain subset demographic desired by sponsors it matters not at all what he does, what he says, or how he behaves. Moral or ethical principles don't enter into it at all. That is why the media reform movement is so important! We need to strengthen community-based media and loosen the stranglehold of corporate conglomerates like FOX/NewCorps.
  • Michael Scippa
If we did not have a constitution that guarantees freedom of speech, this poor excuse of a sentient being would be in a cage.
  • Lisa Childs
Bill O'Reily and all his cohorts [CEO's of FOX etc] are seriously mentally ill. Their disease is infecting the airwaves and our entire population. This cancer must be irraticated permanently by telling the truth everyday everywhere. Thanks for making the video. I see many videos on the internet and u-tube produced by savy progressive organizations that show the true nature of these abominable people. Too bad these truths are not also broadcast on mainstream television.
  • Carol
BO does stink but Bill O'Reilly stinks even more.

I tried to write an email to foxattacks.com/kids a couple of different ways and it was not delivered.
Bill O'Really CAN'T handle the truth about himself.
  • Linda Ferland
This is a prime example of an ignorant, stupid white man. He's a racist, with no apologies. He's morally depraved, and vacuous! Send him to Venus--where what little brain-matter he has, will be cooked.
  • Joanne Stern
As a teacher and a parent I find Bill O'Reilly's behavior appalling. If I treated my students or my children in the manner Mr. O'Reilly displays quite often it would be considered verbal child abuse. I would be disciplined the first time I engaged in that behavior and then on subsequent times when I displayed such behavior, it would be documented carefully, counseling would be offered and, eventually followed by dismissal from my job. Mr. O'Reilly is the last person I would want to teach my children.
  • Tracy Walls
Dear Bill, please go back to Kindergarden. Learn how to share and play nice and maybe you can embrace some good human qualities to share with your oh so sad and misguided viewers.
  • Pass the Loofah
The king of passive-agressive behavior, steeped in mixed messages. I would no more have Bill O'Reilly dispense advice to any child I know than I would call in George Bush for a little chat. He is a hopeless, pathetic waste of skin. Please just go far,far away Bill. Or maybe another sexual harassment lawsuit that Fox has no choice but to kick you to the curb.
  • Lynn Weeks
...dear billy boy. Most talking heads like you outgrow it around the 7th or grade. Talk about arrested development...
  • R. Bigelow
What do you expect from a man who once said on his radio program, "South Dakota, as you know, has voted to outlaw abortions unless the mother's life is in danger, which is NEVER the case, because you can always have a C-section and do those kinds of things." 10/11/06 This man's stupidity is monumental and is only exceeded by his boorish behavior.
  • Darrell F. Colwell
If it were possible to totally ignore idiots like Orally the world would be a much better place. If he would just keep his stupid ideas to himself and keep his mouth shut but not that idiot. He has a fantastic trait of putting his foot in his mouth, which is good because it gives everyone else the opportunity to put their foot where it really belongs on his posterior
  • Hal Mark McDonald
When O'Reilly comes on I can't change the channel soon enough! He's terrible!
  • Lyn
The only angry adult I want influencing my grandchild is ME. Shut up, O'Reilly!
  • John Tkach
Bill O'Reilly represents for me all that is wrong with the world and therefore represents the Bush/Cheney administration.
  • Jason
I am afraid for "parents" who buy that book for their kids. At the same time though, I believe they will get exactly what they deserve when their child starts telling them to "shut up". Unfortunately, others will pay the price as well. Teachers for instance, who will be expected to put up with the ignorance, single mindedness, and cultivation of pure ego that Bill O'Rielly encourages. He may call that the American way. I call it caveman sindrome.
  • Mary
What's sad is that I know a bunch of people who watch this guy and the other idots on FOX news and are duped by them....hook, line and sinker.
And they're good Christian people....just kind of dumb.
  • Ed Unsworth
O'Reilly's hope is to draw as much attention, anyway he can, in order to "compete" for ratings that Keith Olbermann has garnered by revealing the truth about our society and government. O'Reilly should study Olbermann if he wants to be a successful pundit!!!
  • Kathy Hargrett
He's a hate-filled racist hypocrite like everyone on Fox News.

  • Colin Reeves
three words: what a jackass (don't know if "a" is a word o well). As I live in the uk and being a 15 yeahr old, just from seeing these clips, I think it's a case of do as I say, not as i do... How did he get on fox and be able to shuvle this crap into peoples brains!
  • David
O'Reilly is a profoundly stupid moron who bullies most of his guests that disagree with him. I can't believe he's brazen enough to think he can preach about the downfalls of bullying himself.
  • Jacqueline
I NEVER watch Fox or Bill O'Rielly. Unfortunately, I do see him on other shows, like the Daily Show with Jon Stewart. I give most kids credit in being able to figure out that a person like O'Rielly is a jerk and they would not put much credence in his words. Boycotting FOX is the best idea, and most importantly, expose your children to other points of view.
  • JoAnne
These children hit the nail on the head with this guy. He'a a racist, a bully, a liar and an egomaniac and now making a buck by peddling books to children is laughable.
When is his time going to be up and that whole at Fox Noise? I won't give that station a second of my time..
  • Paul
I teach 6th grade. If I ever became that explosive in my classroom, NO learning would ever happen. Modeling quality behavior and language is paramount. Bill O'Reilly does not model quality behavior or language. It's clear to me someone else wrote the book and the true author and himself are sharing the profits.
So, excuse me but I have to go set my classroom up before the kids come on the 25th.
  • Fran Stelzriede
I think it would suck to be "Billo." Usually when people bully others, there are things about themselves they don't like.
  • Don't you all know that if you disagree with King Bush, you are unpatriotic. But if you disagree with Hannity & O'Reilly at 'Unfair & Biased FOX News', you're an America Hater! So if your kids don't read his book they'll grow up to be America Haters, too.

So everyone, keep watching the 'Lots'o Spin Zone: Factor!'
  • snesich
You've only scratched the surface here. What about his sexual behavior? Does O'Reilly tell these kids that he used his status at Fox "News" to sexually harass and intimidate a woman who worked for him? Did he tell them that he had to settle this out of court, in secret, to try and keep this information contained? Did he tell kids that there are recordings of O'Reilly "talking dirty" to this woman, when she wasn't interested? What a fine example for kids. O'Reilly is a combination of Ted Baxter and George Wallace.

Yikes. I'm an adult and that was frightening. I educated my 2 boys early on and don't need O'Reilly's interference. I showed them this as a propaganda piece full of hypocrisy. Makes them want to dive for cover in a war-torn, profit-motivated, us vs them, destructive social situation.
BTW, why ever would a teacher compliment a child for reading trash? Some piece of relevant information was missing.
  • DebT
A better simile might be "Bill O'Reilly is to journalism what Tiny Tim is to music."
--Oh, wait, Tiny Tim can at least strum a ukelele.
  • in the GOP terrorist machine, this man is just plane evil. if he were a dog we would take him out back and "do what needs to be done".
  • RW Strauss
Personally, I think anyone who would give an O'reilly book to a kid, that person should be reported for abusing their child.
  • Roger Shunk
What do you expect from a guy that went to clown school.
  • Carol Shelton
You and your like, ie. Hannity and Limbaugh, are all examples of mean-spirited people, with seemingly little humanity. Dog fights are less becoming and informative than civil discourse. Reboot your morality, and come back on board the Human Experience.
  • Barbara
Bill, you are a large, strutting ass! I am a retired teacher, and I wouldn't have dreamed of encouraging students to read your book OR watch you on TV! You are the worst kind of role model.
  • Nancy H
I think the video clip on this website says it all. He does exactly what he tells the kids not to do. He really needs to cool it...I like that serious time out idea!
  • Doug Kinnear
In February 2008, Bill O'Reilly said, "That's wrong. And I don't want to go on a lynching party against Michelle Obama unless there's evidence, hard facts, that say this is how the woman really feels." Bill O'Reilly threatens a fellow citizen, and potential First Lady, with brutal murder on national TV and keeps his job. This situation speaks volumes about bully Bill AND what gets a pass in the American media. Imagine a TV personality threatening to hang Laura Bush - they would be instantly fired and arrested, and rightly so.
  • Kate Hawthorne
Although I've never watched or listened to Bill O'Reilly, members of my family have. To see the hateful transformation that has taken place in them since falling under his influence is all it takes for me to know what a putrid and festering canker he is on our society.
  • Jeff
Bill O'Reilly is antithetical to what he spews out, at least when it comes to abuse. A Mackris had the guts to not be intimidated by Billy or Fox and slammed him against the wall. And he crumbled like all bullies do when confronted with a resolute individual.

For all of ya Bill O'Reilly fans out there, Bill is a sexual predator and has done it on many occasions. Abuse, control, and arrogance -- that is the deal here. I see it but I do not understand why he (and others) are so compelled to engage in this type of behavior.
  • Graywolf
Billy O'Reilly thrives on ignorance and bigotry. Without an ignorant, bigoted audience no one would televise his show.
  • Richard Tassell
I get to watch this idiot on Fox News in the UK. He's a dangerous self-opinionated distorter of the truth. The answer is boycott! Don't go on his programme. He'll just be left with fellow storm-troopers to beat up! O'Reilly v Hannity would be fun!
  • David Hillhouse
My dream is to be one day be bullied by O'Reilly himself so I can put another lesson I learned in kindergarten to use--the lesson of punching a bully in the mouth.
  • The mystery is the very high ratings claimed for O'Reilly. It is frightening to realize that we can see one reason for the decline of the American nation in the terrible programming on the hundreds of cable channels. Collectively, those hurt our children -- and the adults who watch it -- far more than one bad O-Reilly apple.
  • David Palmer
I really don't know who O'Reilly appeals to, but he sure seems a lot of attention from Brave New Films. I wonder if a poll were taken, what percentage of people actually listen to the crap that this man extolls. Does he really believe what he's saying? Does anyone know him personally. Fox must enjoy all the attention this man gets but I would personally prefer to let him just sit in his hole by himself and ruminate on all the bile that he spews from his mouth.
  • Jamie P deVries
It sounds like Bill writes from experience...I hate the guy but can't support your cause Mr. Greenwald.
  • Adrien Burke
O'Reilly is a person I wouldn't invite into my home - he is infamous for his rude, bullying tactics; for raising his voice to shout others down should they disagree with him; for calling names rather than making valid points in a disagreement; and for making crude and silly invalid comparisons (such as comparing the KKK to Arianna Huffington).

I can't think of many worse people to hold up as a role model for young people! It's a little like asking a rapist for dating tips.
  • John Domitrovich
This LOUDMOUTHED, ILL-MANNERED, Over-Pompous Racist is a voice for America's kids???????????
  • Col. Dodd Meredith
I suppose we could send OReilly back to kindergarden but he'd probably crap in
    the sand box.
  • Carrie
I agree with Theodora Crawford. Boycott FOX advertisers - even if they are your favorite products! Money talks much louder than words in this country.
Oh, and stop watching the show for goodness sake!
  • David Giantomasi
O'Reilly is pictured by, and gives new meaning to the word......................DOUCHEBAG!!!!!!!!!
  • B BRIGHT
THIS IS ONE MAN I LOVE TO WATCH MAKE A FOOL OF HIMSELF.IF EVER THERE WAS AN IDIOT ON TV HE IS THE ONE. LOUD AND ARRAGANT AND STUPID
  • ERNEST
BILLO'S DAY IS COMING. UNTIL THEN, I DON'T PAY MUCH ATTENTION TO HIM OR FOX NEWS. HE'S NOT WORTH MY TIME!
  • susan
This is great, except I think you could have found an even better example of O'Reilly being racist besides the restaurant comments, because some might perceive them as against racism (even though they of course are racist). I think it would have been better to have a short montage of him saying all sorts of racist remarks, not just about blacks, but about muslims, etc.

    Susan
  • Mike B
Something I've tought my kids since they first began to speak and understand obviously evades Mr. O'Reilly: "Saying something is so doesn't make it so."
He frequently asserts as truth poorly researched (I say that with kindness) "facts".
  • Jim
Bill is the Poster Child for obliviousness, living in a spin zone of self-righteous self-deception. Hypocrites know the say one thing an do another, Bully Bill has no clue. But the kids in the spot the idiot commercial have him pegged.
  • Paula M.
Hey Bill, try treating others the way you would like to be treated. Try walking the walk instead of running your mouth. If my kid started acting like you, I'd get rid of the TV and take them for volunteer work immediately. Empathy, respect for others, an open mind, and compassion are not personality defects.
  • Susan Thorpe
There is nothing one can do to change willfull ignorance by arrogant bullies but it is about time that EVERYone admit that it is NOT unintended consequences from a man who just doesn't know better. He is a professional bully without scrupples because it sells to redneck, racist, nationalistic Americans. He stirs the hate and then claims innocense. Nice exposure!
  • JoAnna
Someone needs to tell O'Reilly to "shut up." while the video is no longer available, the sound is still there. give it a listen.
  • Carolyn Couch
I believe Bill O'Reilly is a mean spirited person--as are many of the Republican breed. He and they also re-write history. They are CONSERVATIVE--the opposite of generous. I don't expect anything from them, except more of the same nonsense. He is a talking head without a property functioning brain.
  • zipp
people finally get their fill of bullies and return the favor. watching bullies cry, "no fair" is a hoot. they can dish it out but they can't take it. it's time for billo to learn this lesson.
  • jbeezz
A children's book by BillO the clown! What sa farce. This man should be arrested for hate crimes instead of being allowed to tout a racist, bigoted book for children.

    Hey BillO.... SHUT UP!!!!
  • Dinah
O'Reilly--You are really blind. Seem to have lost sight of the fact there is only one way to become a better person. "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." Nature has written the way in the heart of each person. No matter what skin color, religion or nationality.
  • It's very simple, Bill. Open your mind more and shut your mouth more. your racist, sexist and uninformed attacks are setting a dangerous precedent and making you a laughing stalk. America loves someone who can reform himself, so please--go on and do so.
  • Seth McC
Bullies are only people who make themselves feel better by making other people feel bad.
Bullies want to know that they're messing with your mind.
  • Nick K.
It's tempting to dismiss O'Reilly and say that he's just in it for the money (which is true), but he has really done damage to our society with his rants. That's the tragedy of his career.

I've heard he's considering retirement. It couldn't happen soon enough.
  • don miller
this is a joke, right? O'Reilly giving advice on how to behave correctly? He is a poster child for everything that is wrong with our coarsened culture in this country--he who screams the loudest WINS--if that fails, make baseless smears against everyone whom you disagree with.

O'Reilly is to "journalism" what Britney Spears is to "music."
  • JWTaylor
Bill O'Reilly and Fox is all about the $$. The hogwash they present to the public is from a twisted mind group of individuals who need help. We should all boycott Fox's programs and maybe they will get the message that "WE THE PEOPLE" are not going to continue to accepted the garbage they are trying to present to us. THERE'S A CHANGE COMING TO THIS GREAT USA!!!!!
  • Albert Johnson
I do not watch or listen to this person, however I do hear him a great deal. Several of the networks I watch replay his rants and raves, I would be happier if he were ignored. I feel that those whom watch will not be dissuaded by any rebuke or ridicule of him. Try not to further his speak by rebroadcasting. Do you give him credence by doing this? The mere fact that you feel he has to be rebutted or shamed( as if he could be)lends some possible validity to his antics. Might he be more upset if ignored?
  • Sylvia
This racists is disgraceful. I am an educator and I beg you to please keep this crazy man from our children. This man actually said he couldn't believe Black's used forks, knoves and napkins. What a disgraceful and disrespectful bigot.
  • I think it's best to dismiss this unhappy fool without according him so much attention.
  • Sandra
The question that pops up immediately in my mind is, what respectable editor would even consider backing this kind of lunacy? I have no idea why anyone would watch his show. As for me, just his voice is painful to hear, so I never tune into him and his diatribes which are ridiculous. Fox network is out to make money, if his program sells, then why would they get rid of him? Just business as usual with the bottom line dictating.
  • Dave
The sad thing is... he doesn't even KNOW what a chump he really is! He actually believes that the American people hang onto his every word. It would be funny if he weren't trying to inject our kids with his ridiculous CRAP!!
  • Dan
You forgot to teach Bill O'Reilly to do his homework.
  • Aly I. Sarwar
Bill O. writing a book for kids is like KKK writing a book about affirmative action. This book should be burned.
  • Ed
One thing I learned in school (that BillO obviously didn't) when writing term papers was to only use "valid" references and supply a list of the references used. Can't just makeup statements to support your ideas without backing it up with hard evidence. Well, at least that's what I was taught...
  • pauly
It's hard to believe anyone takes O'Really seriously, let alone have their kids read his books. A mentally disturbed man who read O'Really, Savage and Hannity shot up a church recently. That's what happens when hate speech fills the airwaves and the book stores 24 hrs a day.
  • Heather
Mr. O'Reilly, maybe you missed this in school, but a good rule is that if you can't say something nice, you shouldn't say anything at all.
I almost feel bad for you. After all, judging by how mean you are to others, you must REALLY dislike yourself.
  • Walter
The killer who entered the Unitarian Church full of kids presenting a play and murdered 3 people and wounded many others was a follower and an avid reader and listener to the right wing hatemongers, including O'Reilly. His mission: to kill liberals. O'Reilly is nothing more than a domestic terror mastermind.
  • Bobbie
Well, I'll tell you this, as a teacher in a public school I can not say shut up to students. As soon as I do that parents and administration come down on me but the greatest loss is the loss of respect from the students I am working with and with the loss of respect I have little to no influence with the student. Maybe Mr. O'Reilly needs to stop and think about his loss of influence, he certainly does have any with me.
  • Ed

He and the rest of the FOX newsteam should start using the old addage"Put your brain in gear before you turn your mouth loose" Maybe their shoe leather taste's better than some other's. I wouldn't watch or listen to these guys even as a last resort. All they do is spill B.S.
  • Therese
The video is no longer available.
