Well, this video is only important if you believe in concepts like representative democracy and equal protection. We all know that votes were manipulated and outright stolen in 2000 and 2004 in a variety of ways in a variety of swing states.

And no, I am not talking about computerized voting, of which I am extremely suspicious. I am talking about things we KNOW happened: Discarded ballots with clear intent, long lines in inner cities and college towns where more progressive voters tend to reside, counting of ballots without allowing the media in, felon purges, refusal to count provisional ballots, etc.

For the Bush Era to truly end, and our democracy to be restored, we must once again have faith in our government. This cannot be accomplished only by electing progressives and prosecuting the criminals in the GOP who give our government the stink of autocracy. We must make our system of electing our representatives fair and fool proof.
