This is just the republican way of saying it isn’t. If Petraeus thought the war was making America safer, even if it was just his opinion, he would’ve said so. He knows the war has made the world more dangerous for Americans, but he won’t say it because he thinks it will hurt Bush. What a sell out and coward. But I’m sure Bush thinks Petraeus is doing a heckuva job. Just like he did when Gonzales kept lying and faking brain damage to protect his master.
