Seriously, how much influence the media has in picking who is and who is not viable is an important question. It is one I have often wondered. How come a one-term governor from Massachusetts was considered a more viable candidate than in the GOP than a Brownback, or Tancredo or Hunter, who have much more experience (putting aside the crazy policies of all these people)?

Oh, one more thing. The very talented new media team at the Dodd Campaign has done a great job on this issue with their time clock.
