"We would be aiding and abetting a President in his illegal actions." Say it again for the cheap seats Senator.

This is that simple. The President has broken the law. In numerous cases. If our system worked, he'd at the very least be out of office right now, perhaps somewhere worse.

The message is simple, and Kennedy and Dodd have offered shades of it. The current White House occupant is a law breaker, and one who is willing to get Americans killed to protect big business cronies (that is what his threat of a veto amounts to, a threat not to protect us unless his buddies are given special privilege to ignore our laws).

Democratic Congress: This is how you win. This is how you display courage. This is how you do what YOU WERE ELECTED TO DO.

This must not be the end. It must be the beginning.
