I am very excited to launch the debut of War On War, the first song from my upcoming cd entitled Free. It is my gift to you as a free MP3. I hope it inspires you to join us in the War On War Video Contest.
With the W.O.W. Video Contest, we invite you to express your vision and creativity -- your passion, frustration and truth -- by creating a music video edited to my song. Here's what you do:
* Listen to the song for inspiration!
* Create an original music video (like you would see on VH1 and MTV etc.) to the song War on War as the only audio, and in its entirety.
* We are providing unedited footage of me singing the song (at various angles in various takes), which may be incorporated into your video, if you wish. The footage has been shot against chroma-key green screen to give you complete creative control.
* The video can be anything you make it -- a story, original footage, clips, photographs, graphics, animation -- as long as it's your original vision built on my song.
You do not have to be a professional filmmaker! I hope that all levels of experience and all ages will enter to share their singular inspiration and perspective. It is my dream that these music videos will reflect all of us. It is my hope that participation in this movement is about more than prizes - it's about being a part of a wave of empowerment. It is the modern day sit-in. The 21st Century march. Raising our voices in protest is the single most American patriot act we can exercise. And it is a new day with new ways of protesting -- YouTube is a powerful and viable platform for that right. Join us for the sake of joining us!
The deadline for submissions is June 22 at midnight. ...But, don't wait! The sooner you get your video submitted, the more YouTube hits and votes you will receive.
A combination of YouTube hits, viewer ratings/comments and a panel of expert judges in the entertainment industry will determine the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners! There will also be one Honorable Mention. For more details, visit the Contest Info page.

We are in an exciting and volatile time in history. Republican Presidential candidate, John McCain, has expressed that we should remain in Iraq indefinitely. There are others of us who say Enough!
