There isn't one issue in today's world, from energy to technology, that wouldn't be improved if we worked on it together with Russia, says Susan Eisenhower, President Eisenhower's granddaughter and Russian expert.

There's a real opening to engage Russia around a set of issues where we can cooperate, says Susan Eisenhower. Space is a good example of a very successful U.S.-Russia cooperation.

We should never forget that Russia lost millions of soldiers in WWII in the fight against Germany, says Eisenhower. After the war we brought Germany into the community of civilized nations and we have an obligation to do the same for Russia, for our own security.

We must cooperate with Russia and other countries to solve problems, most importantly to continue to reduce nuclear weapons.

We should not deal with Pakistan in a mono-dimensional way. For example, on the nuclear question, Pakistan could be part of the solution to reducing/eliminating nuclear weapons.
