Okay. I was too kind in my previous video post. I've now looked at all the video of McCain talking about Hamas that I have, and I think he gives a different answer each time -- and three of the answers were on the same day! So here they all are in one clip -- enjoy. I wonder which McCain we are supposed to believe? Heh.

Apparently, there was another question in McCain's Hamas interview that had been edited out of the original I posted earlier today (from HuffPo).

This video has that question -- it was just posted on an anonymous YouTube channel apparently set up to defend McCain and attack Barack, but since this clip gives a fuller accounting of what was said in the interview, I think it's worth uploading so that you can have all the facts.

Perhaps I'm being too kind, but I think this walks back the allegation against McCain rather significantly. His message to Sky News was still far more nuanced than his message to CNN, but neither was it a clear embrace of relations without conditions.

That being said, it does not justify McCain's unpresidential attacks on Obama.

McCain is defending himself from the Jamie Rubin interview by pointing to another interview on the same day in which he had a very different attitude towards Hamas.

So I guess that means that his campaign's defense is that he can't keep his story straight?
