When you are dealing with the religious right, you must use their terms. Don't say that science says the Earth is 4 Billion years old. As soon as you say science they stop listening. Say that the Bible does not say that the Earth is 6000 years old. If they say a religious scholar says that it is, say that he is a human being and is fallible.
For this election again, point to the Bible. Blessed are the peacemakers. McCain wants to fight an immoral war for another thousand years. Huckabee wants to bring the Constitution closer to God. Jesus said give unto Caeser that which is Caeser's, give unto God that which is God's. It is Huckabee that is defying the Bible.
Otherwise religion should be a private matter.
