Based in Atlanta, Vientos del Pueblos performs Andean music, representing a fusion of cultures and rhythms combining African, European and American indigenous roots. Featuring Andean instruments like the quena (bambood flute), charango (Andean mandolin made from armadillo shell), zamponas (Pan flutes), and bombo (Andean bass drum), as well as guitars and bass, the songs of Vientos del Pueblo present a joyful experience that gets whole audiences up dancing.
