To quote an old song, "there's something happening here." People are sick of a venal, vengeful and vapid Vice President in an executive position--or not, if you believe his lawyer--where he can continue to do grave damage to this country's traditions and future.

Well you have all spoken. Yesterday, the video got 100,000 page views and just under 300 blogs linked to this effort, all in only 24 hours. We got terrific writeups from The Nation, Mother Jones, Think Progress and the inimitable Howie Klein, among hundreds of others.

Thank you so much everyone. 54% of the country that want to see these proceedings begin are not crazy. They are, in fact, patriots, who want to protect a nation of laws, and not men who shoot their friends in the face.

That's right, we said the "I" word. And you should be saying it too -- to your family, your friends, your neighbors, your pets and the hearty 26% of Americans who somehow still believe the Bush/Cheney team more worthy of sitting in the Oval Office than an undisclosed location stripped of all authority to further damage the country we love.

You'll want to say it even more after watching our video with the evidence for impeachment right there.

In another effort to protect delicate Faux News viewers from their own thoughts, Noise has buried an amazing result of one of its own polls:

This is stunning, especially since the question was obviously designed to play to the powerful illusion that Republicans are more reliable on national security than Democrats. So what does Faux say about this astonishing finding? Nothing! It is not mentioned once in their analysis on their website. But if you download the PDF, you can see it for yourself (pg 8, question 24).

BTW, I thought the whole point of the "war" on terror was that we were declaring "all-out war" on "radical Muslim groups worldwide". Have we been doing something else?
