I'm a white American. Bush went into Iraq on a pre-emptive strike. We weren't asked to come into their country and take out Saddam. We keep saying how the Iraqi's are supposed to take over the defense of their country. They had a defense of their country. It wasn't the best for their country,but they didn't have the jihad streaming into their country since we've been there. The Iraqi's are probably thinking that we'll jump start a democratic economy for them just as we did for Japan,Germany,Taiwan. The thing is there are people in Iraq who don't want this to take place. Maybe I should say Insurgents or Terrorists. I think Bush used these quite loosely to push invasion of the Country,but I've never faced a Terrorist so I wouldn't know one if I saw one. I disagree with most that Iraq should pay there way. If we were invited I'd say yes,but the fact that Bush pushed his way into Iraq we don't have a leg to stand on. I think we aught to pull our "horns" in and fix this country and enter the global economy at a lesser pace than what JW entered it. Dean Cook
