Kathy Kelly of Voices in the Wilderness was in Baghdad, Iraq during the aftermath of Bush's "Shock and Awe" attack. A music school was one of the places plundered by looters - people from the school gave her a tape of "Song of Peace.," sung by students there. She sang it herself in Holland, Michigan, to celebrate Jon den Herder of Holland Peacemakers in 2004, who was dying of brain cancer. - I filmed this then at Leaf & Bean Coffee House in Holland -- Wes Rehberg

"IF I REACH KINGDOM COME" (2007)
The polarcaps are melting/the ocean is rising/the seashore will be in Ohio/Oh me, oh my, love, I've heard it's true/On Doomsday, don't know what I'll do/but if I reach kingdom come/I'm hoping you'll be there, too.

A song from the perspective of the Great Harp of Ur which was housed in the Baghdad Museum. Professional looters destroyed the harp as US soldiers stood by without orders to hault the looting of the World's antiquities. Andy Lowings of Peterborough, UK has reconstructed the harp and has formed the Gold Lyre of Ur Project. Musicians from around the world request to play it. The heart knows why this story is important.
