June 29th, the Spirit moved me to leave hazy Berkeley and witness the peril threatening beloved Tassajara Zen Mountain Center. Making way up half-barricaded Tassajara Road, I first witnessed the care and concern of locals, then, a mountain-swallowing smoke monster stopped in its advance just before reaching Tassajara. Now, July 3, it has gained the Tassajara Creek watershed. Check sfzc.org.

Slideshow featuring 4th of July fireworks sampled on a slippery San Francisco Bay beach boulder tripod, then cropped and amped by Blix. These then woven with others from a March for Peace. And now, the Indians Fire threatening, this 7th of July, Tassajara Zen Mountain Center, a dear past home of mine.
Firstly and finally our The Star Spangled Banner, spangled by Hen-drix.
May FireWorques help fight fires of greed, hate and delusion, with the fires of hard work, compassion, and meditation.
