Jason, despite the historic 2006 election, with Sen. Tim Johnson of SD recovering from a near-fatal stroke and (I) Lieberman siding with the R's on every vote, the Republicans outvote the Democrats 50 to 49 on every piece of legislation.
Don't pack it in simply because the (D) agenda is being derailed by not having a large enough majority (or a willingness to employ the same crass political games as the GOP).
