After Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Admiral Mike Mullen, was asked on what he thought of a set withdrawal date (without regard for conditions on the ground) in Iraq, the major media networks selectively clipped his comment to suggest he was criticizing Barack Obama.
I compiled the media clips, what Mullen was *actually* asked, followed by video of what Obama has ALWAYS said about a "conditions-based" withdrawal from Iraq.

We are in the midsts of the largest transfer of wealth in human history. $700 Billion in oil revenue flows from the U.S. to the Middle East every year because a Republican Administration wasn't interested in weaning the U.S. off foreign oil.
While the U.S. is in recession, see how your petro-dollars are being spent by the Saudi's.

The UK doesn't lose soldiers in the Middle East every day like the U.S. does, so when they do, it's bigger news and they dedicate more time to it. They are also not restricted from showing the return of coffins like the Bush Administration does for U.S. troops.
How long do you think support for the war would last if we saw this on TV... night... after night... after night?

About once a month, my video, "Seven Minutes: the 9/11 split screen video", receives a comment from some Bush apologist saying, "He didn't want to frighten the children!" or "What was he to do?"
This is my video response to them.

From the 1997 PBS documentary "The Gulf War", an interview with former Commander of U.S. forces in the first Gulf War, General H. Norman Schwarzkopf and former Assistant National Security Adviser (turned Secretary of Defense under Bush-43) Robert Gates, defending the decision NOT to go on into Baghdad and remove Saddam Hussein from power after the first Gulf War in 1991.
An ominous and prescient warning totally ignored by the Neo-Cons in the Bush II Administration.
This is a re-release of my earlier video with the same title because YouTube kept cutting Gates off at the end.

In what can only be described as a giant monument to the U.S. military's failure to quell the violence in Iraq and unite the country, they have given up and are attempting to wall off the entire town of Sadr City, the home of the greatest concentration of insurgents in Iraq.
Think of this the next time they tell you "The Surge is working!"

With all the moronic discussion over Barack Obama's decision not to wear his religion on his sleeve (flag on his lapel), I couldn't help but notice that Chris Wallace, the host of Fox News Sunday, NEVER wears a flag lapel pin either.

Following the April, 2008 testimony of General David Patreus and Ambassador Ryan Crocker, President Bush warns Iran that their aid of the insurgency in Iraq threatens to turn Iraq against *Iran*. Wouldn't that be awful?

A global BBC poll shows a modest rise the worlds' opinion of the U.S. in 2007. The reason for the rise in optimism: anticipation that George W. Bush will be leaving office soon, and in other instances, the likelihood that Barack Obama will win the Presidency.
