When Republican presidential candidate John McCain got in a fight with the New York Times editorial page this week, Fox News was right there to stick to the McCain campaign talking points even when confronted with contradicting facts. To show you what I mean, I put together the several clips in this video.

When Pres. George W. Bush and Sen. Barack Obama BOTH agreed on unconstitutional amendments to the foreign intelligence surveillance act (FISA) last week, it raised questions about Obama's consistency on civil liberties and about how to best fight this assault on the Fourth Amendment and the right to privacy. When Republican governor and possible John McCain Vice Presidential running mate Bobby Jindal came out in favor of teaching "Intelligent Design" in Louisiana's science classrooms on CBS's "Face The Nation" last Sunday, it reminded me of John McCain's similar nonsensical position on teaching "Intelligent Design" which I criticize using clips from biologist Kenneth Miller appearing this last week with Stephen Colbert and on NPR.

It wasn't quite a "no spin zone" when Bill O'Reilly brought Megyn Kelly on to the May 15, 2008, edition of Fox News' "The O'Reilly Factor" as the legal expert to analyze that day's California Supreme Court decision in favor of marriage equality, as I show with the clips and commentary in this video. A lot of people complained about the bias at last week's ABC debate between Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton but it was the same bias you can find at all the major networks, a bias towards controversy, sensationalism, superficiality, and corporatism. Fox News, in contrast, has all those same biases as the other networks, but has, in addition, a clear ideological bias I've documented in dozens of YouTube videos in which Fox distorts the facts to help the right or hurt the left. Fox provided a good example of such bias in its coverage of last week's ABC debate when Fox deliberately misinterpreted an ambiguity in something Obama said, quoted it out of context, and created a contradiction that wasn't there, as I show in this video.

When Steve Brown appearing on "The FOX Report with Shepard Smith" yesterday claimed that Barack Obama supposedly made a "gaffe," I was not surprised to find that the real mistakes came from Fox News and not Barack Obama as I show in this video.
