Citizen Kate finds the key to peace at a Libertarian Pot and Tea party.
I went to my first ever pot and tea party sponsored by the Marijuana Project at the Libertarian National Convention in Denver. I was looking for peace. And there's nothing more peaceful than weed. Just ask the Native Americans. They passed around the pipe to stop war.
So I ate everything looking for "peace". I wonder if all Libertarian candidates enjoy the peace weed? Can you imagine Bob Barr smoking from the peace pipe? Or Mike Gravel? Or Lady Liberty? Think about it. If we all smoked weed, soldiers in Iraq would be laughing and hugging each other. Peace and hugs.
Note to self: We need to stop all wars, including the war on drugs. Even Homeland Security knows that.
Peace and hugs.

Citizen Kate finally finds the real party and learns what it takes to be a Libertarian.
I was so excited to go to the Libertarian National Convention in Denver. It was liberating compared to some of the other political parties I've been too. Everyone was excited to talk to me. So much so that I spoke with almost every Libertarian Presidential Candidate directly, including the official Libertarian Presidential candidate, Bob Barr, his running mate, Wayne Allyn Root, and the Democratic turned Libertarian candidate, Mike Gravel.
I learned firsthand that Libertarians stand for anything to do with personal freedom and less government. It's like they want to elect themselves out of a job eventually, and live a free and prosperous life. What's not to like about Libertarians? They love peace, drugs and rock 'n roll, which of course makes them the best party to go to.
Note to self: Become a Libertarian, to say and do whatever you want. Vote Libertarian to "help the other guy win".

Citizen Kate meets up with some A-list Politicians, including Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama and John McCain, at the Libertarian National Convention in Denver.
I'm so excited. I went to my first big Libertarian event--a masquerade ball. I dressed as the future Lady Liberty. Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning for...freedom.
The night was a total blast. Libertarians really know how to party. Wearing masks allows you to be free to say what you want any old time. I poured drinks for freedom, met Presidential elect Bob Barr, and hung with some of this nation's forefathers like Thomas Jefferson and John Adams. I can't believe it!
I actually spent most of my evening with Hillary Clinton. A lot of people don't know the real Hillary. But I do. She even sent me a personal email with a secret -- She plans to concede this Saturday. I know that she'll always keep what's best for this nation in mind. And the woman can dance! She's smokin'.
Note to self: If your party sucks, go to another. Democrats, Republicans, Libertarians, Peace and Freedom. You choose.

Citizen Kate gets tips on winning the presidential race from the first four time Indy 500 winner AJ Foyt, and his team's Indy 500 driver, Darren Manning.
AJ Foyt shared his thoughts with me on what it takes to be a great leader. I even got to spend time with the crew in the pit during practice. My prediction: Darren Manning will win the Indy 500...if the race is judged on looks. The whole AJ Foyt Racing Team is super cute, and I got to hug them all. I should spend more time at the Indy Speedway. Seriously.
Good luck, Darren! I'm rooting for you.
Note to self: Political campaigns are like race car driving. It takes more than one lap around the track to really get going and win.

Citizen Kate spends the day with the Amish and Mennonites in Indiana to discover how they feel about the Voter ID Law, which could take away their right to vote.
I spent a wonderful day with my new friends at the Miller Buggy Line Tours and Menno-Hof Center in Shipshewana. The Amish and Mennonites are simple, lovely, and very green people.
Al Gore should hang out with them to realize the real inconvenient truth is that this community of super green people people may loose their right to vote.
I learned firsthand what this community thinks about voting, the candidates and great leaders. So I spoke with one Amish man, and one liberal Mennonite, Joe Yoder, who's name is all over the town. Yoder's are very popular there. They must love Star Wars!
Note to self: Sometimes people choose not to vote. But they should always have the choice.
