I haven't found the link to what I just heard on NPR, about McCain's passport file being breached also, but here it is re the Clinton files (UPDATE- Here is the link to the info on McCain's files being breached)-

WASHINGTON (AP) -- State Department employees inappropriately examined the passport files of Democratic Sens. Barack Obama and Hillary Rodham Clinton, a security breach that forced Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice to apologize to Obama.

The episodes raised questions as to whether the actions by the Bush administration were politically motivated.

Rice said Friday she apologized to Obama for a security breach in which three State Department contractors reviewed his file on three occasions earlier this year. Two of the employees were fired and a third disciplined.

"I told him that I was sorry, and I told him that I myself would be very disturbed," Rice told reporters.

Separately, Clinton issued a statement saying Rice told her that her passport file was breached in 2007.

The Clinton breach puzzles me. As a former First Lady, it seems to me that there would be no additional information in a passport file that you wouldn't be able to find in public records, especially since so much of the Clinton's lives have been scrutinized.

Now that's fair...and balanced. Chris Wallace turned his Friday Fox & Friends segment, where he normally teases what's coming up on Fox News Sunday, into a smackdown of the show's hosts. He prefaced the six minute exchange by saying "I love you guys, but..."

Wallace, who said he'd been watching since 6am, thought "Two hours of Obama bashing is enough." He took issue with the characterization that hosts, Steve Doocy, Brian Kilmeade and Gretchen Carlson were giving to Sen. Barack Obama's "typical white person" comments.
