Actually, the Wright clips really are from 2007. Hannity has been trying to demonize Wright and his church for OVER A YEAR now. That's the problem — FOX runs a story, and the rest of the media thinks, "Well, if fox is doing a story on it, maybe we should, too..."

Edwards has not blamed homeless vets on the economy. He uses it as evidence that the gap between the haves and have nots is so vast and growing that even vets are being cast aside when they deserve so much better. And O'Reilly has never shown you a clip where Edwards links them. I saw an episode the other night where BOR showed one clip of Edwards talking about record oil profits, then a separate clip of Edwards talking about homeless vets, then said Edwards was connecting them. BOR doesn't show you the clip where Edwards links them because it doesn't exist.

Edwards never linked the two. BOR is just making it up, and you fell for it. You're a rube. BOR lies to his audience constantly because he knows they'll just believe it without looking it up themselves. He's just trying to direct the attention away from himself, and you fell for it.

I'm the co-producer of this video. Yes, the Obama 'madrassa' clips are older ones, some of which were used in Fox Attacks: Obama. We could've used more recent clips, like the ridiculous 'controversy' FOX was fixated on re: Obama not wearing a flag lapel pin or footage of him not putting his hand over his heart during the pledge of allegiance one time. We thought of using that, but it needed more context to set up and we didn't think it was worth it for a piece we wanted to be short. So we went with the 'madrassa' stuff because, like the Edwards 'phony' charge, it was the strongest example of FOX's bias, misinformation, and manipulation, and it was a word that was repeated over and over. This video is about FOX's attacks on Edwards and Obama, and we'd already done a video about FOX's treatment of Obama. Just because the 'madrassa' lie happened earlier in the year doesn't make the video any less valid in making the point that FOX treats Obama and Edwards horribly. Speaking of which, no internal investigation was ever conducted at FOX to find out how they got that story so horribly wrong when they could have just visited Obama's school as CNN did and realized the story had no merit. If FOX was a real news organization, they would've engaged in a lot of soul searching and either reprimanded or fired those responsible for such horrible journalism. But that never happened. I wonder why...

I’ve started a more aggressive approach to getting rid of troll comments on this blog. If they were from people who respectfully wanted to disagree and have a discussion, I’d respect that. But people like grayson and raz don’t. All their comments do is drag discussions into things that are completely off topic and kill the threads. It’s hard for people not to want to respond to or debunk their claims, which is admirable, but I really don’t want our discussions dictated by trolls and what THEY want to talk about. Imagine the blog is like a group of people trying to have a discussion about a subject, but a loudmouth asshole keeps coming in and saying things that are so outrageous, wrong, and insulting that the people in the group feel they have to address him. That’s really not what I want our threads to be, so I’d rather just toss the loudmouth out. Trolls like grayson and raz are not here to learn or discuss anything. They’re here to be pests. However, I very much respect your opinion on this, and i hope you know that this was not a decision I take lightly. I've had to put up with their trolling long enough. I’m just trying to keep the place clean.

Preventative health care is much cheaper than last minute emergency room/surgery health care. Universal health care from cradle to grave would actually be cheaper because illnesses would be detected and dealt with earlier and people could learn to live healthier lives instead of trying to manage it when it's at the 11th hour. Universal health care would also be better for businesses since they wouldn’t have to pay for health insurance anymore, which is why so many businesses support it.

I still don't understand why claiming to have seen a UFO or believing the Bush administration might've been involved in 9/11 is considered totally crazy, while having conversations with God is considered sane and even presidential.

Nice try, but bad lie. Murtha said that the military aspect of the surge has succeeded, which was never in much doubt. For every Iraqi election, it's been proven that we can flood an area with troops to temporarily keep down violence. But Murtha said that THE SURGE HAS NOT RESULTED IN POLITICAL PROGRESS, WHICH WAS THE GOAL OF THE SURGE. Funny that you call yourself Fox News and lie just like they do. Murtha is still 100% opposed to the war. Either you're lying or you're ignorant. Neither is good.

I think one could classify what BOR said about Manson as praise. It may be faint praise, but praise nonetheless. BOR essentially said that while Manson is a murderer, Manson would have the patriotic decency not to make Redacted. You could say “Mark Cuban is less patriotic than Charles Manson” is an insult to Mark Cuban, just as you could say “Charles Manson is more patriotic than Mark Cuban” is a compliment (albeit backhanded) to Manson, or vice versa.

And I’m not saying this sarcastically, but thank you to those who like my posts but just want to make sure I stay honest. I can definitely use that, as can all of us.

Yes, CNN should have stated where Brigadier General Kerr works for the Clinton campaign, but that in no way takes away from his question, which is a damn good one that the candidates failed to answer except to say that US soldiers are homophobes and their homophobia needs to be respected.

BTW, do you know who Grover Norquist is? Check wikipedia. Did you wonder how one of the godfathers of conservative ideology got to ask a question at the debate? Of course you didn’t. You lose again. As usual.

The reason why democrats didn't go to the FOX debate is because there's no point in playing a fixed game. You can't win because the game is fixed, and if you lose, you can only blame yourself for playing a fixed game. That's why they didn't go. Think about it, but don't strain yourself.

Actually, you missed it on this one. I have no problem with the Bush administration talking to Syria. Actually, i think it's a good idea. This post is about the hypocrisy of republicans, the Bush administration, the right wing, and the traditional media for attacking Pelosi and celebrating Rice for talking to Syria. Until we have more fairness and honesty in our media and politics, we'll never get compromise.

Congress is getting low approval ratings because they're acting too much like republicans, not ending the war, and the republicans have installed a permanent veto on all democratic legislation. The media is also doing a horrible job of highlighting their accomplishments, like increasing the minimum wage. Their low approval comes from the fact that America wants them to act like real democrats. The left is very upset with how democrats in congress are acting because they aren't doing what they were voted in to do. You keep thinking you're being clever. You do a horrible job.
