The Lord beith who he beith. His rap? Well, a superfluity of words, as in writing or free-flight speech; wordiness; verbosity...sweet verbosity. Lord Buckley was a weirdly-cool, rapturous American monologist. Man, like...within his solos, words flowed through his lips like inspired notes wafting from the bell of a saxophone. He chose and riffed verbiage like a proficient sax player chooses and blows notes to pepper musical phrases in a free-form solo. Yeah! Like that. Charlie Parker meets Mark Twain!

Last year (Oct. 2006). I'm attending today's (Oct. 27, 2007) massive march, and will produce video soon (I hope).
GET OUT THERE and VOICE IT!

As predicted, the corporate-owned broadcast media--in their never-ending effort toward keeping the American public as ill-informed as possible, while presenting a right-wing bias--purposefully chose to ignore massive anti-war protest rallies being held in over 240 cities across the country on October 5th, 2006. This failure of big media, which its very existence is due mostly to governmental deregulations allowing for only a few companies like AOL/TIME/WARNER, GENERAL ELECTRIC and Rupert Murdoch's NEWS CORP etc. to buy up every outlet available, remains as one of the most monumental travesties in American history. In my opinion, the industry's failure to do its job is inexcusable. Thank goodness (for right now, anyway, while it remains free) for the internet and outlets like "Brave New Films," "YouTube" and "Google Video."
Here is one example of unreported democracy in action, which took place on Oct. 5th, 2006 in just one of the 240 or so major cities....A huge rally and march in which I participated, (organized nationally by www.WorldCan'tWait.org), here in my neck-o-da-woods - Minneapolis, MN. The level of enthusiastic participation shown by a formidable cross-section of people of all ages and races was quite remarkable to witness. The level of excitement, expressed by our immense crowd, was equally astounding! Peaceful in our intent but yet determined, we as a group loudly proclaimed and demonstrated our feelings toward the present dangerous state of national and international affairs brought on by the Bush machine and the Neocons. We peacefully rallied in front of the Federal Building in downtown Minneapolis for a time, and then marched through the city (with police escort). All along the way, others showed their support from passing cars and from the crowded sidewalks. I can proudly tell you, that to the best of my knowledge, there were absolutely no opinions expressed in angry opposition to our protest...not a Bushite supporter to be found. And I can also report proudly that we all behaved beautifully...no violent incidents! All in all, it felt marvelous to be part of the process...exercising our democratic rights by turning our occupied section of the downtown area into a massive "free speech zone!" Thanks, M. Carlucci

*********************************************** WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! *********************************************** An EXTREMELY boring and pointless video (admittedly so) expressly made as an afterthought...an excuse, ... all » for the sole purpose of featuring my version of the 1960s classic by CREAM, "White Room," here on YouTube. This will be a part of an up-n-coming CD release entitled "It Ain't Pretty." ____________________________________________________________ Michael Carlucci - guitars, vocals, drums and bass.
