John Edwards did an amazing job in this debate even though CNN and their corporate owners and leaders like Time Warner and GE did everything in their corporate power to make this a Hilary Clinton TV promotion. Hilary had the seat of choice, she had the room full of supporters who were allowed to boo, and the so-called post-debate coverage by "experts" were people from the Clinton administration. How long will the American public allow the media to manipulate them like this? The only answer is John Edwards who has the backbone to go against these power hungry and greedy corporations. |

I've read so many posts from people who are outraged by corruption and the propaganda smothering our media and say they want change. Here is a man who doesn't just talk about change - he backs up his words with action. There was no doubt he won this debate - not only that, his leadership qualities obviously stood out over the others. Unite behind a man who is CAPABLE OF WINNING THE GENERAL ELECTION AND OF BRINGING THE CHANGE WE NEED! Check out his website - video, blogs, issues at johnedwards.com |

The following is what John Edwards says about ending the war in Iraq: "There is no military solution to the chaos in Iraq. Instead, the Iraqi people must solve the problem politically by taking responsibility for their country. By leaving Iraq, America will prompt the Iraqi people, regional powers, and the entire international community to find the political solution that will end the sectarian violence and create a stable Iraq. We must show the Iraqis that we are serious about leaving by actually starting to leave, with an immediate withdrawal of 40,000-50,000 troops and a complete withdrawal within nine to ten months. We should leave behind in Iraq only a brigade of 3,500 to 5,000 troops to protect the embassy and possibly a few hundred troops to guard humanitarian workers. We can only achieve these steps through legislative action. Edwards strongly supports the supplemental spending bill passed by both Houses of Congress and vetoed by President Bush that funds the troops with a timetable for withdrawal. He has called for Congress to respond to the President's veto by sending back the same bill—and doing this as many times as it takes for the President to end the war." |

Voting has not taken place yet! The only way the current propaganda machine can get away with the lies spread by the likes of Karl Rove, is IF we listen to them and DO what they say. The press was just as sure Howard Dean would be the winner as they are now sure it will be Hilary Clinton. I believe that many Americans have the ability to vote what they think rather than what they are told. Even FOX news can't come up with anything valid against John Edwards, so they pick on the fact he is for the poor, but wealthy. Come on!!! Are the Clintons wealthy? What has she spent on hair and clothes? Has it been made an issue? How about John Kennedy - was his wealth an issue? And how about Bush - John Edward's wealth is NOTHING compared to the Bush family, but the media NEVER talks about that! Americans, wake up! It makes perfect sense that the media is bashing John Edwards - they are AFRAID of him.

http://bravenewfilms.org/blog/16630-john-edwards-on-real-time-with-bill-maher I liked the comment that Americans need to get "patriotic about things other than war". |

Thank you Brave New Films for showing America the reality of FOX's smear campaigns. How people support this is beyond me. The truth is, Murdoch is afraid of John Edwards because he has the backbone to stand up to corporations who are bullying and brainwashing the public into keeping the "status quo".
