Since I'm only five and three quarters, the Bush administration has been in power all my life. And even I can see how

childish they have been.

They've lied us into a war, they've corrupted the Constitution, they've done torture, and the list goes on and on.

If we don't change direction in this country, there will be nothing left for my generation.

let's elect a mature adult.

We need change.

We need Barack Obama.

5 Year Anniversary Vigil protesting the illegal occupation of Iraq.the demonstration took place on Whidbey Island Washington at the Bayview Park and Ride, a few miles up from the ferry terminal. There were over 70 participants.

Carl Funk and Larry Mason were part of the groundbreaking Seattle band The Allies. The band was known for producing innovative, original music with hits such as Emma Peel and Heartbroken Man, and for many years was recognized as one of the top rock bands working in the Seattle area. After The Allies, Mason went on to play drums with The Brandos in New York City, and enjoyed a successful career both in America and Europe. During this time Funk was a lyricist for The Brandos, helping pen some of their best known songs such as Gettysburg and Anna Lee, all the while continuing to perform in the Seattle area as a solo artist and songwriter. Funk released the well-received solo album The Heart of a Siren in 1996, and later rejoined Mason (now playing guitar) to record and play live as Funk Mason. Together they recorded the CD Resurrection, and have gained distinction for the depth and musicality of their songs and quality of their live shows, which are strong on vocals and well-balanced harmonies. With the release of the new CD In an Instant, Funk Mason have added another chapter to their full careers.

I remember very clearly the daily fearmongering led by FOX as they cheered for war with Iraq.  The 24/7 images, sound effects, yelling and threatening were an ever-present drumbeat for war.  We had to invade, and we had to invade now.. anyone who didn't see that was a traitor.  They viciously attacked those of us who worked to get out the truth.  

You'd think that with the complete failure in Iraq, those days would be behind us.  Sadly, you'd be wrong.

FOX wants war with Iran.

It's almost too ridiculous to believe, but it's shockingly real.  We've already compiled over 4 hours of FOX footage... the same images, sound effects, yelling and threatening that led the U.S. to invade Iraq is happening right now to sell a war with Iran.  They are saying the exact same things!!
