Another Clear Channel-owned station up this way, KQRS-FM in the Twin Cities, has had no end of trouble by way of Tom Barnard's morning-drive show on KQ92 over recent years, giving no end of offense to the likes of blacks, Hmong, Asiatics, Somalis and (most recently) Native Americans with tasteless and offensive comments.

The most recent such (claiming that incest and welfare dependency were to blame for high suicide rates on the Red Lake Indian Reservation in northern Minnesota) drew such ire from the Red Lake Band of Chippewa that KQRS was forced to not only apologise on air, but also categorically pledged to hire Native American interns and give reasonable air time to Native American causes and issues.

How do we know that such offensive treatment of National Minorities is actually excused by Clear Channel Communications as one with "sound business practice" to the point of avoiding serious sanctions from the FCC?

Okay I know all you pornaholics will jump on the right to free speech and our first amendment, but this kind of trash is unbelievable.
