hearts and minds by targeting a different part of the anatomy.</a></strong></p></blockquote><p>An Israeli pornographic website is &quot;engaged in a sort of cultural exchange of bodily fluids with the Arab world.&quot;&nbsp; Ratuv, a porn site, tracked its hits to Syria, Saudi Arabia, Iran and Iraq, even though some of these governments block Israeli websites. </p><p>As a result, Ratuv translated the entire site into Arabic.&nbsp; And guess what happened? The hits skyrocketed. I wonder if Billo&#39;s gotten wind of this, what with his investment in falafels and all...but I digress.</p><p>But Ratuv isn&#39;t exactly your run-of-the-mill porn site. Ohhh no. It posts political parody porn. They spoof Israeli sex scandals and often feature Mossad agents or army soldiers removing their uniforms.&nbsp; </p><p>Needless to say, this is a unique peek at the Israeli military that the Arab world doesn&#39;t usually access. </p><blockquote><p>The next step, says Ratuv&#39;s manager, is to make movies with Israelis and Arabs performing together, in order to foster more intimate relations between the two peoples. </p></blockquote><p>&quot;Shtup! In the Name of Love&quot;? &quot;Is That a Dreidel or Are You Just Happy to See Me&quot;? &quot;Al Iraqiya TV: The Most Trusted Name in Porn&quot;?</p><blockquote><p>Expecting Arab men to be swayed by Ratuv&#39;s political content might be a little like expecting American men to read the articles in Playboy, but the site can&#39;t be any less effective in changing public opinion than U.S. media efforts to date.</p></blockquote><p>Can we hope for talks about a pull-out any time soon? Sorry.</p><blockquote><p>A U.S. porn invasion might not do as much to change hearts and minds in the Middle East as, say, toning down President Bush&#39;s bullying rhetoric toward the region or putting more pressure on Israelis and Palestinians to settle their differences.
