<p>In case you’ve been living under a rock with neither internet nor cable access, you might’ve missed <a href="../blog/38530-bill-o-reilly-loses-his-shit" title="bor tantrum original">this recently unearthed clip</a> of Bill O’Reilly experiencing, um, <strike>temperamental</strike> technical difficulties on the set of Inside Edition during his pre-FOX days. It’s good to see that the fame and fortune he gained from <em>The O’Reilly Factor</em> really hasn’t changed him that much — he’s still the same unhinged, unstable, belligerent blowhard he was when he had hair, and I’m sure tantrums like this date back to his infancy. And this guy actually thinks he’s an authority on raising kids?<br /><br />O’Reilly has tried to <a href="http://gawker.com/5009111/bill-oreilly-promises-more-meltdowns" title="bor more meltdowns">laugh this off</a>, but there’s plenty more fun to be had. In solidarity with his idol, Stephen Colbert released a clip of one of his own <a href="http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/05/14/stephen-colbert-imitates_n_101641.html" title="colbert meltdown">past freakouts</a>, and Keith Olbermann invited an O’Reilly-type <a href="http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/05/16/olbermann-parses-oreilly_n_102087.html" title="olbermann BOR body language">body language expert</a> (actually Stacy Grenrock Woods of the Daily Show) to talk about BOR’s dictatorial body language “mostly seen by your Benito Mussolinis, your General Pinochets.” Some terrific remixes of BOR’s meltdown have started surfacing, like this hilarious one from <a href="../blog/38991-hilarious-behind-the-scenes-look-at-o-reilly-s-meltdown" title="meltdown bts">Barely Political</a>, and even a <a href="http://youtube.com/watch?v=5j2YDq6FkVE" title="dance remix">dance remix</a>. <br /><br />So we at FOX ATTACKS! thought we’d invite all of you to submit your own O’Reilly Tantrum remixes! As you can see from the clips above, there are a lot of directions you could take this, so go for whatever you think is the funniest and most entertaining. <p><p>This little ditty is a remix of the <a href="../blog/38530-bill-o-reilly-loses-his-shit">video</a> that surfaced Monday, in which O'Reilly has a meltdown on "Inside Edition." The original O'Reilly video sparked a bit of a to-do because CBS had YouTube remove it from their site, leaving many blogs with dead links. I myself ended up with an error message to the effect of: "This video is no longer available due to copyright claim by CBS Broadcasting, Inc."</p><p>CBS does have a copyright claim because they own King World Productions (now CBS Distribution), which created "Inside Edition" originally. Of course, the more CBS intervened, the more the video spread. As you can see on <a href="http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=o%27reilly+goes+nuts&amp;search_type=">this YouTube search</a>, the video is now all over the place. So was CBS's copyright enforcement bullshit from the start? Didn't they realize this video was so juicy that determined bloggers would circumvent copyright restrictions? Or was CBS under pressure from O'Reilly or FOX? </p><p>Now that the O'Reilly video is out there, keep spreading it. <p>I don't think the American conservatives are getting the message. Matter of fact, I don't think they could be real conservatives. They can never fit the shoes of George Will and the late William F. Buckley.</p>
<p>Over three months now, and it seems that the Republican Party is looking forward to taking on the presumed nominee Democratic Illinois Senator Barack Obama.</p>
<p>But quarry the anger in the Black community. The death of Sean Bell has been received "local" coverage. This "local" coverage is truly an outrage in America. The mentality of the police and Blacks has been a touchy subject for years. I don't understand how the media could avoid this! And to think that the mainstream media is so focused on Jeremiah Wright is just an example of how corrupt the media is.</p>
<p>WorldNetDaily, a conservative opinion journal spearheaded this movement to smear Barack Obama. It's been led by Aaron Kline, a journalist who has ties to Jerusalem and a notorious history of falsehoods. Eric Rush, a conservative Black journalist has also benefited from writing the piece called "Obamanation", it can be found on WorldNetDaily's website. Kline and Rush have written smear pieces on Obama for the past three years.</p>
<p>Talk radio host and FOX News commentator Sean Hannity takes credit for "exposing" Barack Obama's church, Trinity United Church of Chicago. His feud with Jeremiah Wright stems from the "Hannity & Colmes" debate in which Wright confronted the falsehoods of his church. Now for over a year, Hannity has been on this mission to distract Americans. His audience is mostly conservatives who would not vote for Obama, so it's most likely I would not worry too much about the impact. </p>
<p>But in the terms of the FOX Virus, Hannity, Rush Limbaugh and Bill O'Reilly are spreading the falsehoods about Obama, while covering up their notorious history of bigotry and ignorance. They jump on a Black preacher for talking but never bat an eye for the controversial comments of Glenn Beck, John Hagee, Michael Savage, Pat Buchanan, Bill Bennett, Ann Coulter, Pat Robertson, James Dobson, and Rod Paisley. </p>
<p>In regards to the conservatives who are watching: I know this may seem to be a little out of your league but its simplistic! The Republicans are desperate for attention. They couldn't get Obama for being a Muslim, so they get him for being a Christian. </p>
<p>Now, if you are frequent listener to his radio program The Sean Hannity's [America] Show. Try to count up how many times the pundit says Jeremiah Wright, Bill Ayers, Michelle Obama and Hillary Clinton. Then during the three hours tally up how many times Hannity says these names. If you happen to get over 50 mentions of Jeremiah Wright, call his show at 1-800-941-SEAN and tell him: "I did a count on how many times you have mentioned Jeremiah Wright (or insert Bill Ayers)! I was wondering how many times you are going to mention the high gas prices, the war in Iraq, the war in Afghanistan, and the Sean Bell trial!" </p>
<p>Also, if you want to mention Bohemian Grove, the 9/11 truth movement, or the Republican loss in Illinois and Louisiana, feel free to address his show. I am preparing to call him out on his constant attacks on Barack Obama and his church.</p>
<p>Rest in peace to those who died in the Midwest, South and Western tornados! Tiffany Snow, former high school friend. Those who died in the Burma cyclone! Those who died in Iraq and Afghanistan! And to those who have died serving our country. </p>
<p>Thank you to Tanya Acker, Bob Beckel, Jane Fleming Kleeb, and Alan Colmes for at least proving that you are not FOX News Democrats!</p>

From <a href="http://www.nytimes.com/2008/05/02/business/media/02fox-1.html?pagewanted=print" title="fox dems">NY Times</a>:<br /><blockquote>The first part of the interview set a year-to-date viewership record for “The O’Reilly Factor,” according to Nielsen Media Research, with 3.66 million people tuning in, about one million above average.<br /></blockquote><p>Seems like the Clinton campaign can't get enough of helping their new BFF, FOX, despite FOX's 12-year history of dishonest attacks on democrats. </p><p>The article also highlights Clinton campaign chairman <a href="../blog/36988-want-to-know-what-happens-when-we-sing-fox-s-praises" title="mccauliffe ad">Terry McAuliffe’s baffling endorsement of FOX</a> and how it ended up in a FOX ad. In the ad, McAuliffe congratulates FOX for being the first to announce that Clinton had won the Pennsylvania primary. Since when does calling an election “first” make an alleged news channel more reputable. Did McAuliffe and Clinton’s campaign forget that <a href="http://youtube.com/watch?v=vJIGQyF2Yjo" title="outfoxed fox bush first">FOX declaring George W. <p>No Republican would go to speak at a MoveOn event. John McCain won’t be going to YearlyKos or the Take Back America conference, and you won’t be hearing him on Air America or see him talking to Keith Olbermann. So why are Democrats told and why do they continue to believe they should go on FOX?<br /><br />Chris Bowers wrote a <a href="http://www.openleft.com/showDiary.do;jsessionid=B9687C79E3C4706479C8A8CBC5B2F054?diaryId=5457" title="bowers fox context">great piece</a> for OpenLeft that explains why it’s important for Democrats not to legitimize FOX by appearing there, and why Barack Obama’s appearance on FOX News Sunday was a huge step backwards in the Left’s efforts to identify FOX as what it is — a Republican propaganda mouthpiece. I voiced some similar opinions in a post <a href="http://foxattacks.com/blog/37130-obama-legitimizes-fox-by-failing-to-confront-them" title="djk on obama fox">here</a>.<br /><br />And then Hillary Clinton appeared on the O’Reilly Factor. Apparently the chance to join FOX and the Republicans to talk about Rev. Wright for the 8 millionth time was enough to make her forget the way that FOX has talked about her, her husband, her daughter, her friends, and Democrats for the last 12 years.<br /><br />I’ve been seeing and reading a lot about these two appearances in the past few days, and “conventional wisdom” seems to be saying that going on FOX is a very good thing for Democrats to do. When I was on <a href="http://foxattacks.com/blog/37006-djk-on-msnbc-s-verdict-with-dan-abrams" title="djk on msnbc">MSNBC</a> last Friday, I was the only one on the panel who felt that Obama was making a big mistake going on FOX. But, as is usually the case, CW is completely wrong. <br /><br />Democrats, especially prominent ones like Clinton and Obama, should not go on FOX. <em>Never</em>. </p>

<p><p>Hillary Clinton is set to appear on the O'Reilly Factor tonight and tomorrow night. FOX has already begun releasing highlights like this one, in which Clinton criticizes Jeremiah Wright and his speech at the National Press Club on Monday. And while we'll have ample time to dissect Clinton's appearance and why on earth she agreed to go on O'Reilly in the first place, what needs to be addressed now is the possibility that an ardent Clinton supporter arranged Rev. Wright's press club speech.</p><p>According to the <em><a href="http://www.nydailynews.com/opinions/columnists/louis/index.html">NY Daily News</a></em> and the <em>LA Times</em> blog <a href="http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/washington/2008/04/wrightsetup.html">Top of the Ticket</a>, Rev. Dr. Barbara Reynolds organized the press club event. Reynolds has praised Clinton in the past, writing on her own blog: "My vote for Hillary in the Maryland primary was my way of saying thank you." She has also been unduly critical of Obama: "It is a sad testimony that to protect his credentials as a unifier above the fray, [Obama] is fueling the media characterization that Rev. Dr. Wright is some retiring old uncle in the church basement." </p><p>So to recap, a Clinton supporter arranges to give Wright a national spotlight to make incendiary remarks, forcing Obama to once again denounce his former pastor. Then, Clinton goes on FOX News to criticize Wright (and by extension, Obama) and the controversy that one of her supporters helped create. O'Reilly and his FOX pals, in turn, will use this as an excuse to rehash a stale news story that Obama has already distanced himself from. And then, to top it all off, the rest of the mainstream press will continue to play excerpts from this interview for days on end. When will this faux news cycle end? </p><p> </p></p>

<p><p>O'Reilly's getting just a tad predictable...</p><p> <a href="http://foxattacks.com/virus">We've all seen FOX</a> go after Jeremiah Wright and then smear Barack Obama by association. So it was no big surprise to watch Bill O'Reilly attack Bill Moyers for allowing Wright the opportunity to <a href="http://www.pbs.org/moyers/journal/04252008/watch.html">speak openly and defend himself</a>. O'Reilly calls Moyers that "far left PBS guy" and "pathetic." He suggests that Moyers should take a long vacation to Iran with Wright and Louis Farrakhan, and then he brings on Newt Gingrich in some sort of slanderous tag team. </p><p>But the real reason O'Reilly's latest smear was so predictable is that Moyers is the complete antithesis of O'Reilly. Not only do the two stand at opposite ends of the political spectrum, but Moyers also represents journalistic integrity, accuracy, and insight; he gives his guests like Wright the chance to speak for themselves. O'Reilly, by contrast, has gotten famous from bullying guests, telling them to shut up, cutting their mics, and using his show to espouse hate and lies. </p><p>And this clip is just O'Reilly's reaction to advance excerpts from Moyers's interview. Wonder what O'Reilly will talk about Monday night?</p></p>

<p>Its real title is called "Wright the Wrongs!" But since of the controversy brewed between FOX News and Wright, I changed the title.</p>
<p>After months of scrunity from the media, Jeremiah A. Wright Jr., former pastor of Barack Obama's Trinity United Church of Christ, has finally responded to the attacks on him and his church.</p>
<p>Art Golab a writer from the Chicago Sun-Times wrote an article stating that Wright said some scathing comments about Bill O'Reilly and Sean Hannity while attending a funeral of a former judge.

<p>The Chicago Sun Times also have audio of the entire sermon (Note: the media was not allowed in the funeral! So I don't understand how the reporter managed to get this recording from the church and leak it to the mainstream media. Once again, this is the media that you can depend on! I bet FOX News paid the reporter to get the coverage of Wright, after all they knew he was talking about FOX, and they needed a story about Wright). </p>
<p>Some of the comments that were made on [O'Reilly and Hannity]: </p>
<p>"Fox News can't understand that. [Bill] O'Reilly will never get that. Sean Hannity's stupid fantasy will keep him forever stuck on stupid when it comes to comprehending how you can love a brother who does not believe what you believe."</p>
<p>Now you know O'Reilly and Hannity will respond. I'll keep you posted on this "feud". </p>
<p>My written response:</p>
<p>My answer to O'Reilly and Hannity. Look here! You men are rich! You make a living on controversial issues! You do not care about the truth. All the things FOX News does is sensationalism. They make up stories without checking their facts. Now when people are attacking the network or you personally, you're naturally going to defend yourself. But in the case of O'Reilly and Hannity, they started the feud and now people respond back and they use the pity excuse. It's basically saying they go around saying that "Oh, he's attacking me! I was telling the truth! How dare him! He's going to regret attacking me!" That's what typical O'Reilly and Hannity do! Wise up! You can dish it out, but you can't take it! If you can't take it, "Shut the f*** up!" You people over at FOX News are nothing but "Republicans and Hot Babes!" I think the network only has just hot women, too much opinion and no substance.</p>
<p>I can't stop people from judging Pastor Jeremiah Wright, Bill O'Reilly or Sean Hannity. We have the right to criticize them, the government, the news media, television, President Bush, Vice President Cheney, or the candidates running for president!</p>
<p>The reason why I post these videos only tells the viewer: That I in no way support networks such as FOX News. </p>
<p>The main reason is mostly due to it's misleading coverage of all candidates and people they do not like. Not just Democrats, some Republicans (in case you forgot about Texas Representative Ron Paul).</p>
<p>So for those who are racist or ignorant, go ahead post your comments at the bottom. At least I show you people the diginity that I accept all comments.</p>

<p>In March, the Project for Excellence in Journalism released its annual report on the <a href="http://www.stateofthenewsmedia.org/2008/narrative_overview_intro.php?media=1" title="PEJ 2008">“State of the News Media”</a> in 2007. And with the Iraq war going so supremely awesome with gobs of “progress” oozing from the ground like so much light sweet crude, <strong>FOX has repeated as the cable “news” channel with the very least Iraq coverage.</strong><br /><blockquote><strong>Fox, in turn, spent less time on the war in Iraq than the others (10% vs. 18% on MSNBC and 16% on CNN). And it was more oriented to crime, celebrity and the media than its rivals (28% vs. 19% on MSNBC and 16% on CNN).</strong><br /></blockquote>But remember, FOX isn’t ignoring Iraq because it’s an intractable clusterfuck that they vociferously championed, then claimed was going <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BwPRO3zObd8" title="happy iraq">super hunky dory</a> if only the “liberal” media would tell you so. Or that it highlights the myriad lies and mistakes of the Bush administration, republicans, and their entire ideology. No, no — FOX keeps their viewers in the warm, comfortable darkness of ignorance because <em>that’s how you win a war</em>. Remember <a href="http://thinkprogress.org/2007/06/12/oreilly-pej-iraq/" title="BOR meaningless">this</a> from last year as Bill O’Reilly proudly defended his network’s lack of Iraq coverage?<br /><blockquote>Do you care if another bomb went off in Tikrit? Does it mean anything? No! <strong>It doesn’t mean anything! You can’t put it in any perspective.</strong><br /></blockquote>One of FOX’s mottos is “We Report. You Decide.” But, as I <a href="../blog/1169-o-reilly-on-pej-report-part-1-it-s-because-the-iraq-war-isn-t-news" title="PEJ 1">noted</a> last year, if FOX refuses to report on the Iraq war, how are their viewers supposed to decide? </p>
