They just can&rsquo;t seem to get it through their rocky neocon skulls that there are consequences to, as Hume put it, launching a &ldquo;devastating military strike&rdquo; against another country. Remember Shock &amp; Awe? What did that achieve except signifying the start of the biggest avoidable clusterfuck this country has ever seen? They really seem to think that you can launch nukes at a country, dust off your hands, and go home for dinner. After Iraq, how could you ever assume that it would be that easy?<br /><br />Kristol misses the point completely when he says it&rsquo;s &ldquo;ludicrous&rdquo; and &ldquo;ridiculous&rdquo; for the administration to explain why it wants to outfit B-2 bombers with bunker busters. While Kristol thinks it will be giving plans to Iran, the point is that AMERICANS need to know the extent to which the Bush administration is preparing for war with Iran, allowing them to chance to use that democracy thing to decide if this is really what, as a country, we should be doing right now.<br /><br />Also, there&rsquo;s that little problem of <a href="http://www.washingtoninstitute.org/templateC05.php?CID=2673" title="unilateral sanctions ineffective">unilateral sanctions being traditionally ineffective</a> and <a href="http://www.ucsusa.org/global_security/nuclear_weapons/nuclear-bunker-buster-rnep-animation.html" title="bunker busters don&amp;#39;t work">bunker busters being ineffective in destroying buried targets</a> while causing the deaths of thousands from radiation sickness, both inside and outside Iran. And the fact that I wouldn&rsquo;t trust the Bush administration to assemble Ikea furniture, let alone start another war based on their &ldquo;intelligence&rdquo;.<br /><br />When I started doing research for <a href="http://foxattacks.com/blog/10777-fox-attacks-iran?play=1" title="FA Iran">FOX ATTACKS! Iran</a>, I told people that the republicans would try to use Iran scaremongering against the democrats, just like they tried to convince Americans that Al Qaeda was rooting for John Kerry in 2004.
