It's also very interesting because one of the turning points of Obama's Senate PRIMARY campaign was a commercial with Paul Simon's daughter vouching for Obama, effectively in her father's name (Simon was going to endorse, but died more quickly than expected). It played over and over and over all throughout the state in the two weeks before the primary, and he ended up winning a majority in a field of 6 candidates.
