Adam Sharon, press secretary to Rep. Kendrick Meek (D-Fla.), and his wife, Abigail, a television producer at National Geographic Channel, announce the birth of their daughter, Eden Rose, who was born on Sept. 19 at 12:54 a.m. Eden weighed 6 pounds and 13 ounces, and measured 19 inches long.
"I'm outnumbered now at home," said Adam, "and I have no problem with that. It's an extra joy coming home from work now."
During paternity leave, Adam watched House floor proceedings with Eden, which helped lull her to sleep. "I've recommended this treatment to our pediatrician - it's a natural remedy that will never be recalled by the FDA," Meek's spokesman said.

First- I'm done with "Morning Joe". It's been difficult to watch, but this am when Scarborough found it necessary to lecture Mika Brzezinski (who "leans left" according to him) on how to interview Tom Tancredo, I just had enough.

Second- What would the people who call in to Cspan have to talk about if there was no fear of brown people or adoration of Ron Paul? I'm thinking there would be alot of dead air.

And yes, I'm cranky this morning.

But Henry Hyde?

A member of the House Judiciary Committee since 1975, Hyde served as its chairman from 1995 until 2001, at which time he served as the lead House manager during the President Clinton impeachment trial. Hyde maintains that the House was constitutionally bound to impeach Clinton for perjury. As Hyde was publicly pursuing the impeachment of Clinton, the Internet magazine Salon.com published a story about Hyde entitled "This Hypocrite Broke Up My Family." According to the story, from 1965 to 1969, Hyde conducted an extramarital sexual affair with Cherie Snodgrass.
