What I can't get over is that nobody, and i'm not just talking politicians here, didn't realize that OF COURSE the air would be poisoned/pollutted. I remember being afraid to go down to NYC that winter and breathing the air. I still don't see how you can blame Giuliani for that -- he wasn't responsible for the air quality. HE was trying to get a city up and running again. It's ridiculous to expect politicians to be superhuman.
