Skyrocketing oil prices in the second quarter of this year led ExxonMobil to report the highest ever record profit by an American company. Who else is profiting? And why are laborers not getting paid in the Arabian Gulf?

Answers to these questions and more on Link TV's Mosaic Intelligence Report presented by Jamal Dajani.

For more info, visit at www.linktv.org

National governments and national energy companies own more than 80 percent of the world's proven reserves of crude oil and international energy companies have no major places left to go and drill.

The Washington Nationals ballpark is the first stadium to be LEED Silver Certified by the U.S. Green Building Council. Yet the Nationals continue to accept millions of advertising dollars from Exxon, by far one of the world's biggest contributors to global warming.

We've had early success in our campaign as Exxon has already stopped sponsoring the 7th-Inning Stretch. Now we're looking to have the team's assurance that the park will never sell corporate naming rights to the oil giant.

Strike Out Exxon!

This should come as no surprise to anyone. As global warming continues to endanger this planet and working class Americans pay obscenely high prices at the pump, the corporate greed barons at Exxon Mobil just posted the largest quarterly profit for any American company ever!

Exxon’s fourth-quarter net income rose to an incomprehensible $11.66 billion, a windfall largely the result of soaring gasoline prices. Many believe Exxon and other oil behemoths are deliberately restricting supply to manipulate the price of gas, while the Bush administration continues to enable and support them.
If there was ever a reason to fight for political change in this country, this is it. We need to end subsidies for oil companies, reject energy lobbyists influence on government policy and support efforts worldwide to stop and reverese climate change.

In this March 5, 2003 broadcast, two weeks before the invasion of Iraq, Yale economist William Nordhaus was ridiculed for predicting a war with Iraq might cost as much as $750 Billion in war costs, $2 Trillion to the economy overall, and create $75 a barrel oil with $3 a gallon gas.

And in all this, he still didn't count military rehab or increased domestic security costs, so even HIS estimate was low!
