John McCain's attacks on Obama as Un-American are provoking people to inject racism in this campaign.</p> <p>Police say a campaign volunteer confessed to making up a story that a mugger attacked her and cut the letter B in her face after seeing her McCain bumper sticker.</p> <p>Pittsburgh police said a 20-year-old woman who originally said she was robbed and assaulted at knifepoint in Bloomfield because of her political views made the story up.</p> <p>Ashley Todd -- who has a backward letter "B" scratched into her right cheek -- confessed to faking the story and will be charged with filing a false report, Assistant Police Chief Maurita Bryant said at a news conference Friday.</p> <p>Todd, of College Station, Texas, admitted there was no robbery or attacker and said she had prior mental health problems, according to Bryant.</p> <p>It's not yet clear whether Todd's face was mutilated by her, or if she had somebody else do it, because a police report states that she told them she can't remember.</p> <p>Todd said she was driving around in her car, looked in her rear-view mirror, saw a "B," and the first thing she thought of was Democratic presidential nominee Sen. Barack Obama. <br />Police tell KDKA that a campaign volunteer has now confessed to making up a story that a mugger attacked her and cut the letter B in her face after seeing her John McCain bumper sticker. Ashley Todd, 20, of Texas, initially told police that she was robbed at an ATM in Bloomfield and that the suspect became enraged and started beating her after seeing her GOP sticker on her car. Police investigating the alleged attack, however, began to notice some inconsistencies in her story and administered a polygraph test.</p> <p>The student, Ashley Todd, of College Station, Texas, initially said a black man robbed her at knifepoint Wednesday night and then cut her cheek after seeing a McCain sticker on her car.</p> <p>Police say bank surveillance footage doesn't show her at an ATM where she says she was attacked.</p> <p>Todd, who is white, now says she was knocked unconscious and doesn't remember being cut. But as soon as Hannity went forth on his wife, the senator had gone into being a loving husband and will defend his wife. </p> <p>Of course, the media floundered her and according to the Associated Press/Yahoo Poll, Mrs. Obama approval ratings are high, but the disapproval ratings are just about as high.</p> <p>Senator Obama has made it clear in the ABC Good Morning America show, "better lay off his wife!" </p> <p>Now progressives claim Senator Obama's wife is facing the most scrutiny, while no one in the media talks about Senator John McCain's wife, Cindy.</p> <p>Before you cast a stone on any wife of a candidate, I condone anyone taking this type of road to attack a candidate. Regardless if you are Republican or Democrat, taking political shots at your wife/girlfriend and/or children is low class. </p> <p>Politicians, television critics, viewers, activists, actors, comedians, rappers, musicians, and even presidential candidates are snubbing Fox News! Over 12 years, and the most watched news network has became an industry joke! See how low the media goes! Ratings are enabled.</p> <p>I listened to The Radio Factor and The O'Reilly Factor recently. This is my take on Bill O'Reilly's outrageous comments. If anybody has audio of this exchange, send it my way!</p> <p>And this addresses the confrontation at National Conference For Media Reform in Minneapolis. Fox producer confronts Bill Moyers. FOX News now targets NBC News, Keith Olbermann and comedian Al Franken. </p> <p>The things you say will always come back to haunt you! I am surely aware that FOX News is engage in so many battles with those on they deem the "Far-Left". In the FOX News mantra, they label those who don't agree with them liberal.</p> <p>The liberal word is such a kryptonite to Democrats. How come it's the only thing that a conservative pundit got when they are defeated in a debate or corrected with facts? </p> <p>If you are a kooky college professor who pushes vile language in the class room, then you are liberal. If you are a radical politician that creates a bill or resolution that "some people or most Americans" disagree with, then you are liberal. If you are part of Hollywood and you criticize the Bush administration or Republicans in general, you are liberal. If you are an anti-war protester, you attend rallies to demand justice for the death of an unarmed Black or Latino person by the police, and then you are liberal. And if you claim that FOX News is a "mouthpiece of the Republican Party" then you are a liberal. If you think 9/11 was an inside job, you think we should talk to Iran and Syria in order to quarry conflict, then you're a liberal. </p> <p>This is what they do to Senator Barack Obama. They are working on former comedian and nemesis Al Franken. Franken is running for United States Senate under Democratic-Farmer Labor Party of Minnesota (a member of Democratic Party). And let's us not forget that Fox & Friends said it best that "Keith Olbermann is the face of NBC News!"</p> <p>So I was listening to Bill O'Reilly on The Radio Factor, and a caller from Compton, California called him on why [FOX News] is so hateful! He quickly pounced on her and claim,"Who are you describing....me!
