I'm a heavy liberal democrat, and I can't quiete figure out if his comments are meant mostly to make fun of democrats or republicans but all the examples you give are sarcasm. his bear example is not serious, he does NOT think they are a danger. I think that mean that he's making fun of people's blaming thing on the wrong people/thing and unwillingness to actually do something

Haha...assuming this is BNFs giving satire to the Satire Man (it's got to be...or else WT???), this was pretty funny stuff. BNFs isn't in the business of satire like Colbert is, so hopefully people can recognize this isn't a real attack against Colbert.

It seems to me these commentaries are inaccurately defining Stephen Colbert. His comments are high brow sophisticated humor. I am in no way, shape or form a conservative and I find his humor entertaining. In fact, it seams to me that the way he deals with issues with his sarcasm is meant to make the right wing conservatives look stupid... and he succeeds at that. Am i missing something? I don't think I am, take a closer look.
