Besides rehearsal, he takes you to make up, the red carpet, back stage and finally the ballroom itself.</p> <p>We start our adventure in the backseat on the way to the Emmy Awards gala at which Sam prepares to perform. We're taken behind the scenes during rehearsal of his "Bridge Over Troubled Water". You get to see the process with the band and his backup singers, along with stage management.</p> <p>Sam gets into a tux for the walk down the red carpet. After wardrobe and makeup, he heads to the land of microphones. </p> <p>Cesar Millan (The Dog Whisperer), is the first celebrity we see. On his way to Jean Smart (Designing Women, 24) we see a glimpse of Michael Urie (Ugly Betty) and Kathy Griffin (Life on the D-List) while Sam sings "The Emmy (Lady) Is A Tramp" in the background (from the performance later that night). Also a shot of the beautiful Leslie Caron (A living legend from the MGM days!). Sam poses for paparazzi and is stopped for interviews, so the camera is the voyeur at this point.
