The best way to have peace is to have a level of military strength that is other nations who would think about touching it would take a second look and decide they dont want to do it. Its kind of like looking at Chuck Norris and saying, I dont think so. And thats what we want. We want a military that is as tough as the idea of going up against Chuck Norris in a, in an alley. And, uh, quite frankly, thats what America has always been able, uh, to have that is its greatest source of its strength and its peace. And if we have a weak military, one that is considered vulnerable or that doesnt have the resolve, thats the military that is likely to be engaged in a battle because somebody would believe they can take it out. I hope we never have another war. But realistically we live in a very dangerous, brutal, ugly world and some people are filled with hate and a desire to kill others and to destroy their society. We have an enemy now, Radical Islam, that really does believe that they need to annihilate the rest of us on this planet.
