Michelle Obama</a> (nearly 500,000 views and #1 most viewed News &amp; Politics video this month!), the folks on FOX are simply shocked, SHOCKED! that Michelle Obama would dare say she thought America is a &ldquo;downright mean&rdquo; country where more and more people are struggling to get by. FOX had endless hours of &ldquo;analysis&rdquo; on this subject, claiming it proved the Obamas were elitists, radicals, socialists, America haters, etc. &ldquo;What country is she living in?&rdquo; asked disgraced Abramoff asshat Ralph Reed, as if no one in their right mind (even a black person!) could even entertain such a notion. In fact, I believe it&rsquo;s FOX&#39;s official policy that Michelle Obama&rsquo;s name may never be uttered without saying &ldquo;not proud of her country&rdquo; and &ldquo;downright mean&rdquo;. Of course, notorious racist Hannity led the indignation fiesta, claiming a statement like Michelle&rsquo;s is a wound that would doom the Obama campaign (but <a href="http://www.crooksandliars.com/2008/07/24/obama-in-europe-people-of-berlin-people-of-the-world-this-is-our-moment-this-is-our-time/" title="germans obama">don&rsquo;t tell the Germans</a>).<br /><br />So, in the name of Fairness and Balance, you&rsquo;d expect Hannity to have a fraction of the same indignation towards Phil Gramm, John McCain&rsquo;s top economic advisor (and stinking rich UBS bank chairman), when he proclaimed that <a href="http://www.washtimes.com/news/2008/jul/09/mccain-adviser-addresses-mental-recession/" title="gramm whine">America is a &ldquo;nation of whiners&rdquo;</a> and that <a href="http://www.washtimes.com/news/2008/jul/09/mccain-adviser-addresses-mental-recession/" title="mental">the suffering of millions of Americans under the Bush economy is simply a &ldquo;mental&rdquo; problem</a>. You&rsquo;d expect that &mdash; but that means you are unfamiliar with the depths of hypocritical asshattery that is Sean Hannity. Before we claim the "LIBERAL BIAS" label, let's review the facts. <br />Barack Obama, presidential candidate and senator from Illinois. On a tour of the Middle East, Europe and Asia, Senator Obama has been gathering support from many leaders. Of course, Fox News is not on the tour with senator. I guess, when the media covers Senator Barack Obama, we'll see him walk the "safe streets" of Baghdad in a bulletproof vest and have hundreds of military soldiers, two Blackhawk helicopters and at least one hour to meet the people in the city. Of course, last year April 2007, Senator John McCain was there and made his most embarrassing move by saying Iraq is safer, but went forth with a bulletproof vest and hundreds of military guards. That move was panned by the media. McCain proudly said that the media was his base! In March 2008, all the conservatives were in an uproar over two things. Jeremiah Wright and Senator Hillary Clinton's Bosnia gaffe, come to mind. Of course, with the Jeremiah Wright issue surfaced; the conservatives were all over it. They practically ignored Senator McCain's Iraq coverage because they were in dismay that he was their Republican presumptive nominee. </p> <p>Senator Barack Obama, Congressman Robert Wexler, MoveOn.org, ColorOfChange, and rapper Nas are protesting Fox News [Bill O'Reilly, John Gibson, Juan Williams, Sean Hannity, and Michelle Malkin]. Once again, Obama may have "frozen" Fox News again? Can we say Madrassah, Madrassah or Barack Hussein Obama! Or can we say the "liberal media" once again? Whatever Fox News!</p> <p>Robert Wexler, Florida Democratic congressman is the one who helped Dennis Kucinich draft the Articles of Impeachment on President Bush. The congressman is a "proud liberal" and has been taking on Fox News for many years. Bill O'Reilly sends his stalkerazi Geoff Jenkins confront Wexler. O'Reilly wants to "expose" Wexler for living in Maryland while being a representative of Florida. Ok, why don't we go after President Bush, Senator John McCain and many other congressmen for living? </p> <p>Gavin Newsom, mayor of San Francisco is under fire. Fox News blames him for deaths of a woman's family being killed by a gang member who is an illegal immigrant. Fox News is now claiming that San Francisco is a "sanctuary city" for allowing illegal immigrants immunity from U.S. Customs. I don't know the policy of San Francisco, but I can say that this has been longer than Newsom's term. Newsom is ranked one of the most popular mayors in the nation. Fox News is going after him and his constituents are not tolerating that! </p> <p>Nas, a New York rapper was criticized by Bill O'Reilly after he was to perform at Virginia Tech University. The MoveOn.org group and ColorOfChange teamed up with the rapper to denounce the media. Nas released "Sly Fox" going after the network. Other rappers who were targeted by the network included Ludacris, Jay-Z, DMX, Jam Master Jay, Snoop Dogg, Kanye West, Eminem, and rival rapper 50 Cent. </p> <p>What we do... First denounce them as "Opinion Media". Keep reminding your conservative friends that Roger Ailes, Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity, Greta Van Susteren, Brit Hume, Geraldo Rivera, Alan Colmes, Steve Doocy, Gretchen Carlson, Brian Kilmeade, Bill Hemmer, Megyn Kelly, Jon Scott, Jane Skinner, Martha McCallum, Trace Gallagher, Shepard Smith, John Gibson, Chris Wallace, Neil Cavuto, E.D. That story has since made it way around the world via youtube and other video sites. I saw the story when it aired and directed many friends to the video on youtube. Then not too long ago I saw a teaser for a related story about turning your car into a water burning hybrid. I truly thought they were about to do another story about the technology of using water as a fuel. That didn't turn out to be the case. They had Scotty Kilmer a quack mechanic who does a weekend segment on a different Houston News station come on as their "expert" to debunk all of this HHO stuff. <br />When I saw the story I was stunned. It totally ignored the previous story that I saw. So I decided to do a little research to see if there was more info on the web. That's when I found out that the website they're showing in the news report appears to be Denny Klein's website.(He's the guy interviewed in the first story. I mean over the past five months, the talk radio and Fox News commentator has been railing on Michelle Obama for her "first time in her adult life, I'm [truly] proud of my country....." But as soon as Hannity went forth on his wife, the senator had gone into being a loving husband and will defend his wife. </p> <p>Of course, the media floundered her and according to the Associated Press/Yahoo Poll, Mrs. Obama approval ratings are high, but the disapproval ratings are just about as high.</p> <p>Senator Obama has made it clear in the ABC Good Morning America show, "better lay off his wife!" </p> <p>Now progressives claim Senator Obama's wife is facing the most scrutiny, while no one in the media talks about Senator John McCain's wife, Cindy.</p> <p>Before you cast a stone on any wife of a candidate, I condone anyone taking this type of road to attack a candidate. Regardless if you are Republican or Democrat, taking political shots at your wife/girlfriend and/or children is low class. </p> <p>Politicians, television critics, viewers, activists, actors, comedians, rappers, musicians, and even presidential candidates are snubbing Fox News! Over 12 years, and the most watched news network has became an industry joke! See how low the media goes! And the network's impact will gravely hurt the Republicans in the general election.</p> <p>So therefore, why worry about my opinion! Notice about half-way through as the Republican strategist I&#39;m debating actually acknowledges that McCain&#39;s major idea for fixing the economy is continuing George W. Bush&#39;s tax policies - and that when she&#39;s called out for saying that, she tries to deny what she just said.</p> <p>The interchange is instructive for two reasons.</p> <p>First and foremost is the admission: namely, that Republicans still want America to believe that the way to steady the economy is to follow Bush&#39;s efforts to slash taxes for millionaires. As I show in the very first chapter of <a href="http://www.amazon.com/dp/0307395634?tag=sirotablog-20&amp;amp;camp=0&amp;amp;creative=0&amp;amp;linkCode=as1&amp;amp;creativeASIN=0307395634&amp;amp;adid=1BYG4T2ZJJAZXD5JM0YF&amp;amp;">my book</a>, this is a prescription being rejected even in some of the most conservative parts of the country.</p> <p>Second, there is the denial: When called onto the carpet for wanting to continue the policies of the most unpopular president in history, Republicans start running for cover to the point of claiming they never said what they just said. The denial is a tacit acknowledgment of the power of the populist uprising now boiling throughout the country. The Reverend expressed frustration with a focus on Faith-Based initiatives and personal responsibility when there are some services that only the larger entity of government can provide. </p><p>Large scale disasters, economic and having to do with aging infrastructure, the Reverend stressed, can not be fixed by Church daycares and strong fathers. For instance, he is a frequent guest on a Christian radio program entitled Jimmy DeYoung's Prophecy Today Weekly, making Maginnis just another rapture Christians that FOX News deceptively and incompletely labels as an "expert" or "contributor" or "analyst."</p> <p>Col. Maginnis was pretty active in the late 1990s and early 2000s as Director of National Security and Foreign Affairs for James Dobson's uber-Christian lobbying group and think tank, Family Research Council, currently run by Tony Perkins.</p> <p>He wrote several articles opposing allowing gays to serve in the military. Many of these articles are listed on gay activist websites, but the links no longer work. In a very curious development, when one enters the name "Bob Maginnis" into the search engine on the FRC website, one gets zero results.</p> <p>According to a conservative site called Ether Zone, Col. Maginnis "worked on the military's super-secret black budget program."
