Video Proves FOX Erased McCain Saying He “Really Didn’t Love America”

On March 13, 2008, FOX’s Sean Hannity interviewed John McCain for the full hour. The interview started with questions about McCain’s time as a prisoner of war in Vietnam. At one point, this was said:

HANNITY: You spent two years of this five-and-a-half-year period in solitary confinement. What does that do to a person, to spend that much time in solitary confinement?

MCCAIN: I think it makes you a better person. Obviously, it makes you love America. I really didn't love America until I was deprived of her company.

Get that? McCain “really didn’t love America” until he was a POW.

Now think about how the right (including FOX and even Cindy McCain) have attacked Michelle Obama for saying that “for the first time in my adult life I am proud of my country because it feels like hope is finally making a comeback,” a quote that even Laura Bush has defended. Now listen to what McCain said. Let that sink in for a bit. Feels good, doesn’t it?

But there’s more.

Jedreport.com discovered that the transcript of the McCain/Hannity interview on FoxNews.com had no mention of McCain saying he “really didn’t love America” until he was a POW. I checked and sure enough, it wasn’t there. So I started watching the video of the interview of FoxNews.com — it wasn’t there either.

Another reason why Obama shouldn’t go on FOX? Racist bullshit like this from FOXNews.com:

Oprah Winfrey’s backing of Barack Obama for president hasn’t influenced a lot of other heavy hitting black celebrities to join her yet.

Her two most favorite authors, Maya Angelou and Toni Morrison, have not opened their pocketbooks yet for Obama. (Angelou has traditionally been a Clinton supporter.)

Neither has Spike Lee nor Denzel Washington, although the latter’s wife Pauletta sent Obama $2,300. Motown founder Berry Gordy, Jr. has put his bucks in Hillary Clinton’s campaign, as has Quincy Jones.

Also missing from Obama’s list of donors in the current election cycle is BET Chairman and Founder billionaire Robert L. Johnson. The regular Democratic donor did give Hillary Clinton $4,600 in 2007. The last time he sent a check to Obama was in 2006, for $2,100.

Obama’s celeb donors include the recently controversial Will Smith, but not Chris Gardner, the multi millionaire whom Smith played in "The Pursuit of Happyness." Obama did receive donations from the newly married Eddie Murphy and the always funny Chris Rock.

But neither Sean "Diddy" Combs nor Shawn "Jay Z" Carter has pitched in for the Illinois senator as of yet. Jay Z’s fiancée Beyonce Knowles has also remained silent. Her father, Mathew, last sent Obama $1,000 for his senate campaign.

This is just infuriating. FOX, including Bill O’Reilly, have implied that the only reason Oprah is backing Obama is because he’s black, then they try to say that there must be something “wrong” because every black celebrity they could think of hasn’t donated money to Obama because he’s black. I’m surprised they left out OJ Simpson, Ghostface Killah, Omarosa, Lil' Wayne, Mike Tyson, Flavor Flav, Louis Farrakhan, and Michael Vick.

What other candidate would get treated this way? Do ALL black people have to support Obama? Where are these articles?

Rudy Giuliani’s campaign has not triggered an influx of donation cash from serially-divorced, philandering, fascistic, 9/11 grief-whoring balding white men who spend taxpayer money on mistress booty calls and whose kids hate them.

So far, Mitt Romney has not secured significant donations from middle-aged Mormon himbos who strap their dogs to the tops of their cars until they develop stress/terror-induced diarreah.

A large number of geriatric, lethargic, uninspiring, lazy, clueless white actors are yet to open their checkbooks for Fred Thompson.

Critics are questioning why every religious whackjob who claims that God has chosen them for special messianic leadership missions yet holds decidedly un-Christian stances on capital punishment, war, and torture have not lined up behind Mike Huckabee.

Fucking racists.

FOX’s obsession with sex mixed with their alleged “conservative values” really makes them the perfect fit for the party of Mark Foley, David Vitter, Larry Craig, and John “Turned On by Statues” Ashcroft. When not pounding their pulpits and thumping their bibles, they dress their female anchors like hookers, fixate on sexual imagery and stories to emphasize and re-re-emphasize America's moral decline, and obsess over every manner of sexual abuse, perversion, or crime they can find (hello there, Debra LaFave!). But unlike your average closeted/repressed/perverted conservative, they do it out in the open.
