You may not know this, but John McCain is the gambling industry's go-to guy in the U.S. Senate. In fact, few people are aware of how close he is to them. We produced a television ad that will air in conservative markets in Florida and Virginia, as well as on national cable TV.

John McCain took more than a million dollars in campaign contributions from gambling interests. At least 33 lobbyists for the industry are helping him on his campaign. And John McCain has supported expanding gambling's agenda over and over again in the U.S. Senate.
We think it's compelling example of why we need to clean up Congress by passing public financing of all federal elections. But John McCain has walked away from his past support of comprehensive reform. That's why this message will be aired in some of the most conservative areas of two swing states.

(Not to mention making you wonder if a McCain/Palin regime will be the kind to suggest that the Lower Classes gamble away their welfare cheques as a quick way out of their poverty and misery....)

The big prize stands at more than $120m, and could be won on Thursday.

But there are fears that the lottery is creating a dangerous betting fever, with many people spending their life savings.
