The man, who was acquitted for murder of Ronald Goldman and his former wife Nicole Brown, is now on trial for alleged kidnapping and aggravated assault with a weapon.</p> <p>We see men and women who make stupid accusations that Senator Barack Obama is a Muslim. Even one man in Florida said Senator Obama is a Half-Breed Muslin [sic]! </p> <p>The only Muslims serving in the United States Congress are Keith Ellison of Minnesota and Andre Carson of Indiana. They are both Democrats.</p> <p>Remember I said soft news stories! Well this one will bring back the boogeyman! Cause many Americans already cast guilt on the man and hope for him to finally be placed behind bars. But if the jury finds Simpson, not guilty, I bet you the right wing pundits will try to tie this decision to Senator Obama.</p> <p>I have the feeling that Senator Barack Obama will have to respond to the jury's decision. The right wing will make more mountains out of mole hills, like they forced the Jeremiah Wright, pigs in the lipstick and his wife onto the campaign.</p> <p>The Electoral College is showing a strong shift in the electoral votes. Senator Barack Obama is leading by 353 to 185 for Senator John McCain.</p> <p>Some [Republicans] are expressing strong concern for Governor Sarah Palin and the lack of strong attacks against Senator Barack Obama. Most of the conservative talk radio pundits want the McCain campaign to push more of the so-called radical associations [Jeremiah Wright, Bill Ayers, ACORN, Tony Rezko, and Franklin Raines].</p> <p>In my city of Dayton, Ohio, The Clarion Group mailed a DVD to my sister. Its called Obsession: The Radical Islam War Against The West. The DVD is being disturbed into swing states, Florida, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Michigan. The FBI is looking into a hate crime committed in my community. Two men had sprayed a foreign substance into a Dayton, Ohio Mosque. That video may have inspired these men to cause harm to innocent people.</p> <p>I have nothing personal against any conservative minded person. I just don't understand how we can continue down the path that we're going without exploring some of the resources that we know are available to us.</p> <p>ROMNEY: You said it well, I can't disagree with you. You know, we've talked for years now about the largest reserve that we're aware of, which is in ANWR, in Alaska, the people of the state of are very anxious to have developed. Time and again, they say, please come in and develop this . . . there's drilling in the outer continental shelf, for me that's very much part of the picture . . . I think that the president has to be not just the commander in chief or the communicator in chief and talk to the American people about the consequences of not developing our resources . . . if you don't want nuclear power and you don't want to drill for oil and you don't want clean burning coal, then what that means is $100 oil, then it's going to be . . .$3 a gallon then $5/gal. then to $8/gal. then $10/gal. and by the way that means it'd be pretty tough living around here. Heating your homes, it's $1500 for a winter, it's going to be $3000 and then $6000, those are the kind of consequences that show people . . . but we have to make those kinds of decisions today. A nuclear power plant doesn't get built in two or three years.</p> <p>QUESTIONER: Does that mean that you're going to be advocating then that we do drill?</p> <p>ROMNEY: Absolutely, absolutely. So I actually have a two part question. My first question I, I would like to know what your priorities are in, not just biofuels, but other alternative forms of energy. And also, what would you propose to do to cap oil companies that are currently receiving windfall profits from their sales?</p> <p>JOHN MCCAIN: Well, first of all, on the biofuels, I'm all for every kind of alternate kind of energy. Wind, solar, uh, tide, every kind of alternate fuel. But I'm not for distorting the market. And when we subsidize ethanol, and we put tariffs on imported ethanol. We distort the market. And so, what happens? People grow corn and they grow it for alternate fuels and it is one of the reasons, not the only reason, but one of the reasons why we've seen a dramatic inflation in food prices. Because whenever you distort the market through government intervention in such a fashion, you see the results that we have. I'm for wind, solar, tide, all that. I'm all for nuclear. And I believe that we're not going to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and become energy independent, which we will do, of foreign oil, unless we use nuclear power and use it in great abundance. And it is not a problem of technology, it's a problem of what you do with the spent nuclear fuel. Whether you reprocess it or whether you store it someplace. And the technology is there, but the NIMBY problem is there. And the resistance of extremist environmental groups against nuclear power. The United States Navy has sailed ships around the world for more than 60 years with nuclear power plants on them and we've never had a problem/ So I think we need to store it and reprocess it. The French do, the Europeans do, there's no reason why we can't as well. I don't like obscene profits being made anywhere. And I'd be glad to look, not just at the windfall profits tax, that's not what bothers me. But we should look at any incentives that we are giving to people or industries or coroporations that are distorting the market. And again, it's a--, I bring it up again. We now have a farm bill that's winding its way through the Senate and House of Representatives that protects sugar. Why should we do that when we have seen an increasing cost of food and particularly those, including those that have sugar in it. Why shouldn't we, why should we raise protectionist barriers to sugar into this country? Why should we pay farmers, who make as much as $900,000 a year, additional tax dollars of yours and mine. If I were the president, I would veto that farm bill in a New. York. Mr. Wagoner was president and Managing Director of General Motors do Brasil (GMB) in 1991 and 1992. Prior to that, he was Vice President in charge of finance for General Motors Europe based in Zurich, Switzerland, in 1989 and 1990. </p> <p>Mr. Wagoner began his GM career as an analyst in the Treasurer's Office in New York in 1977. After several promotions there, in 1981 he became treasurer of GMB in Sao Paulo. In 1984, he became Executive Director of finance for GMB. He moved to GM of Canada Limited in 1987 as Vice President and finance manager. In October 1988, he became group director, strategic business planning, for the former Chevrolet-Pontiac-GM of Canada Group.
